플라스틱 판형 열교환기의 성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Performance of Plastic Plate Heat Exchanger)

  • Aluminum plate heat exchanger, rotary wheel heat exchanger, and heat pipe heat exchanger have been used (or ventilation heat recovery in the air-conditioning system. The purpose of this research is to develop high efficiency plastic plate heat exchanger which can substitute aluminum plate heat exchanger. Because thermal conductivity of plastic is quite small compared to that of aluminum, various heat transfer enhancement techniques are applied in the design of plastic plates. Five types of heat exchanger model are designed and manufactured, which are plate type, plate-fin type, turbulent promoter type, corrugate type, and dimple type. Thermal performance and pressure loss of each heat exchangers are measured in various operating conditions, and compared each other. Test results show that heat transfer performance of corrugate type, turbulent promoter type, and dimple type are increases about $43\%$, $14\%$, and $33\%$ at the equivalent fan power compared to those of plate type, respectively. On the other hand, the heat transfer performance of plate-fin type decreases $9\%$ because fins can not play their own role.

확산판의 투과율이 고출력 양자점 조명의 광특성에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Study of the Effect of the Transmittance of a Diffuser Plate on the Optical Characteristics of High-power Quantum-dot Illumination)

  • 눈부심 방지를 위한 확산판의 투과율과 연색지수 향상을 위한 양자점 필름의 농도가 고출력 직하형 백색 LED 조명의 광특성에 미치는 영향을 조사했다. 확산판의 투과율이 감소할 경우 조명의 휘도는 줄어들었고 색좌표, 상관색온도는 별다른 변화를 보이지 않았으며 연색지수는 약간 상승했다. 시야각에 따른 광특성의 편차는 거의 없었고 휘도 분포는 람버시안 분포에 가까웠다. 양자점 필름의 농도가 증가할 경우 스펙트럼 상 적색 성분이 늘어나면서 이 성분의 비중을 표현하는 색좌표 x가 증가했고 상관색온도는 약 6000 K에서 4000 K 부근으로 현저히 감소했다. 아울러 조명의 구조를 최적화하면 연색지수가 95까지 증가함을 확인했다. 이런 결과는 적절한 투과율의 확산판과 양자점 필름의 조합을 통해 눈부심이 없고 시야각에 따른 색편차가 거의 없으며 특히 색좌표의 가변이 가능한 고연색성의 조명 구현이 가능함을 보여준다.

EH36-TM강의 대입열 EGW 용접부 저온 인성에 미치는 미세 조직의 영향 (Effects of Microstructures on the Toughness of High Heat Input EG Welded Joint of EH36-TM Steel)

  • The characteristics of high heat input (342kJ/cm) EG (Electro Gas Arc) welded joint of EH36-TM steel has been investigated. The weld metal microstructure consisted of fine acicular ferrite (AF), a little volume of polygonal ferrite (PF) and grain boundary ferrite (GBF). Charpy impact test results of the weld metal and heat affected zone (HAZ) met the requirement of classification rule (Min. 34J at $-20^{\circ}C$). In order to evaluate the relationship between the impact toughness property and the grain size of HAZ, the austenite grain size of HAZ was measured. The prior austenite grain size in Fusion line (F.L+0.1 mm) was about $350{\mu}m$. The grain size in F.L+1.5 mm was measured to be less than $30{\mu}m$ and this region was identified as being included in FGHAZ(Fine Grain HAZ). It is seen that as the austenite grain size decreases, the size of GBF, FSP (Ferrite Side Plate) become smaller and the impact toughness of HAZ increases. Therefore, the CGHAZ was considered to be area up to 1.3mm away from the fusion line. Results of TEM replica analysis for a welded joint implied that very small size ($0.8\sim1.2{\mu}m$) oxygen inclusions played a role of forming fine acicular ferrite in the weld metal. A large amount of (Ti, Mn, Al)xOy oxygen inclusions dispersed, and oxides density was measured to be 4,600-5,300 (ea/mm2). During the welding thermal cycle, the area near a fusion line was reheated to temperature exceeding $1400^{\circ}C$. However, the nitrides and carbides were not completely dissolved near the fusion line because of rapid heating and cooling rate. Instead, they might grow during the cooling process. TiC precipitates of about 50 ~ 100nm size dispersed near the fusion line.

  • 본 논문은 넓은 보의 전단강도를 대상으로 한 실험적 평가에 대해 기술하였다. 본 논문의 실험을 통해 넓은 보에 횡방향 단면에서 GFRP 판의 보강개수와 종방향 전단보강 간격, 그리고 유효깊이가 전단강도에 끼치는 영향에 관하여 연구하였다. 총 7개의 시험체에 유공형 GFRP 판 형태로 전단보강재를 보강하여 전단성능 실험을 실시하였다. 본 논문에 기재된 전단보강재는 유공형 판 형태로 제작되어 타설 시 콘크리트의 유동성을 증가시켜 보강재와 콘크리트의 부착력을 향상시켰다. 7개 시험체의 주 변수로는 전단보강재의 횡방향 단면에 대한 판의 보강개수와 종방향 전단보강 간격, 그리고 유효깊이로 정하였다. 시험체의 균열 및 파괴 양상, 변형률과 전단강도비를 분석하였다. GFRP판으로 전단보강된 넓은 보의 전단강도는 ACI 318-11 기준으로 산정되었다. 실험의 결과를 통해 유공형 GFRP 판이 전단보강재로서 넓은 보에 효과적으로 적용됨을 확인하였다.

금속분리판의 Electro Polishing 및 CrN 코팅을 통한 PEMFC 성능 향상을 위한 연구 (A Study to Improve PEMFC Performance by Using Electro Polishing and CrN Coating on Metal Bipolar Plate)

  • As an important component of a fuel cell, the bipolar plate comprises a large proportion in the fuel cell's volume, weight and price. The bipolar plate is the most widely used; however, graphite bipolar plate is large in volume, brittle and therefore easily broken during assembling. In addition, due to its poor machinability, production costs a lot, unless mass production. Compared with the graphite bipolar plate, the metal bipolar plate has good machinability, high electric conductivity and strong mechanical strength; however, it corrodes easily and has a high contact resistance, so in order to prevent corrosion and reduce the contact resistance, the basic metal needs to be processed by use of electro polishing and coating. The water which is produced by electrochemical reactions in the fuel cell must be discharged smoothly. In this study, in order to prevent corrosion the processes of electro polishing and CrN coating were used. According to the presence or absence of these processes, the contact angles can be measured and different metal bipolar plates can be made, these plates can be used for comparing and analyzing the performance of the fuel cell.

자동차용 휠(wheel)의 충격해석 신뢰도 향상을 위한 13도법 충격시험기의 강성 연구 (A Study on the Stiffness of a 13degree-type Impact Tester for Aluminum Wheels)

  • It is positively necessary to study on the stiffness of a 13degree-type impact tester in order to improve the fracture prediction of impact testing in wheels using FE(finite-element) analysis. The 13degree-type impact tester consists of an impact striker, a wheel fixer, a steel plate, and four cylindrical rubbers. Important parts of the tester are the steel plate and four cylindrical rubbers which play a role of absorbing impact energy during impact testing. Because of these buffers, the RF(reaction force) variation of the lower part in the 13degree-type impact tester showed the tendency like a damped harmony oscillation during impact testing. In order to investigate the stiffness of a 13degree-type impact tester, this work measured each stiffness of a steel plate and cylindrical rubbers. The stiffness of a cylindrical rubber was measured using a compressive tester. On the other hand, the stiffness of a steel plate was predicted by simulating experimental method using FE analysis.

  • 진공챔버는 진공게이지 교정, 산업에서의 재료처리 등 여러 가지 다양한 용도에 맞게 적용이 가능하다. 이 진공챔버 내부에서 가스가 유입되는 과정에서의 진공도는 일정하게 유지하기가 힘들다. 산업체 응용에서뿐만 아니라 연구과정에서도 진공챔버 내부에 가스가 유입되는 동안의 내부압력분포와 최대도달 평형압력을 아는 것이 매우 중요하다. 이러한 진공챔버 내부의 압력 불균형을 감소시키기 위해서 가스 주입구 부분에 baffle을 이용하는 방법이 있다. 현재 지속적인 기체흐름이 있는 진공챔버 내부의 기체흐름의 작용에 관해 0.1 Pa~133 Pa 영역에서 불규칙한 압력을 최소화하기 위한 baffle plate의 효과에 대해 연구하였다. 최대편차는 가스 주입구 부분에서 나타나는 압력으로 baffle plate가 전환흐름영역에서 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Dexmedetomidine과 Pethidine을 이용한 정맥내 진정하에 시행된 악교정수술 후 금속나사제거 (Plate and Screw Removal after Orthognathic Surgery, under Intravenous Sedation with Dexmedetomidine and Pethidine)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the changes of a physiologic nature and the sedative parameters associated with dexmedetomidine and pethidine, in patients undergoing plate and screw removal surgery, after orthognathic surgery. Methods: Twenty-three patients were sedated with dexmedetomidine and pethidine during plate and screw removal, after orthognathic surgery. An initial loading dose of dexmedetomidine ($1.0{\mu}g/kg$ infused over 10 minutes) was followed by a maintenance dose ($1.0{\mu}g/kg/hr$). Systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, oxygen saturation, and heart rate were monitored. Perioperative amnesia and anxiety were recorded. Results: Significant changes were found in the blood pressure and heart rate (Freidman test, P<0.05), but not in oxygen saturation (Freidman test, P>0.05). Amnesia during local injection was observed in eight patients (34.8%). Compared with the preoperative anxiety score, the intraoperative anxiety score was decreased. Conclusion: In this study, we found cardiovascular and respiratory stability in intravenous sedation using dexmedetomidine with pethidine, in plate and screw removal, after orthognathic surgery. Furthemore, intravenous sedation using dexmedetomidine with pethidine shows adequate analgesic and sedative effects.

무지외반증에서 저상형 금속판 고정을 이용한 근위 개방형 절골술의 임상적 결과: 근위 갈매기형 절골술 후 K-강선 고정술과의 비교 (The Clinical Results of the Proximal Opening Wedge Osteotomy Using a Low Profile Plate in Hallux Valgus: Comparison with Proximal Chevron Osteotomy Fixed with K-wires)

  • Purpose: To present clinical results of proximal first metatarsal opening wedge osteotomy and low profile plate fixation in hallux valgus deformity. Materials and Methods: Thirty-two patients (39 feet) underwent surgery for hallux valgus deformity. Fourteen patients (18 feet; Group A) underwent proximal first metatarsal opening wedge osteotomy fixed with low profile titanium plate ($Arthrex^{(R)}$), and 18 patients (21 feet; Group B) underwent proximal chevron osteotomy with two K-wires. Improvement in hallux valgus angle (HVA), 1, 2 intermetatarsal angle (IMA), range of motion of 1st metatarsophalangeal joint, VAS score, and the length of first metatarsal on weight-bearing radiograph were evaluated preoperatively and at final follow-up. Results: HVA improved from $36.2{\pm}6.6$ degrees to $11.7{\pm}5.1$ degrees, and 1, 2 IMA improved from $15.7{\pm}2.6$ degrees to $7.2{\pm}1.9$ degrees. VAS score improved from $7.2{\pm}1.2$ to $1.4{\pm}0.9$. There were no significant differences clinically and radiologically. Conclusion: Proximal first metatarsal opening wedge osteotomy with stable fixation using low profile plate may be an effective surgical option for correction of hallux valgus deformity.

선미부에 유동제어판을 부착한 선박에 대한 포텐셜 유동해석 (Potential Flow Analysis for a Ship with a Flow Control Plate near the Stern)

  • In the paper the effect of a stern-plate attached to a ship was taken into account. The relationship between the trim angle of a ship and the wave-resistance coefficient induced by the a stern-plate was studied using the potential flow analysis method. Numerical algorithm was described using the panel method and the vortex lattice method(VLM) to simulate the flow phenomena around a ship. The non-linearity of the free surface boundary conditions were considered using the iterative method and the IGE-GMRES(Incomplete Gaussian Elimination-The Generalized Minimal RESidual) algorithm was adopted to solve the linear equation at each iterative step. Numerical calculations were carried out to investigate the validity of the adopted algorithm using KCS(KRISO 3600 TEU Container) hull. Possible cases for attachment of the plate were checked. The results showed that the numerical algorithm could be physically appropriate.
