STI-CMP 공정에 미치는 연마 패드 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Polishing Pad in STI-CMP Process)

  • We studied the characteristics of polishing pad, which can apply STI-CMP process for global planarization of multilevel interconnection structure. Also, we investigated the effects of different sets of polishing pad, such as soft and hard pad. As an experimental result, hard pad showed center-fast type, and soft pad showed edge-fast type. Totally, the defect level has shown little difference, however, the counts of scratch was defected less than 2 on JRlll pad. Through the above results, we can select optimum polishing pad, so we can expect the improvements of throughput and devise yield.

  • Chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process was required for the global planarization of inter-metal dielectric(IMD), inter-level dielectric (ILD) layers of multi-layer interconnections. In this paper, we studied the characteristics of polishing pad, which can apply shallow trench isolation (STI)-CMP process for global planarization of multi-level interconnection structure. Also, we investigated the effects of different sets of polishing pad, such as soft and hard pad. As an experimental result, hard pad showed center-fast type, and soft pad showed edge-fast type. Totally, the defect level has shown little difference, however, the counts of scratch was detected less than 2 on JR111 pad. Through the above results, we can select optimum polishing pad, so we can expect the improvements of throughput and device yield.

  • 현의 수직이등분선은 원의 중심을 지나고 임의의 두 현의 수직이등분선들의 교점은 중심이라는 것은 잘 알려진 원의 기하학적 특성이다. 본 논문은 홍채 분할을 위해 동공 영역을 검출할 시, 이러한 원의 기하학적 특성을 이용하여 동공의 중심과 반경을 고속으로 검출할 수 있는 고속 동공 검출 방법에 관한 것이다. 제안된 방법은 인간의 안구 영상에서 수리 형태학 연산을 통해 동공의 원형 윤곽 후보점들을 추출한 후, 원형 윤곽 상의 네 점을 이용하여 두 개의 현을 구하고 이 두 현의 수직이등분선들 간의 교점을 원의 중심으로 삼음으로써 동공의 중심과 반경을 고속으로 검출할 수 있는 것이 특징이다. 제안된 방법은 안구 영상에서 고속으로 동공의 반경과 중심을 검출할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 부분적으로 가려진 동공도 검출할 수 있다.

A Lightweight Pedestrian Intrusion Detection and Warning Method for Intelligent Traffic Security

  • As a research hotspot, pedestrian detection has a wide range of applications in the field of computer vision in recent years. However, current pedestrian detection methods have problems such as insufficient detection accuracy and large models that are not suitable for large-scale deployment. In view of these problems mentioned above, a lightweight pedestrian detection and early warning method using a new model called you only look once (Yolov5) is proposed in this paper, which utilizing advantages of Yolov5s model to achieve accurate and fast pedestrian recognition. In addition, this paper also optimizes the loss function of the batch normalization (BN) layer. After sparsification, pruning and fine-tuning, got a lot of optimization, the size of the model on the edge of the computing power is lower equipment can be deployed. Finally, from the experimental data presented in this paper, under the training of the road pedestrian dataset that we collected and processed independently, the Yolov5s model has certain advantages in terms of precision and other indicators compared with traditional single shot multiBox detector (SSD) model and fast region-convolutional neural network (Fast R-CNN) model. After pruning and lightweight, the size of training model is greatly reduced without a significant reduction in accuracy, and the final precision reaches 87%, while the model size is reduced to 7,723 KB.

  • 최근 백만 볼트 영상(megavoltage imaging, MVI)에서 급격히 발전해 온 디지털 방사선영상(digital radiography, DR)은 치료용 방사선영상 기술이 발전함에 따라 매우 정확하면서 간단하게 측정할 수 있는 일반적인 정도관리(quality assurance, QA) 방법을 요구하게 되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 일반적인 QA 방법과 computed radiography (CR) 장비를 사용하여 MVI의 변조전달함수(modulation transfer function, MTF), 잡음전력스펙트럼(noise power spectrum, NPS), 양자검출효율(detective quantum efficiency, DQE)를 평가하고자 하였다. 텅스텐으로 구성된 $19{\times}10{\times}1cm^3$ 두께의 엣지(edge) 블록을 사용하였으며, 6 MV energy를 사용하였다. 또한 검출기는 CR-IP (image plate), CR-IP-lead, the CR-IP-back (lanex TM fast back screen), CR-IP-front (lanex TM fast front screen)를 사용하였으며, pre-sampling MTF를 계산하였다. CR-IP의 MTF는 0.70 lp/mm를 나타내었고, CR-IP front의 MTF는 1.10 lp/mm로서 가장 높은 값의 고해상도 공간분해능을 보였다. 가장 우수한 검출기의 NPS는 CR-IP front screen에서 확인되었다. 공간주파수가 증가함에 따라 1.0 cycles/mm의 가까운 DQE를 획득하였다. 본 연구결과로서 자체 제작한 엣지 블록 방법은 MVI의 MTF, NPS, DQE를 평가하는 일반적인 QA 방법으로 사용될 수 있음을 확인하여 주었다.

An efficient adaptive finite element method based on EBE-PCG iterative solver for LEFM analysis

  • Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics (LEFM) has been developed by applying stress analysis to determine the stress intensity factor (SIF, K). The finite element method (FEM) is widely used as a standard tool for evaluating the SIF for various crack configurations. The prediction accuracy can be achieved by applying an adaptive Delaunay triangulation combined with a FEM. The solution can be solved using either direct or iterative solvers. This work adopts the element-by-element preconditioned conjugate gradient (EBE-PCG) iterative solver into an adaptive FEM to solve the solution to heal problem size constraints that exist when direct solution techniques are applied. It can avoid the formation of a global stiffness matrix of a finite element model. Several numerical experiments reveal that the present method is simple, fast, and efficient compared to conventional sparse direct solvers. The optimum convergence criterion for two-dimensional LEFM analysis is studied. In this paper, four sample problems of a two-edge cracked plate, a center cracked plate, a single-edge cracked plate, and a compact tension specimen is used to evaluate the accuracy of the prediction of the SIF values. Finally, the efficiency of the present iterative solver is summarized by comparing the computational time for all cases.

Al5083재 TIG용접부의 잔류응력이 피로균열전파거동에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Residual Stress in Al5083 TIG Weld Region on Fatigue Crack Propagation Behavior)

  • The welded structure unnecessarily remains residual stress due to the very high heating of local region and lastly cooling. The residual stress sometimes causes fracture initiation of welded structures. In this paper, distribution and magnitude of tensile and compressive residual stresses in the TIG(Tungsten Inert Gas) welded aluminum alloy such as Al5083-H112 are measured by using the hole-drilling method. Furthermore, the effects of residual stresses in the TIG welded aluminum CCT(Center Crack Tension) and SEN(Single Edge Notched) Specimens on the fatigue crack propagation behavior are analyzed. The fatigue cracks initiated at residual stresses region are influnced by tensile and compressive residual stresses. However, the effects are found to be released fast for both cases according to the cyclic loads and extension of crack length.

  • A new demodulation scheeme for differentially encoded GMSK signal is introduced and described. In the proposed differential detection method, the signal is sampled at the center of the time slot, at which the effect of the intersymbol interference is relatively smaller than the edge of the time slot. The proposed differential detector takes this adbantate. The error rate performance of the differential detector has been numerically calculated in the fast fading encountered in the land mobile radio channels. A comparison of performance with the differential detector for MSK signal is given. Finally the possibility of improving performance employing nonredudant error correction is studied.

  • To evaluate method for monitoring anesthetic depth with quantitative electroencephalography (q-EEG), we recorded processed EEG (raw EEG) and pain score till 100 minutes in beagle dogs anesthetized for 60 minutes with propofol (n = 5, PRO group), isoflurane (n = 5, ISO group) and propofol-ketaminefentanyl (n = 5, PFK group). Raw EEG was converted into 95% spectral edge frequency (SEF) by fast Fourier transformation (FFT) method. We investigated anesthetic depth by comparing relationship (Pearson's correlation) between q-EEG (95% SEF) and pain score. Pearson's correlation coefficients are +0.2372 (p = 0.0494, PRO group), +0.79506 (p < 0.001, ISO group) and +0.49903 (p = 0.0039, PFK group).

  • The free vibration of solid circular plates has been studied using the differential transformation method(DTM). The effects such as mass at edge and elastic restraints have been considered. In order to avoid the singularity problem at the solid circular center two regularity conditions were applied with respect to the number of circumferential nodal line. The non-dimensional natural frequencies of the general circular plates were obtained for various boundary conditions. The results obtained by this method were compared with previous works. DTM showed fast convergency, accuracy, efficiency and validity in solving vibration problem of general circular plates.
