이주자에 대한 사회적 거리와 시민권에 대한 태도 (Social Distance and Attitude toward Migrants' Citizenship in Korea)

  • 이 논문은 다문화 사회로 향하고 있는 한국 사회에서 나타나는 이주자에 대한 사회적 거리와 이주자에게 부여되는 시민적 지위에 대한 태도를 실증적으로 분석한다. 지구화의 진전으로 국가의 영토적 경계를 벗어나서 존재하면서도 본래의 국적을 유지하는 사람들이 급격히 증가되면서 이주자들의 시민권이 다인종 다문화 사회의 중요한 쟁점이 되어 왔다. 이 논문은 한국학중앙연구원이 2008년에 수행한 '다인종 다문화 사회통합 관련 조사' 자료를 이용하여, 외국인 및 이주자에 대한 사회적 거리, 국민정체성의 기반에 대한 인식, 이주자들에게 부여되는 시민적 지위, 즉 이주자 시민권에 대한 태도와 그것에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석한다. 흑인과 중동인에 대한 한국인의 사회적 거리가 큰 편이지만 현실적으로 더 문제가 되는 것은, 이주자의 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 동남아인들과 향후 점차 증가할 것으로 예상되는 새터민에 대한 사회적 거리도 상당히 크다는 사실이다. 국민정체성의 기반을 시민적 요소, 민족적 요소, 문화적 요소를 나누어 살펴보면 시민적 요소가 가장 중요하게 인식되고 있으며, 이중국적에 대해서는 폐쇄적인 태도가 강하게 나타나 지구적 시민권과는 상충되는 현상이 존재하고 있다. 이주자 시민권에 대한 태도 모형을 다중회귀분석으로 추정한 결과에 의하면, 한국 사회에서 이주자들을 위한 지구적 시민권의 개념을 구현하기 위해서는 기본적 인권과 평등에 대한 보편주의적 태도와 시민적 자질을 중요시하는 국민정체성에 대한 인식을 확산시키는 동시에, 한국사회에서 강하게 나타나고 있는 단일민족의식과 이중국적에 대한 폐쇄주의적 태도를 약화시켜 나가야 한다.

모바일 인스턴트 메신저 상황에서 소속감, 외로움이 자기노출 행동에 미치는 영향: 시스템 품질의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Belongingness and Loneliness on Self-Disclosure in MIM: The Moderating Role of System Quality)

  • Purpose - Recently, Mobile technologies and devices including smart phones and tablets have increased the possibility of communicating with other people and sharing personal information without time and space restriction. In order to realize the market potential related to mobile technologies, a large number of internet services have been incorporated into mobile platforms. Especially, The number of MIM(Mobile Instant Messenger) users has been increasing dramatically and services using MIM platform also have diversified. In spite of drastic growth in markets related to MIM, there is little empirical research on MIM and users' behaviors. This study designed to examine the structural relationships among belongingness, loneliness, self-disclosure intention, system quality, and self-disclosure behavior in context of MIM. Research design, data, and methodology - Three hypotheses were about the relationship among belongingness, loneliness and self-disclosure intention. The other two hypotheses were about the moderating effect of system quality in the causal relationship between self-disclosure intention and self-disclosure behavior. The data was analyzed by structural equation modeling. Research data were obtained from 330 undergraduate students who were KakaoTalk users and total 314 valid questionnaires were used in the final analysis. Results - The results from this study are as follow. First, the belongingness and the loneliness had a significant impact on self-disclosure intention in MIM. Second, the self-disclosure intention in MIM also had a positive impact on the self-disclosure behavior. Lastly, there is a moderating effect of the system quality in the relationship between the self-disclosure intention and self-disclosure behavior in MIM. Specifically, the higher system quality level was perceived, the positive effect of the self-disclosure intention in MIM on the self-disclosure behavior was greater. Conclusions - Based on the results from this study, academic and practical implications can be drawn. First, the study extends the scope of research about SNS through focusing on MIM to be classified by closed type SNS and identifies the relationship between emotion, behavioral intention and behaviors in MIM. Second, this study provides strategic guidelines to increase the efficiency for promotion activity. Limitations for the study also should be discussed.

가맹본부에 대한 신뢰와 공정성이 관계만족과 장기적 결속에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Trust and Justice on Relation Satisfaction and Long-term Commitment in Franchise Business)

  • Purpose - This study examines the adverse press coverage that has increased in proportion to the remarkable growth of various kinds of franchise businesses in the food service industry. Today, the trust of franchisees in relation to their franchisor, and the maintenance of good relations between the two, has become a significant social issue. This study investigates relationship satisfaction and the long-term commitment between the franchisor and franchisee. Research design, data, methodology - We used a path analysis to investigate the relationship between justice and trust, trust and relationship satisfaction, justice and relationship satisfaction, trust and long-term commitment, and relationship satisfaction and long-term commitment. Structural Equation Modeling and a Sobel test were used to investigate the mediating effects of trust and relationship satisfaction. Data were collected from 237 Food Franchisees in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province in order to test the theoretical model and its hypotheses. Two research methodologies are generally used in the distribution management field. For this study, an empirical method was used. Results - A causal analysis was carried out to test if the research model has a sufficient fit index (for instance, χ2 = 46.694, df = 10, p = .000, GFI = 0.946, AGFI = 0.850, RMR = 0.034, NFI = 0.966, CFI = 0.973), and the results showed that the model was sufficient, thus demonstrating the suitability of the research model. Each hypothesis had a positive influence, both on long-term commitment and relationship satisfaction. Justice with the franchisor had a positive influence on trust. Relation satisfaction cognized by franchisees was found to positively influence long-term commitment. The franchisee perception of justice in relation to the franchisor had no significant influence on long-term commitment. The study investigated the hypothesis that trust could mediate justice and long-term commitment, and that relationship satisfaction could also mediate long-term commitment Both trust and relationship satisfaction were found to be important for long-term commitment. Specifically, trust sub-factors and justice sub-factors influenced long-term commitment. Identification-based and knowledge-based trust were more important than calculus-based trust. Distributive justice was deemed more important than procedural justice; distributive justice should thus be strengthened. Conclusions - Both franchisor and franchisee were independent businesses. Evidently however, the franchisor could not ensure profit without long-term commitment from the franchisee. As for the success of the franchise business, the franchisor should carry out appropriate strategies leading to a satisfactory relationship. For example, transparency makes it possible to maintain and enhance trust and to improve relationship satisfaction. Just relations between franchisor and franchisee should make it possible to maintain and enhance the franchisee's trust. The franchisor should provide a variety of information with respect to the franchisee's business success. Finally, in order to improve the franchisee's long-term commitment, the franchisor should ensure a just approach with trust and relationship satisfaction among their strategies.

청년창업기업의 창업초기 생존전략 : 중진공 청년전용자금 활용기업 사례 (Youth Startup Firms: A Case Study on the Survival Strategy for Creating Business Performance)

  • Purpose - Entrepreneurship promotion is emerging as an important economic growth agenda. However, in Korea, entrepreneurship has weakened because of the collapse of the venture bubbles of the 2000s and the global economic recession in 2008, which have induced the business community to choose stability over risk. The Korean government has been implementing several support projects to inspire and promote youth entrepreneurship through various means including financial assistance; however, the perpetuation rate of young entrepreneurship is still low as compared to advanced economies such as the US and EU. This case study focuses on the Youth Start-Up Business Support Program of the Small & Medium Business Corporation, and explores practical alternatives. Further, it aims to suggest managerial factors and a conceptual model for change management factors affecting the business performance creation of a startup company, based on the Small and medium Business Corporation's young venture startup fund. Research design, data, and methodology - Many studies examine the current progress and issues of startup firms, for example, a lack of systematic cultivation of entrepreneurship and startup business training, lack of commercialization funding for youth startup businesses, lack of mentoring, and inadequate infrastructure. From prior research, we address four factors, namely, personal managerial capabilities, innovative business model, sufficient cash flow, and social network, affecting startup companies' business performance. This study involved a sample survey of 200 young entrepreneurs to investigate casual relations between the four factors and business performance. A regression analysis was used to verify the hypotheses. Results - First, in relation to differences in the founder's personal characteristics, age, sales amount, and number of employees significantly impact business performance. Second, regarding the causal relation between the four factors for creating business performance, an innovative business model and social networking have supported the hypotheses, revealing that the more that a start-up founder has an innovative business model and social networking, the more the start-up firms are likely to have better performance (e.g., sales volume, employment, ROE, ROI, etc.). Although the founder's competency and sufficient cash flow have no significant relationship with business performance, the mean value was higher performance for high founder's competency and sufficient cash flow. Conclusions - This study provides basic data on policy support strategies of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, to help young entrepreneurs achieve their start-up business goals. It shows that young entrepreneurship startup firms should strive to explore ideas to satisfy customers' needs, and that changes in customer value and the continuous innovation of business model differentiation are required to actively respond to change management. Moreover, at the infant startup stage, they should activate social network programs to share information, thereby offsetting resource scarcity and managing business risk. Further, the establishment of a long-term vision and the implementation of training programs in related specific fields should be supported to strengthen founders' personal capabilities.

폭력매체와 청소년 비행 (Media Violence and Delinquent Behavior)

  • The effects of media violence on the delinquent behavior and violence of children and adolescent are controversial. However, a small but genuine association appears to exist between media violence and aggression or violence. At the present, for a considerable proportion of the population of children and adolescent, delinquent behavior and violence has become a major problem and a way of life. One factor contributing to this problem has been assumed to be the negative influence of mass media including television, drama, videotapes and fiction magazines and so on. Therefore, this paper is intended to discriminate the causal relationship of influence of mass media and juvenile delinquent behavior and violence and to provide nine hypotheses derived from reviewing the literature related to mass media and delinquent behavior. The nine hypotheses are as follows : 1. The presence of modeling mass media crime themes and the extent of interest in and exposure of children and adolescent to media violence themes will be positively correlated to their delinquent(aggressive) behavior. 2. A higher positive correlation will be revealed between interest in and exposure to media violence themes and aggressive behavior among adolescent having parental rejection than among adolescent not experiencing parental rejection. 3. A higher positive relationship will be found between interest in and exposure to mass media crime themes and delinquent behavior among youth having need deprivation than among youth not having need frustration. 4. A higher positive relationship will be presented between the presence of imitating mass media crime themes and interest in and exposure to media violence themes and delinquent or aggressive behavior among youth dysplaying their maladaptive character tendency than among those adolescent dysplaying adaptive character tendency. 5. A higher positively correlating relationship will be shown between interest in and exposure to mass media crime themes and delinquent behavior among youth with a higher scores of depressive trend than among those youth having few or no depression. 6. A higher positive relationship will be found between interest in and exposure to media violence themes and aggressive behavior among adolescent complaining of a high degree of psychosomatic complaints than among those youth having few or no psychosomatic complaints. 7. A higher positive correlation will be appeared between interest in and exposure to mass media crime themes and delinquent behavior among youth displaying aggressive impulsiveness than among those youth having few or no aggressive impulsiveness. 8. A higher positive relationship will be found between interest in and exposure to media violence themes and aggressive behavior among youth having antisocial character or neurotic character with weak ego functioning than among those adolescent not having antisocial character or neurotic character with weak ego functioning. 9. A higher positive correlation will be existed between interest in and exposure to mass media crime themes and delinquent behavior among adolescent displaying the lack of sociality than among those youth not having the lack of sociality. The above nine hypotheses will be tested by statistical methods including Chi-square test, simple correlation, principal component analysis, principal component regression analysis and LISREL path analysis.

B2B e-마켓플레이스의 e-CRM요인이 고객관계의 질과 성과에 미치는 영향 -전환장벽의 조절효과를 중심으로- (The Effect of e-CRM Factors on Customer Relationship Quality and Performance in B2B e-Marketplace -Focused on Moderating Effects of Switching Barriers)

  • 본 연구는 고객관계관리의 중요성과 비중이 높아짐에 따라 B2B e-마켓플레이스에서의 e-CRM요인이 고객관계의 질과 성과에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하고 이러한 영향관계에서 전환장벽이 조절효과를 가지는지를 기업 대상 설문조사 자료를 토대로 실증분석 하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면 첫째, e-CRM 요인 (e-Marketing, e-Service, e-Sales)은 B2B e-마켓플레이스 이용 고객들(공급자/구매자)과의 관계의 질(만족, 신뢰)과 성과(재구매 의도, 장기지향성)에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 고객관계의 질과 성과 간의 분석에서는 관계의 질이 높을수록 성과도 높아지는 긍정적 관계를 나타냈다. 셋째, 고객관계의 질과 성과간의 관계에서 전환장벽(대안 매력도, 전환비용)의 조절효과 분석에서는 대안매력도와 전환비용은 모두 정(+)의 조절효과를 보였다.

A study on the growth mechanism of Burger King based on dynamic models of success and failure of businesses

  • Purpose - This study is to propose a creative idea for constant business growth and development by examining characteristics of business outcomes by phase, which are "growth" and "erosion and stagnation," respectively. Research design, data, methodology - It is necessary to identify an occurrence of crisis and its diffusion with a dynamic model in order to identify a success and failure of businesses in an organic way, not on a binary structure. The static perspective is to understand a crisis as a simply one-time event or as a linear causation. Thus, it has a limited understanding of the overall situation and has limits to investigating a foundational cause and developing long-term countermeasures. On the contrary, the dynamic perspective is to understand the crisis as circulation process of the overall system. Thus, it divides elements of the crisis as external and internal ones to understand it as the causal relationship of each element. Results - During the growth period of Burger King, the company promoted its brand very successfully with aggressive and creative marketing activities. However, due to the founder's disposal of management rights and the following changes in the management, the company had no choice but to lose focus on its business philosophy and brand management, and eventually it had to face the big crisis (resonance) which was delisting from the stock market because of the external threat; well-being trend. However, Burger King resumed lifting on the stock exchange by making great efforts to clearly identify the current issues and seek solutions. Under the spirit of "perseverance" and its slogan "Have it your way" the company is now going head to head with McDonald's in the North American region and emerging countries. Conclusions - Then, what is the most crucial factor in the success and failure of businesses? Answers may vary, however, as learned from the case study of Burger King, corporations should inspect the present and focus on developing a long-term strategy for the future and actively fulfill the actions. McDonald's may not be able to innovate by itself in the future as it may become routinized to the growth. There will be chances of winning if we change conditions of individuals or organizations to an organic system in terms of being creative. There is a hopeful message here that an individual or small business may have more advantages in the era of the idea and innovation.

부사관과 학생들의 셀프리더십이 취업진로에 미치는 영향 (Effect on NCOs and students of self-leadershiployment career)

  • 이 연구는 부사관과 학생들이 자각하는 지지가 셀프리더십 욕구와 어떤 인과관계가 있는지를 살펴보고, 이러한 셀프리더십 욕구를 매개변수로 학생들의 임용행동과의 인과관계를 규명하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 부산지역의 남녀 대학 학생 부사관과 전공 학생을 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 362명의 학생을 추출하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 모형을 설정한 다음 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 통하여 변인간의 인과적 관계를 규명하였다. 이상과 같은 연구방법과 연구모형 검증을 기초로 하여 이 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 셀프리더십이 진로신념에 미치는 영향에서 진로계획 명확성에서는 확인 중심적 전략(+), 목표 중심적 전략(+), 독립적 자기신뢰에는 확인 중심적 전략(+), 건설적 사고전략(+), 자책 중심적 전략(+), 진로 유연성에서는 자연적 보상전략(+), 건설적 사고전략(+), 전문능력향상은 확인 중심적 전략(+), 자책 중심적 전략(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 셀프리더십이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향에서 일반만족에서는 자연적 보상전략(+), 교과만족에서는 자연적 보상전략(+), 목표 중심적 전략(+), 인식만족에서는 자연적 보상전략(+), 목표 중심적 전략(+)이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로신념이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향에서 일반만족에서는 진로계획 명확성(+), 독립적 자기신뢰(+), 진로유연성(+), 전문능력향상(+), 교과만족에서는 독립적 자기신뢰(+), 진로유연성(+), 전문능력 향상(+), 인식만족에서는 독립적 자기신뢰(+), 진로유연성(+), 진로계획명확성(+)이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

악성간암환자의 유전체자료 심볼릭 나무구조 모형연구 (Symbolic tree based model for HCC using SNP data)

  • 본 연구에서는 악성간암환자의 생존기간에 영향을 주는 인자를 찾기 위하여 반응변수를 악성간암 환자의 생존을 임상변수의 정보와 SNP유전인자를 통합한 자료를 대상으로 이해하기 쉬운 나무구조 생존모형과 심볼릭자료분석을 실시하여 영향을 주는 유의한 인자 뿐 아니라 그 임계치를 구하여 임상적으로 유용한 결과를 찾아 임상에 적용하는 것이 목적이다. 악성간암환자의 임상자료를 계량화하여 통계적 예후진단 모형을 구함으로써 임상변수 간 숨겨진 변수간의 관계를 규명하고 생존기간 군에 따른 예측 분류모형을 구하여 현시적으로 진단후 예후에 영향을 주는 중요 임상변수와 유전체변수 그 임계치를 구하여 임상에서의 치료계획에 중요한 근거를 제시했다. 심볼릭데이터 분석 결과 정상, 만성 간염, 간염, 악성간염 등의 4개 군으로 구성된 1840명의 대상자를 분석 5 유전체의 20개 SNP가 밝혀진 바 있다. 즉 IL10-ht2가 악성간암의 발병에 매위 강한 관련이 있고 TGFB L10P-Prosms가 만성 간염 환자 중 악성간암 발생 위험을 줄여주는 유전체로 밝혀졌다. SNP변수와 질병군의 컴셉트 변수에 따라 상관정도를 원의 반지름 길이로 상대적으로 나타내 줌으로써 가장 판별력 있는 심볼릭변수를 상대적으로 비교할 수 있었다. 임상자료와 유전체자료를 통합하여 심볼릭 나무구조 생존모형을 구하여 생존기간을 군으로 한 나무구조모형을 유의한 변수와 기준치와 함께 구할 수 있었다.

다채널 쇼핑과 고객만족: 쇼핑경험과 고객-기업 관계특성의 역할 (Multichannel Shopping and Customer Satisfaction: The Role of Shopping Experience and Customer-Firm Relationship Characteristics)

  • 최근의 유통환경에서 다채널 고객관리(multichannel customer management)가 실무적 및 이론적으로 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 기업수준에서 소비자의 다채널 쇼핑이 기업성과를 제고하는 것과 밀접한 관련성이 있는 것으로 알려져 있으나 이론적으로 이러한 결과가 발생하는 원인에 대하여 채널 중심적으로 제한적이고 예측적인 설명만이 이루어져 왔다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구는 다채널 쇼핑의 기업성과 증대의 원인으로서 고객만족과의 관계에 대한 심층적인 이해를 위하여 다채널 이용-쇼핑경험-고객만족의 연결을 체계적이고 실증적으로 검토하였다. 이와 더불어 고객유형 별 차별화된 쇼핑경험 제공의 필요성을 설명하기 위하여 다채널 이용과 쇼핑경험과의 관계에서 고객-기업 관계특성의 조절적 역할을 검토하였다. 다채널 유통업체의 660명의 고객을 대상으로 설문조사와 고객 데이터베이스를 통합한 자료를 바탕으로 가설검증을 수행하였다. 다채널 이용을 구매의사결정과정에서의 정보탐색과 제품구매 단계에서의 다채널 이용으로 구분하고 쇼핑경험을 편리성과 즐거움으로 구분하여 검토한 결과 다채널 이용과 고객만족과의 관계에서 쇼핑경험은 매개변수로서의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 즉, 기업의 다채널 고객관리 목적은 고객의 쇼핑목적으로서 편리성과 즐거움을 제공하여야 고객만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 또한 고객-기업 관계특성으로서 관계기간과 구매빈도를 대상으로 검토한 결과 다채널 이용과 즐거움과의 관계에서 구매빈도는 조절변수로서의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 다채널 전략의 목표설정 및 차별화된 다채널 고객관리 관점에서 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.
