In order to improve the quality of student teachers' practicum, this study analysed the current situation of student teachers' field practice in child care centers. The study also assessed the practicum implementation case of H Cyber University. First, this research examined the characteristics of practicum implementation in universities. Second, a variety of strategies based on a blended model, on/off-line lectures, professor-student interaction, university-daycare centers collaboration, e-mentoring, and student teachers' portfolios that reduce the problems of student teachers' training, were explored. Finally, the practicum implementation case that adopted these factors was assessed. The results from this case study implied that student teachers' practicums based on a blended model can be an alternative method for problem-solving in existing student teachers' training in universities.

This paper deals with the study on repair case of journal shaft and bearing damage in 25MW industrial gas turbine caused by sudden blackout, operation mistake, and logic abnormal, etc. When a serious accident such as journal and bearing damage in a gas turbine occurs, the domestic local companies having the gas turbine are dependent on manufacturer for all maintenance and repair schedule until now. This case study shows that the damaged gas turbine is normally re-operated itself in domestic by establishing repair schedule in a short period of time, repairing damage journal shaft and tilting pad bearings, and performing rotating test for a reliability check. This paper can be regarded as the important case study of emergency test run experience of the refurbished 25MW gas turbine rotor.

The reduction of setup time is very important in a lot production system. A punch press is a typical system of lot production. This paper describes a case study to reduce setup time of a punch press manufacturing system. Especially, this case study reduced the time of die exchange in the case that the standardization of die height is impossible realistically because of diversity on die height and heavy expenses. This study adopts a supplementary die and supplementary blocks to make the use of auto-clamping device possible. The paper also gives a sequencing algorithm to reduce the number of exchange of the supplementary die.

This study is to analyze the remodeling method of library in terms of space extension method and urban regeneration by repurposing function in unused facilities through case study. In many case of library extension, horizontal extensions are more frequent than vertical extensions, because there are limits to extend vertically due to high live load estimation by book stacks. Extension schemes was organized by new building extension method in connection with existing buildings, attaching method small scaled mass or linear mass to existing building, connecting method a plurality of existing small buildings, vertical extension method on the top of the structure, underground extension method using special structure. Unused facility remodeling to the library, large scaled buildings can be developed completely to the function of the library through the relocation of the space, while small scaled building needs spatial extension. In the case of spatial extension, existing space that was used for other purposes can be used as a reading room or office, avoiding high live load estimation.

In a future society where cutting-edge science technology such as artificial intelligence becomes commonplace, the demand for talented people with basic knowledge of mathematics and science is expected to increase continuously, and the educational infrastructure suitable for the characteristics of future generations is still insufficient. In particular, in the case of students taking convergence courses including practical training, there was a problem in communication with the instructor. In this study, we looked at the current status of distance learning at domestic universities that came suddenly due to the global pandemic of COVID-19. In addition, a case study of the use of technology was conducted to facilitate the interaction between instructors and learners through case analysis of distance classes in convergence subjects. Therefore, this study aims to introduce the case of developing lecture contents for smooth convergence education in a non-face-to-face educational environment targeting the developed AI convergence courses and applying them to the education of enrolled students.

This study investigated a case of a gifted Saudi student, X, who was early detected through Mawhiba (The Saudi Institution of Gifted) when he was eight years old. Then, the journey continued until he became a Tamayuz member and received a scholarship in 2022 to pursue his bachelor's at one of the prestige, high-ranking universities in the USA to study Mathematics and Economics. Lack of information about the status of Saudi verbal gifted maked X case a model to explore the roles of Mawhiba's programs in supporting Saudi verbal giftedness in general and particularly in learning the English language, plus seeking the opportunities Mawhiba provided for Saudi verbal gifted to enrich their giftedness in the English language through providing extended social networking and finally stating the sample's perspective about the opportunities and services Mawhiba provided him. The three core instruments to accumulate elaboration and interpret qualitative and quantitative data were academic records, writing samples, family observation, and a written interview.

The Earthquake Case Study and Disasters Information System based on GIS (MapECDIS 2002 for Windows), sponsored by Science and Technique Ministry of CHINA, is a GIS system developed to provide a tool for the government and the public to query and comprehend the disaster information (since 2221BC) and case study results (since 1966) of destructive earthquakes occurred in China. The system is expected to be useful for the earthquake forecast practice, the seismology research and earthquake disasters research as an applied assistant tool. The design idea and main functions of the system are introduced in the paper.

Objective : This study was carried out to analyze the trends of Acne related articles that have been published in the Journal of Korean Medicine Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology & Dermatology(JKOOD). Method : We studied 29 research papers relevant to Acne that published in JKOOD from 1998 to 2013. All the paper were classified into three categories; original article, review article and case report. We sub-classified the original articles into three categories; descriptive study, analytic study and experimental study. We analyzed the case report according to various types of treatment. Results : 1. The number of searched journals is 29 papers; 17 original ordicles, 4 review articles, 8 case reports. 2. Classification of 17 original articles into three categories; 10 experimental studies, 7 descriptive studies, 0 analytic study. 3. Method of Evaluation; Korean Acne Grading System(KAGS) is used frequently in descriptive studies and experimental studies. 4. Treatment in Case reports; 7 Case reports used External medical treatments. Conclusions : It is needed to develop the methods of grading system in acne related to Oriental medicine to obtain objectivity of studies. The number of analytic study, clinical trial and experimental study is need to increase.

Prior researchers interpreted the records of criminal cases involving the Progressive Party from a historical perspective. In marked contrast to existing trends, this study examines the Progressive Party case records through the lens of archival science. This study dissects the Progressive Party case records as a single and complete record group and at each stage of their life cycle from police investigation through criminal prosecution to trial. This approach enables a holistic analysis of archival characteristics of the records. This study begins with an appraisal of the nature and types of case records generated and maintained by the various agencies in light of the investigatory authorities delegated to each institution. This study then dissects the police, prosecution, and Counter Intelligence Corps records leading up to the indictment of Progressive Party members as well as the court records of the trial that followed. In particular, this study reveals the insufficiency and illegality of the evidence against the defendants in the Progressive Party case from an archival standpoint. Setting aside the admissibility or strength of the evidence under criminal law, the present study demonstrates that the records lack reliability, authenticity, and integrity-the fundamental attributes required for evidentiary efficacy of records from an archival standpoint.

The main focus of the study is to find out the origin of the case management in social work and relevant background and context around it, by using the method of genealogy, an historical framework or perspective developed by Foucault, French social philosopher. The reasons of the study are two fold : First, why the case management can be established as a major strategy of social work field in such a very short time. Second, since the case management has been accepted, why it has been reported ceaselessly that a lot of case managers have experienced the severe stress and sufferings in carrying out the case management practice. The results of the study shows that the case management is partly a very social device needed in the late 20th century to manage the social work resources and manpower efficiently, which might be against the genuine social work's mission and idealism. In a conclusion, to retrieve the genuine identities of social work profession, not only the practice case management should be cautious to tendency of management and control inherited in it but also be balanced by the traditional ideals of human emancipation and liberation.
