Works of director Robert Zemeckis have attracted much attention after the appearance of in which realistic digital characters appeared. Although he quitted animation production after , his 3D animation contributed to the 3D stereoscopic animation direction considerably. This study compared and analyzed representative 3D stereoscopic works of Robert Zemeckis with special reference to the theoretical background of 3D stereoscopic, cubic effect awareness factor using single eye sight and dual eye sight and matters of consideration in the direction of 3D stereoscopic image. This study presents data from a year-long teaching experiment which illustrate how two seventh graders modified their multiplicative thinking and interacted with their representing symbols in the context of combinatorial problem situations. Damon was at the process of construction of recursively multiplicative thinking by modifying his multiplicative reasoning, but Carol appeared to remain at the stage of a binary multiplicative scheme. The two students' struggles with their representing symbols or represented symbols by the teacher show that even well-organized symbolic systems from teachers' perspective do not necessarily help students advance their mathematical capacity.

This paper analyzes two films on the theme of love, and , which were released in 2002 and 2015 respectively, directed by Tod Haynes. Both movies have similar narratives of obstacles and overcoming of love, and deal with love that is not accepted by society. Two films conclude differently under similar situations, where the author's change can be observed. The purpose of this study is to examine the author's arguments and the process of change through comparison with the original novels and image expression method used in the films, especially focusing on the variations of characters in the original novels and Mise-en-scene and framing methods that visually depict the obstacles to the mind and love of lovers.

The purpose of this study is to examine the narrative correlation of nonverbal signs found in Charade. Charade, by using nonverbal signs, provides information about the character's psychological change, his or her relationship with others, and the places where they stay. The study of Charade, then, has to be approached considering not only the transmission of messages through nonverbal signs but also its signification. This study has analyzed the narrative and formation process of the subject that triggers the subject's activity by taking narrative semiotics to the film Carol (2015). As the status of women is represented by the mise-en-$sc{\grave{e}}ne$ at this time, this study aims to examine such a fact through Charade, which belongs to the realm of mise-en-$sc{\grave{e}}ne$. In this study, nonverbal signs that are used in Charade are drawn based on the nonverbal communication theory. The result of analyzing the texts showed that the use of interior decoration was outstanding in the process of expressing the status of female subjects. The use of gaze was noticeable in the process of expressing the acquisition of female subjects' power. Besides, it should be noted that the use of nonverbal signs such as accessories, territoriality, or gesture, was worthy of attention. It was confirmed that such nonverbal signs play an important role in the formation of subjects and configuration of narrative transformation.

An interesting bacterium (#271) was isolated from the abyssal plain of the Sigsbee Deep of the Gulf of Mexico. The organism exhibits marked polymorphism (baciloid, coryneform and myceloid morphologies) in response to certain cultural conditions. the organism has been observed undergoing reproduction by transverse fission, fragmentation and arthrospore production. The presence of arthrospores indicates the bacterium is a member of the genus Arthrobacter; however, computed affinity coefficients do not confirm this genus. Until further studies have been completed on this isolate the authors are reluctant to place it in a generic group.

The dual channel Pierce-Blitzstein photometer (PBPHOT) was productively used at the Flower and Cook Observatory to provide 60 years of study of binary systems and other cosmic objects. We review the history of this instrument, discuss its calibration, and recall some personal and professional interactions with Professor Robert H. Koch.
