복합학제 설계 교과목 운영 사례와 학습효과 분석 (A Case Study of Multidisciplinary Design Course: Focused on Learning Effectiveness of Interdisciplinary Teams)

  • 오늘날 공학도에게는 타 전공자들과 한 팀을 이루어 공동의 프로젝트를 효과적으로 진행해 나갈 수 있는 능력이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 대학에서는 이러한 요구를 충족시키기 위한 방안으로 복합학제 설계교육의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 동국대학교에서 수행하였던 복합학제 설계교육의 사례를 통해 그 효과를 정량적으로 측정하고 분석하여 보았다. 단일전공자로 구성된 팀들과 복합전공자로 구성된 팀들간의 학업성취도를 비교분석한 결과 복합팀의 학업성취도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 설문조사를 통해 학생들은 팀의 의사소통이 프로젝트를 진행하는데 중요한 요소라고 생각하였으며 이러한 결과는 복합학제 설계교육이 더욱 확대될 필요가 있으며 이를 통해 학생들이 사회에 나가기 전 수업을 통해 꾸준히 연습되어야 함을 보여준다.

구성주의적 수업이 초등학생의 탐구능력 및 과학에 관련된 태도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Constructivist Instruction on Science Inquiry Skills and Science-Related Attitudes of Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of constructivist instruction on science inquiry skills and science-related attitudes, and to investigate the students' responses to the lesson using constructivist instruction. In this study, 108 students of sixth graders from four classes were intentionally selected from two elementary schools located in Gyungsan city, Kyungsangbukdo. Two classes of 54 students were used by the constructivist teaching program and the other two classes were handled by the traditional teaching program. Two teachers who have twenty years' careers guided the program prepared by researcher to the students and this examination was conducted for 8 weeks (total 20 class hours). In pretest and posttest, both groups were tested in the science inquiry skills and science-related attitudes. An interview and questionnaire for the students analyzed the responses about the constructivist instruction. The major results of this study are as follows: First, in science inquiry skills test, there was no statistical significance between the score of the experimental group and that of the comparative group(p>.05). The ability of formulating problem in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the comparative group at 0.05 level. In pretest and posttest, the experimental group was statistically significant on classifying, formulating problem, interpreting data, while the comparative group was not significant on those. Second, we can find that the experimental group has more positive effect on forming the desirable science-related attitudes than the comparative group(p<.05). Especially, experimental group is significantly higher the attitudes about the science curriculum than the comparative group at 0.05 level Third, constructivist instruction has more affirmative tendency of the students' learning activity. Constructivist instruction generated much interest and curiosity about science for the students, and this method prompted students' expression and discussion.

문헌정보학 전공자의 경력개발 경로를 통한 유동성 실태연구 (The Mobility and Career Pathes of Alumni of Whose Major in Library and Information Sciences in Korea)

  • 지식기반 사회의 전개와 함께 전통적인 사서업무의 소멸, 새로운 업무의 생성, 분화, 통합을 거치면서 문헌정보 전공자의 경력개발 분야에도 많은 변화가 일어났다. 이에 대한 연구는 현장에 적합하고, 능력있는 인재 개발을 위한 기초연구이다. 각기 특성이 다른 5개 대학 190명의 경력경로를 통하여 문헌정보학 전공자의 직장 이동 분야를 밝혔다. 16개 분야의 186개 직종을 대상으로 하였다. 경력수가 많은 분야는 G.문화예술관련직> C.교육 및 연구관련직> A.경영 및 기획관련직> O.전기/전자 및 정보통신관련직과 J.영업 및 판매관련직 순이다. 특히 사서직 이외의 문화 예술직에서 활약 분야는 미미한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 나아가 교육과정 기간 동안 본인이 습득하는 지식과 기술의 중요성이 경력이동에 많은 영향을 주는 요인이므로 문헌정보학 교육이 시대의 미래를 예견하고, 현장에서 요구하는 지식과 기술을 충실하게 반영하여야 한다는 분석 결과를 도출하였다.

여성 퇴직자의 생애사를 통해서 본 취업 지속 배경에 관한 질적 연구: 교직.공무원직 퇴직자를 중심으로 (Career Sustaining Strategies of Female Retirees in South Korea: A Qualitative Study of Retirees from the Teaching and Public Service Professions)

  • This article attempts to explore how the women retirees under study were able to continue work until retirement. This study used life histories, especially focusing on daily working lives, and uncovered a number of key issues through in-depth interviews. The main results are as follows: Firstly, the women retirees examined here had been raised as highly educated people, and their strong educational background was a base component for them to have relatively secure careers. Their parents had also supported practically the women retirees during their working lives. In addition, the women retirees had to can out the roles of 'provider' for their original families, procreation families or in-law families, even though they were not given the recognized roles of provider. Secondly, the women retirees had a private infra system to support them with housework and child care. In addition, because they were financially able to employ housemaids, the women retirees did not experience conflicts with their husbands, who took on a neo-traditional sex role. Finally, thanks to relatively good working conditions such as having vacations and being able to come to and leave the office on time, the women retirees were able to continue work until retirement no mean feat in a society which openly practiced gender discrimination.

어린이집 교사들의 영양지식과 영양교육에 대한 인식 조사연구 (A Survey of Teachers' Recognition on Nutrition Knowledge and Nutrition Education at Day-care Centers)

  • This study was aimed at knowing the recognition of teachers' nutrition knowledge and nutrition education at day-care centers in Seong-nam. Teachers were all female, most of whom were in the 20, and their careers were less than 3 years. And $76.2\%$ of the teachers graduated from high school and junior college. The score of the nutrition knowledge was average $14.3\pm2.2$ (out of 20). It shows that they are lack of general information of nutrition. As the teachers had higher education, they scored higher nutrition knowledge levels (p < 0.01). It also says that there was meaningful interrelationship between the nutrition knowledge and the number of children they had (p < 0.05). $93\%$ of the teachers said that nutrition education should be given when children are three years old, at least and most of the teachers thought that nutrition education is necessary and should be taught in a separate course. $50.4\%$ of the teachers thought that nutrition education for early childhood should be taught by a nutritionist, but $35.2\%$ of them thought that the teachers themselves should be in charge of it. About $60\%$ of the teachers thought that 'Cooking Activity for Early Childhood' course should be established and it is desirable that the nutrition education should be in the area of cooking activity for childhood at day-care centers. The teachers thought that dietary habit is the most important subject in nutrition education and they got more information from the internet rather than in the class related to nutrition. 분류체계에 관한 인용분석 - 국제서지를 바탕으로 - (A Reference Study on International Literature of Classification Systems During the Period 1981-1990)

  • The present study examines the characteristics of the international literature of classification systems published in the period 1981-1990. The references in the 'Classification Literature' sections of International Classification and the references in these source items were examined. The present study focused on analyzing each of the following characteristics: format, subject, language, geographical origin, age, authorship and number of references. The findings from the data analyses show clearly that in the literature of classification systems, I) books were the most frequently cited format; 2) library and information science was the most frequently cited subject; 3) English was the major language; 4) the literature of each classification system was written predominently in English except for Library Bibliographic Classification; 5) the language of each source item was the same as that of the greatest number of references of that source item: 6) the U.S., Germany, India, Russia, and the U.K. were the major geographic origin of publication; 7) there was a very close relationship between country of publication and language: 8) the country of origin of the documents was cited more than any other country except for the U.S.: 9) Price's Index of the literature revealed that the literature was a soft science and the half-life of the literature was about 7.5 years; 10) there was a preponderance of single authorships; 11) the literature was not a scholarly or scientific literature, according to the average number of references in source items and the percentage of unreferenced items. The findings of this reference study provide a better understanding of the characteristics of the classification systems literature. They prove useful for the collection development and assist classification systems researchers to prepare linguistically for their careers and encourage international communication efforts.

공학적 소양 함양을 위한 비형식 공학교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용 - 국립과학관을 중심으로 (The Development and Application of an Informal Engineering Education Program to Achieve Engineering Literacy)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 형식교육의 틀 밖에서 실현되는 공학교육을 위한 비형식 공학교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 비형식 공학교육 프로그램을 개발하고 타당화하여, 참여자의 프로그램 참여 경험을 논의하였다. 개발된 비형식 공학교육 프로그램은 공학에 관심 있는 고등학생 학습자 90명에게 1박 2일 캠프 형식으로 적용하였고, 개방형 설문 및 심층 인터뷰로 목표 달성 여부를 확인하였다. 비형식 공학교육 프로그램의 목표는 실제 생활에서 공학, 공학 설계의 중요성 및 공학 설계 과정의 원리를 이해할 수 있으며, 다양한 지식과 도구를 활용하여 공학문제를 창의적으로 해결할 수 있도록 하는데 있다. 또한, 실제 사례를 통해 공학자가 하는 일을 이해하고, 자신의 진로를 설계할 수 있으며, 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 동료와의 협업을 통해 공학과 관련된 다양한 이슈를 공유하고 공학 주제에 대한 의사소통 능력을 기를 수 있어야 하는 것을 목표로 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다.

창업 여성CEO의 특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Characteristics of Female Corporate Founders on Managerial Achievements)

  • 본 연구는 창업 여성CEO들을 대상으로 여성CEO의 특성과 경영성과 사이에는 어떤 상관성이 있는지에 대하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 창업 여성CEO의 특성과 역량을 중심으로 하여 선행연구와 기존 문헌을 토대로 여성CEO의 특성요인으로서 경력 특성, 행위적 특성, 역량 특성 등 결정요인을 도출하고 이들 요인과 경영성과와의 관계에 대한 연구모형 과 가설을 설정하고 이를 실증적으로 분석, 검증하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업 여성CEO의 경력 특성과 경영성과간의 관계를 검증한 회귀분석 결과에서는 전공 요인은 유의미한 영향을 미치지만 직장 또는 창업경험 요인은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창업 여성CEO의 행위적 특성과 경영성과 사이에서는 창업동기 요인은 유의미한 영향을 미치지만 실패 가능성이나 위험에 대한 대처 노력 요인은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 창업 여성CEO의 역량 특성과 경영성과에서는 관리적 역량 요인은 유의미한 영향을 미치지만 기업가적 역량 요인과 기술적 역량 요인은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

발명영재 교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 이공계 선호 및 진로의식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of an Invention Program for Gifted Pupils on the Interest of Science-engineering Department and Career Maturity)

  • 이 연구는 발명영재 교육프로그램이 초등학생의 이공계 선호 및 진로의식 변화에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수원시 D초등학교, J초등학교 6학년 영재학급을 대상으로 12차시에 걸쳐 실험집단에게 발명영재 교육 프로그램을 적용하여 실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과 발명영재 교육프로그램 적용에 따른 진로의식 성숙도의 차이는 실험집단이나 통제집단 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 이공계 선호 및 이공계 기피 현상에 대한 인식 변화는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 발명영재 교육프로그램이 초등학생의 진로의식을 높이는 것에는 적합하지 않지만 이공계 선호에 대한 인식 변화에 적합한 것으로 판단된다. 이를 토대로 발명영재 교육프로그램의 내용체계 속에 진로의식을 성숙시켜 줄 수 있는 부분이 포함되어 교육이 이루어져야지만 진정한 발명교육의 목표에 도달할 수 있음을 제언한다.

인천시 초등학교의 급식운영 및 관리와 영양교육실태 (A Study on Food Service Administration and Nutrition Education in Elementary Schools in Inchon)

  • The status of general food service administration and nutrition education was investigated in 111 elementary schools located in Inchon Metropolitan Area by questionnaires. The results are as follows ; 1. Most schools served 5 lunches per week. Meal cost per capita was 1212.1 won in urban type school and 979.0 won in rural type school. Most schools(91.9%) had 1 regular dietitian and 1 regular cook. With increasing number of students the number of temporary employees increased significantly. Most school dietitians(86.5%) were in their twenties and had 2 year careers. 2. Most dietitians(90.1%) planned the menu based on the RDA with the first consideration in nutritional needs of the students. Many dietitians(81.8%) surveyed on the food preferences of the students at least once a year. About 86% of the schools had the food service committee which was helpful. Dietitians were the first one in charge of food purchasing and checking, and sometimes a manager in general school affairs worked together. One third of the schools used the volunteer parents in food services. 3. Most school dietitians(97.2%) gave the students nutrition education using handouts once a week. However, they could not teach the students through the classroom lecture because they are not the regular teachers. Food garbages were removed by the professional trash collecting company or by using fermentation machines or by giving them to animals as feeds. School events concerning the food and nutrition were mostly drawing pictures and composition. Only 36.4% of the school dietitians had experienced in nutrition counseling for an individual student. Most of them(99.1%) thought that individual counseling is necessary if they have enough time and chances to do.
