  • The accelerated pace of change in the business environment and the advent of new information and communication technologies since the onset of the pandemic have had a profound impact on the way in which work is conducted. These developments are also affecting the nature of secretarial roles, with the adoption of digital workplaces rendering online-based work that transcends physical time and space the norm. The role of the secretary is also undergoing a transformation, with the capacity to utilize digital technology and communicate in person emerging as crucial competencies. The objective of this study is to provide an exploratory account of the evolving work environment and the newly required competencies of secretaries in the digital workplace. The research methodology comprised in-depth interviews with current assistants, the objective of which was to explore the cultural, spatial, technological, and workplace changes and the new competencies required. The study revealed that the role of secretaries in the digital workplace is undergoing a significant transformation. This is characterised by a decline in traditional face-to-face work, an increased reliance on digital platforms, and the digitisation of information management. The competencies deemed essential for success in this evolving environment include digital literacy, proficiency in text-based communication, the ability to maintain a consistent attitude towards online and offline work, and the capacity to adapt to new situations. The findings of this study contribute to the academic understanding of the digital workplace for secretaries and provide a useful basis for the development of practical secretarial education and career development programs. Furthermore, this study aims to provide a more comprehensive examination of secretarial work in the digital workplace and to identify areas where secretaries may require additional support.

Particularly in this study, the depersonalized behaviors were defined as aggressive or rude verbal and behavioral outbursts from anger. As a result of this study, the following results were found: Most workers have medium level of perception on their commitment and burnout, but there. are some risk factors; newly married young workers were less satisfied or fairly rewarded with their job and as a result, they have significantly higher level of emotional weariness but lower feeling of personal accomplishments. In addition, they occasionality practiced aggressive or rude behaviors such as yelling, threatening, and physically harassing As for the influence of determining variables, long-time workers of long established facilities were more satisfied and less burnout. In addition, there are some impacts of job category; health practitioners were more burnout than social workers. In this study, suggestions are made as follows: first, guiding and settlement programs should be developed for the newly started young married workers, particularly at early stage of their career. Second, future aspects of facility visions should be guided for the workers, so that they are relieved from stressful routines without any future plan. Third, medical workers such as physical therapists and nurses should be further monitored for main reasons of increasing their stress.

  • This study aims to investigate the characteristics of Lee Kyo-Won's landscape architecture and add to the literature in this field. Also, the current status of and issues in landscape design will be dealt with through the lens of the individual landscape architect's worts. By adopting a critical analysis, this study will look closely into the background of his career and ideas regarding landscape design. The inherent nature of his coherent style in landscape design will be listed as follows: total design, design-build systems, experimentation with new kinds of plants and materials, and the pursuit of minimalism. His design domain covers various elements such as paving, street lamps, and clock towers, among others. He was often involved in managing outdoor sculpture and he also provided the total packaging of the design-build systems for most of his landscape projects. These are the main reasons why his landscape works can maintain their high end quality; through his craftsmanship, a fine quality of detail was achieved in his landscape design. This tell us the possible options that can be adopted such as landscape architectural design management or landscape architectural turn-key systems, which differ from the prevailing dual system between design and construction. However, his own particular system can not be replicated in ordinary situations because contemporary practices require us to coordinate the various stakeholders concerned in the decision-making process of the design. In general, it is fair to say that we can give him the credit for enhancing the status of landscape design as an independent, specialized field.

The results were as follows: First, the higher childcare teachers' intention to change jobs, the lower was their monthly income, age, and career level, and the total number of children that they had to serve. Second, there were significant positive correlations between childcare teachers' intention to change jobs and their innovative, collective, and rational organizational culture. Further, there were significant negative correlations between childcare teachers' intention to change jobs and hierarchical organizational culture. and between childcare teachers' intention to change jobs and their job satisfaction. Finally, childcare teachers' intention to change jobs was found to be 46% about job satisfaction and organizational culture and was explained the most by the director's childcare center management. This study primarily suggests that a director's role is important in the lowering of childcare teacher's intention to change jobs.

  • Purpose : This study examines The impact of human resource investment in internal control on stock price crash risk. Effective internal control ensures that information provided is complete and accurate, financial statements are reliable. By overseeing management, internal control systems can reduce agency costs between management and outside parties. In Korea, firms have to disclose information about internal control systems. The working experience of human resources in internal control systems is also provided for interested parties. If a firm hires more experienced internal control personnel, it can better facilitate the disclosure of information. Prior studies reported that information asymmetry between managers and investors increases future stock price crash risk. Therefore, the longer working experience internal control personnel have, the lower probability stock crashes have. Research design, data and methodology : This study analyzed the association between the working experience of internal control personnel and crash risk using regression analysis on KOSPI listed companies for fiscal years 2016 through 2017. The sample consists of 1,034 firm-years of non-financial firms whose fiscal year end on December 31. Career spanning data of internal control personnel was collected from internal control reports. The professionalism(IC_EXP) was measured as the logarithm of the average working experience of internal control personnel in months. Negative conditional skewness(NSKEW) and down-to-up volatility (DUVOL) are used to measure firm-specific crash risk. Both measures are based on firm-specific weekly returns derived from the expanded market model. Results : We find that work experience in internal control environment is negatively related to stock price crashes. Specifically, skewness(NSKEW) and volatility (DUVOL) are reduced when firms have longer tenure of human resources in internal control division. The results imply that firms with experienced internal control personnel are less likely to experience stock price crashes. Conclusions : Stock price crashes occur when investors realize that stock prices have been inflated due to information asymmetry. There is a learning effect when internal control processes are done repetitively. Thus, firms with more experienced internal control personnel could manage their internal control more effectively. The results of this study suggest that firms could decrease information asymmetry by investing in human resources for their internal control system.
