청소년의 부정적 정서 및 사회적 지지와 진로성숙도 간의 관계 (The Relationships Between Negative Affect, Social Support, and Career Maturity Among Adolescents)

  • Objective: This study examined the relationships between negative affect, social support, and career maturity among adolescents. Methods: The participants in this study comprised 260 $1^{th}$ junior high school students in a Seoul metropolitan area. They completed questionnaires on level of negative affect, social support, and career maturity. Data were analyzed by means of basic descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, and multiple and hierarchical regression analyses. Aiken and West's method was used to determine the interactive model's modality. Results: The major findings were as follows: First, negative affect was negatively correlated with social support and career maturity. Social support was positively correlated with career maturity. Second, significant interaction effects were found between negative affect and social support on career maturity; that is, for male students, significant interaction effects were found between negative affect and social support (parent support) on career maturity (career determinacy/career independence). For female students, significant interaction effects were found between negative affect and social support (peer support) on career maturity (career confidence/career readiness/career determinacy/career independence). Conclusion: These results suggest the need to intervene in relation to social support (parent support/peer support) and to improve career maturity among adolescents.

무용전공 대학생들의 진로결정 기효능감과 사회적 지지가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy and Social Support of University Students Majoring Dance on Career Preparation Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 무용학과에 재학 중인 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 사회적 지지가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구로 수도권지역 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 무용전공자 300명을 연구대상으로 SPSS 24.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 자료 분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 무용전공 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 사회적 지지는 진로준비행동에 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 진로결정 자기효능감의 하위요인은 진로준비행동에 대해 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 사회적 지지의 하위요인은 평가적 지지를 제외한 정보적 지지, 정서적 지지, 물질적 지지는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 진로결정 자기효능감과 사회적 지지의 총점은 진로준비행동에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결론은 무용학과 대학생들의 진로결정에 대한 자기효능감은 진로 준비행동에 매우 긍정적으로 진로준비행동의 수준을 더욱 높이기 위해서는 전공에 대한 정보와 관련된 경험의 기회가 주어질 수 있는 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구가 이루어지길 기대한다.

조직지원인식이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향: 경력계획의 매개효과 검증 (The Effect of Perceived Organizational Support on Subjective Career Success: The Mediating Effect of Career Planning)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to identify the relations among perceived organizational support, career planning, and subjective career success (career satisfaction and job satisfaction). In particular, this study focuses on the mediating effect on the career planning between perceived organization and subjective career success. The target cases are employees of a Korean branch of a global company (A), which operates formal career program to support a career development for employees. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from December, 2014 to March, 2015. 211 out of 300 questionnaires were returned (response rate 70.3%). After the data cleaning, 209 questionnaires were used for the data analysis. These data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM). The whole process of the data analysis was accomplished using the SPSS 21.0 for windows and the AMOS 21 program. Results - The findings of the study are as follows: First, the better the organizational support is perceived, the higher career satisfaction and job satisfaction is. That is, the employees' career and job satisfaction is higher, when they feel themselves received more supporting. Second, perceived organizational support has a positive impact on employees' career planning. This result means that it is important to support employees in their career development. Third, career planning has a positive impact on career satisfaction, but not on job satisfaction. Lastly, it is verified that career planning has a mediating effect between the perceived organizational support and career satisfaction. Not only has the perception of an organizational support a direct impact on career satisfaction, but also an indirect impact through career planning. However, there is not an indirect relationship through career planning, just an direct relationship between the perception of an organizational support and job satisfaction Conclusions - Based on the findings of this study, the major conclusion of the study was as follows: The study provides theoretical values and practical implications for the fact that the differences of the subjective perception about organizational support exist among employees, and the differences have an impact on their career planning as well as subjective career success. Furthermore, some recommendations for workplace were suggested: The companies should support the career development for employees in organization level. Even though employment instability makes individual workers themselves to be responsible for their own career development, it is an important issue in organizational level that employees' career success could have positive effects on organizational development and success, as well. However, there is a limit in the study that analyzing results cannot be generalized due to the data from a single company. Some recommendations for future research are suggested: First, a comparative study should be conducted with other various companies. Second, a hierarchical analyzing model needs to be applied to substantiate how organizational context influences on subjective career success of employees.

청소년의 진로준비행동에 관한 연구 : 진로태도, 직업가치관, 사회적지지 (The Influence of Adolescent's Career Attitude, Occupation Value, and Social Support on Career Preparation Behavior)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of demographic, occupation value, career attitude, and social support on high school students' career preparation behavior. The data was collected from the Korean Survey on of the Career and occupation of Youth in 2009(N=3,499). Descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, T-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed on SPSS 17.0. The results of this study are as follows: first, career preparation behavior according to gender was much higher for female students than male students. There were statistically significant differences in career preparation behavior according to school years. The first year students' perception in of career preparation behavior was higher than the second, and third year students. The first year students' perception in of career preparation behavior was higher than second, and third year students. Second, career preparation behavior had a significant correlations with work value, career attitude, family support, and school support. Third, this study demonstrated that career decisiveness and family support was a strong factor in career preparation behavior. In addition, among all factors, the career decisiveness of career attitude was proved to be the most influential factor on career preparation behavior. The study discusses practical implications for career education programs.

The Effects of Social Support Perceived by Career-interrupted Women On Career Preparation Behavior: Focus on Mediating Effects of Career Decision Self-efficacy

  • 본 연구는 경력단절여성들의 인식을 바탕으로 진로에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 사회적 지지와 진로결정자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향과 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 여성취업지원기관에서 직업훈련에 참여하고 있거나 구직등록을 한 경력단절여성 227명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문조사법을 이용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경력단절여성들이 인식한 사회적 지지는 진로결정자기효능감과 진로준비행동에 유의미한 상관관계로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지의 하위요인 중 정서적 지지가 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 진로결정자기효능감의 하위요인 중 목표설정과 직업정보는 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 사회적 지지와 진로준비행동의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 경력단절여성들을 대상으로 진로지도 시 기술적인 측면보다 심리적 측면을 더 중요하게 다루어야 함을 시사해 준다.

The Structural Relationship between Parental Career and Care Support for Multicultural Youth and Teacher Relations, Career Preparation and Career Determination

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다문화청소년의 진로결정성을 규명하기 위해 부모의 진로·양육지원과 교사관계의 영향력을 분석하고, 부모의 진로·양육지원과 교사관계 사이에서 진로준비성의 매개효과의 영향력을 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위해 다문화청소년패널조사(MAPS) 데이터 중 2017년 자료(7차년도)를 활용하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 다문화청소년 부모의 진로·양육지원, 교사관계, 진로준비성은 진로결정성에 직접적으로 유의한 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화청소년의 진로결정성 과정에 개인 내부적 맥락요인인 진로준비의 상대적 영향력의 중요성도 확인되었다. 셋째, 다문화청소년 부모의 진로·양육지원이 높아질수록, 교사관계가 긍정적일수록 진로결정성은 상승하는 것으로 분석되었다. 진로 준비성은 다문화청소년 부모의 진로·양육지원과 교사관계를 진로결정성에 매개해 주는 역할을 확인하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 다문화청소년의 진로결정성을 높일 수 있는 실천적 대안을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of social support and, career decision-making self-efficacy on career maturity of adolescents of different gender and grades. Further, it aims to provide basic information for career maturity to create career educational program for adolescents. The participants of the study were 447 middle and high school students who were selected from second grade of five schools in Daegu. All participants were tested on social support, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity scale. The results were analyzed using two-way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis with SPSS 18.0. The results of the present research are summarized as follows: first, the results of the ANOVA subscales revealed that there were significant gender and grade main effects and interaction effects of social support, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity. Second, the results of the correlation analysis among of the social support, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity showed a positive and negative correlation. Third, in terms of the influence of social support, career decision-making self-efficacy had a significant meaningful influence on career maturity. The results of this study can be used as a fundamental reference in career counseling at school for enhancing adolescent's career development and success.

교육대학생의 진로준비행동과 부모의 사회적 지지, 진로결정자기효능감 및 진로성숙의 관계 (The Relationship between the Career Preparation Behavior, Parental Social Support, Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy, and the Career Maturity of the Pre-Service Elementary School Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify a causal relationship in the career preparation behavior, parental social support, career decision making self-efficacy and the career maturity of the pre-service elementary school teachers. A total of 374 questionnaires were used for data analysis, excluding the 23 copies deemed insincere in response. To ensure the reliability and validity of the questions, technical statistics of the frequency, ratio, average, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis via PASW 18.0, item-total correlation, the totality, and the reliability analysis. The structural analysis via AMOS 7.0 in the bootstrapping method was undertaken to perform the path analysis among the variables and to assess the suitability of the model. The findings of the study led to the following conclusions: First, the causal model for the career preparation behavior, parental social support, career decision making self-efficacy, and the career maturity of the pre-service elementary school teachers is suitable to empirical analysis on research variables. Second, the career decision making self-efficacy of pre-service elementary teachers has direct effect on career preparation behavior positively. Third, parental social support of the pre-service elementary teachers has indirect effects on the career preparation behavior positively.

특성화고 고졸청년층의 진로준비 및 진로성숙이 취업에 미치는 영향 연구 (Study of the effect of career preparation and career maturity on employment among Specialized high school graduates)

  • 특성화고 졸업자들이 취업을 하는데 중요한 요소는 무엇인가? 특히 특성화고의 각종 취업지원정책과 더불어 학교에서 실시하고 있는 각종 시설 및 교과지원, 직업능력지원, 진로지도, 취업지원 등의 프로그램과 개인이 하는 진로준비행동, 직업탐색행동, 이에 따른 진로성숙도의 증가는 취업에 과연 영향을 미치는 것인가? 이를 위해 먼저 학교에서 실시되고 있는 프로그램 등의 학교지원만족도, 가정에서 실시한 진로준비행동, 취업 전의 예비적 직업탐색행동, 이에 따른 진로성숙도 등을 주요변수로 하여 구조모형을 설정하고 분석하였다. 분석결과, 학교지원만족도는 진로성숙도, 가정에서의 진로준비행동 등에 유의미한 영향관계를 보여주고 있고 직접적으로 취업에 영향을 미치거나 간접적으로 취업에 영향을 미치게 된다. 다음으로 가정에서의 진로준비행동은 직접적으로 취업에 영향을 주며 예비적 직업탐색행동과 진로성숙도를 높이게 된다. 특히, 가정에서의 진로준비행동은 예비적 직업탐색행동을 통해 취업을 높이는 중요한 요인으로 확인되었다. 다음으로 성별에 따른 변인간의 영향관계를 본 결과, 학교지원만족도는 취업을 직접적으로 높이고 여성의 경우가 더 높게 나타나, 양질의 학교지원프로그램을 강화하되 특히 여성에 맞는 취업지원프로그램도 개발, 지원할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학교지원만족도가 높으면 여성은 가정에서의 진로준비행동을 잘 하는 것으로 나타났는데 여성이 가정에서 갖는 진로에 대한 대화 등 진로준비활동은 남성과 달리 취업에 중요한 요인이 되고 있어 여성의 경우 학부모를 대상으로 하는 지원프로그램들을 마련할 필요가 있음이 제기되었다.

  • This study proposes the requirements for students in colleges majoring in fashion at two-year colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do to perform behaviors in preparation for a further career more effectively by identifying the impact of social support on the career decision-making self-efficacy, and behaviors preparing a further career. The results of this study are described below. In accordance with the analysis on the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and behaviors preparing a further career, and the social support, the social support had a positive impact on the career decision-making self-efficacy and a negative impact on the behaviors preparing a further career. Moreover, the career decision-making self-efficacy had a positive impact on the behaviors preparing a further career. In accordance with the analysis, social support from family members or relevant third parties is required for improving the behavior of students majoring fashion in colleges to prepare a further career. To this end, the quantity or scope of social support is not the main issue, but the meticulous approach to fit each student's need for making students recognize such social support. It is important for students in colleges to enhance career decision-making self-efficacy by accurately identifying their abilities, values or desires.
