정면 오프셋 충돌시 가스튜브를 이용한 차량용 범퍼의 손상성, 수리성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Damageability and Repairability of the Car Bumper Systems with Gas Tube)

  • The car crash accidents in low speed occurs most frequently. Damage on a conventional bumper after the car accident causes the bumper to get fixed most of time. This study shows how a gas tube bumper reduces a damageability and increase repairability after the car accidents. The 15 km/h 40% offset front and rear crash test recommended by RCAR (Research council for automobile repairs) standard was performed and evaluated damages on the gas tube bumper by the pendulum impact tester. In this study, the gas tube bumper reduces damageability and increases repairability after car crash accidents. In addition, car frame design to apply the gas tube bumper may consider to be changed.

  • Today, the industries use polymer material for many purpose. Specially, it is important in automobile industry because tile costs of polymer hold high proportion of the overall cost. If we reduce the weight of automobile, fuel efficiency of car is raised and cost of bumper is lower. Therefore there are many efforts to reduce of car currently. The purpose of this paper is to reduce polymer used in car bumper.

고고범퍼카 프로젝트 기반의 정보영재반 수업에서 나타나는 컴퓨팅 사고 패턴 분석 (Analysis of Computing Thinking Patterns revealed in Gifted Information Classroom Teaching based on a GoGo Bumper Car Project)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 수학정보 영재반 수업에서 고고보드를 사용하여 고고범퍼카의 조립 과정 및 고고모니터 명령어로 고고범퍼카를 제어하는 활동을 분석하여 강사와 참여 학생 사이의 상호작용적 활동과 컴퓨팅 사고 패턴을 질적으로 탐구하는 것이다. 연구자는 연구참여자(로봇 강사 및 참여 학생) 2명을 대상으로 2013년 7월 말에 이틀 동안 고고범퍼카 프로젝트 수업을 비디오로 촬영하였다. 그리고 그 이후에 진우를 대상으로 2013년 11월과 2014년 1월 사이에 별도의 후속 면담과 비디오 회상면담을 3회 실시하여 고고범퍼카 프로젝트 수행 과정에 관한 자료를 보완적으로 수집하였다. 비디오 및 면담 자료와 산출물인 고고모니터 코드를 분석한 결과 연구자는 고고범퍼카 프로젝트의 수행 활동에서 나타나는 컴퓨팅 사고의 전개 양상을 포착하였다. 참여 학생은 고고보드 부품 사용과 고고모니터 코딩 활동에서 로봇 강사와의 상호작용을 통하여 종종 숙고하면서 자신이 생각하는 바에 해당되는 명령어의 조합을 배열하면서 수정과 테스트를 순환적으로 하는 컴퓨팅 사고의 전개 패턴을 보여주었다.

  • The present low speed crash regulations and RCAR test for insurance estimate do not tend to reflect car crash occurred on a road. Therefore, car makers are trying to readjust test standard be similar to a real situation. Passenger cars and SUV vehicles on the market will be subject to this study for car to car crash. In addition, we will discuss improvement of test methods for a low speed crash and direction of bumper design by performing this impact analysis.

  • Obstacle Detection System(ODS) is a essential system for automated vehicle, such as AGV(Automatic Guided Vehicle), mobile robot. Automated vehicle must have a capability to detect and to avoid obstacles to guarantee a safe driving condition. To implement obstacle detection system, virtual bumper concept adapted. Like real bumper in a car, such as in the truck, it protects vehicle from collision using laser distance sensor. When an obstacle(such as other vehicle, building, etc) intrudes this virtual bumper area, a virtual force is calculated and produces necessary strategy to be able to avoid collision. In this paper, simplified virtual bumper concept is presented, and various problems when happens to implement are discussed.

저속충돌시험을 통한 차량용 가스튜브범퍼의 복원수리비 절감효과에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Repairing Cost Down Effects of the Car Bumper Systems with Gas tube in a Low Speed Crash Test)

  • We have found that the damage of the front part for a vehicle and that of the rear part for a vehicle are the majority of frequency experienced by the traffic accidents. In conventional bumper system was designed by safety standard regulation at low speed crash. For example there are 2.5 mile and 5 mile bumper. The conventional bumper system was the crash from max 5.5 mile to 3 mile low speed occurs most frequently and results in the highest rate of repairing cost in statistically. On this study, in order to check the damageability and repairability of gas tube bumper system RCAR 15 km/h 40 % offset frontal crash test was adopted in low speed and we have a gas tube bumper parts test and vehicle test with gas tube bumper, we can find gas tube bumper system definitely can improve the damageability and repairability of the vehicles and contribute to down the repairing cost.

  • Bumper back beam is one of the essential structural components of front-end module. It should be designed to withstand a minor bump in low-speed collision, 2.5 mph crash test for example. And weight reduction is always important problem in the design of almost all the parts in car for energy saving. So, the key issues in shape design of a bumper are weight reduction and the performance in 2.5mph crash test. In this study, a light weight and high performance bumper back beam model was developed using analytical approach based on mechanics and FE simulation together.

  • 이 연구는 신개발 범퍼의 충격흡수성능 시험기준을 적용하여 재활용 범퍼의 충격흡수성능을 실험하고, 재활용 범퍼의 성능 특성을 비교한 것이다. 본 연구에서 적용된 범퍼는 유형이 다른 두 종류의 승용차 외장 범퍼를 선정하여 2종류의 재활용 범퍼를 자동차 안전 기준에 따라 충격흡수성능을 시험하였다. 재활용 범퍼의 충격 흡수성능 실험 결과 2.5마일 범퍼 충격 성능 특성은 동일한 차종의 신품 범퍼의 충격 성능 및 흡수 성능 특성과 거의 동등수준의 충격 성능 특성을 나타내었다.

  • The automotive front bumper guard is the most important part of the vehicle for protecting the life of driver when a traffic accident happens. In order to ensure safe driving, this part must possess sufficient strength and durability. This study was carried out with structural and fatigue analyses by designing front bumper guard models. After the lowest value for maximum total deformation and equivalent stress was found through structural analysis and the highest value for fatigue life was found for all three models, it was shown that the type C front bumper guard model was the most suitable for application to a real car. The strength property and durability of the optimum design were determined through this study's results.
