3D PLM 시스템을 이용한 F-125 차량의 개발 (Development of an F-125 Machine Using 3D PLM Systems)

  • This paper introduces a project for the development of an F-125 machine using 3D PLM systems including 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, PDM, and DMU systems. Here, the F-125 machine is a formula racing car equipped with a 125cc motorcycle engine. A development process and computer-integrated environment was established using 3D PLM systems on the conceptual basis of concurrent and virtual engineering. A DMU model for a full vehicle was built using CATIA V.5 and used to check interference between parts and to simulate assembly process. This DMU-based approach enables to find and fix manufacturing problems in the early design stage. All development activities have been done by the graduate and undergraduate students of the automotive engineering department of Kookmin University. Through the project, the students could acquire knowledge about car development process and 3D PLM systems in automotive industry.

직교배열표를 이용한 승용차 에어백의 설계 (An Airbag Design for the Safety of an Occupant using the Orthogonal Array)

  • The safety analysis becomes very essential in the crash environment with the growth of automobile industry. Recently, an airbag system is required to protect the occupant. The effects of an airbag can be evaluated exactly from the barrier or sled test which is quite expensive. The airbag system in a passenger car is analyzed with the occupant analysis program. The modeling of the passenger car including an airbag is established and the results are verified by comparisons with real crash tests. However, the solution of an airbag design can not be obtained easily with the conventional method such as an optimization due to the nonlinearity and complexity of the problem. An iterative design algorithm using the orthogonal array is proposed to overcome the difficulties. The design trend of an airbag is recommended to minimize the injury of an occupant with the proposed design algorithm and the results are discussed.

  • Accelerated life testing of a car is used to get information quickly on its life distribution. Test cars are no under severe conditions and fail sooner than under usual conditions. A model is fitted to the accelerated failure times and then extrapolated to estimate the life distribution under usual conditions. This paper presents an accelerated test md the reliability growth theory, and applies it to some subsystems of cars during their prototype and pilot testing. The data presented illustrates explicitly the prediction of the reliability growth in the product development cycle. The application of these techniques is a part of the product assurance function that plays an important role in product reliability improvement.

  • As car industry takes the DMB, geographical feature information and Internet service recently, the need of an electricity energy is the trend to increase. But existing 12V car electricity system is difficult to be satisfied rapidly increasing electricity need. A relation component company is adding the spur at a high electricity system development. In this paper we accomplished the hi-directional DC-DC Converter for high electricity system composed 42V configuration device. Through a simulation experiment, We looked into the control method and the operation characteristic of the circuit, We accomplished the comparison analysis for fit topoloy selection.

  • 본 논문은 폐차제도가 도입${\cdot}$시행된 초기부터 현업에 종사하면서 현재 우리나라에서 행해지고 있는 폐자동차의 회수${\cdot}$처리 및 재활용 실태조사를 통하여 파악${\cdot}$작성된 자료${\cdot}$통계를 기본토대로 하여 준비되었다. 이외에도 지난 수년간 국내 자동차제작사를 위시한 환경관련학회 등의 폐차관련 연구보고서를 참고하였으며 또 외국의 폐차제도와 재활용 실태에 대한 자료와 현지방문을 통하여 수집된 자료와 본인이 기 발표한 폐차실태보고서를 적극 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결론을 얻기 위하여 현 폐차실태를 먼저 파악${\cdot}$분석하고 그 문제점을 도출한 후 우리 실정에 맞는 개선방안을 모색해나가는 귀납법적 연구방법을 채택하였다.

  • In this paper, CAN(Controller Area Network)is used to solve the wire harness problem in the outside mirror of automobile which has a lot of functions in narrow space. If the number of wires is reduced, it has benefits of lower product cost and maintenance. CAN was originally developed by the German company Robert Bosch for use in the car industry to provide a cost-effective communications bus for in car electronics and as alternative to expensive and cumbersome wiring looms. CAN controller is a serial communication protocol which efficiently supports distributed real-time control with a very high level of security. The communication between master CAN controller and slave CAN controller is realized and controller's performance is tested by experiment.

  • The environmental regulation of a product is a global trend. The environmental regulation directives such as RoHS, WEEE, ELV and REACH have impacted Korean export-oriented auto parts manufacturer and affects the export of the product to aboard. In electronics manufacture and auto parts manufacturer, there are different systems for environmental regulation compliance. Nowadays the automotive mechatronics parts in a car are increasing. The HEV and intelligent car will need more mechatronics parts. It is necessary to apply the environmental regulation system of electronics to the automotive parts. In this paper, we proposed the application of PDX standard used in electronic industry to the BOM of the auto parts manufactures and showed an example of generated BOM for selected auto part using PDX. The PDX-based BOM can be used for the recording of environmental substances of the automotive mechatronics part and help the collaboration across auto parts manufactures in accordance with environmental regulation.

The Impact of COVID-19 on Stock Price: An Application of Event Study Method in Vietnam

  • Vietnam's Oil and gas industry make a significant contribution to the Gross Domestic Product of Vietnam. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has hit every industry hard, but perhaps the one industry which has taken the biggest hit is the global oil and gas industry. The purpose of this article is to examine how the COVID-19 pandemic affects the share price of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry. The event study method applied to Oil and Gas industry index data around three event days includes: (i) The date Vietnam recognized the first patient to be COVID-19 positive was January 23, 2020; (ii) The second outbreak of COVID-19 infection in the community began on March 6, 2020; (iii) The date (30/3/2020) when Vietnam announced the COVID-19 epidemic in the whole territory. This study found that the share price of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry responded positively after the event (iii) which is manifested by the cumulative abnormal return of CAR (0; 3] = 3.8% and statistically significant at 5 %. In the study, event (ii) has the most negative and strong impact on Oil and Gas stock prices. Events (i) favor negative effects, events (iii) favor positive effects, but abnormal return change sign quickly from positive to negative after the event date and statistically significant shows the change on investors' psychology.

부동액 함유량과 냉각수 종류에 따른 자동차 엔진 성능분석 (Automotive Engine Performance Analysis of antifreeze content and water type)

  • 세계 자동차 산업은 지난 100여년간의 내연기관의 시대에서 환경, 에너지 그리고 IT기술들이 접목된 친환경, 첨단자동차의 시대로 변모해가고 있다. 지금까지 자동차의 연구는 새로운 기술에 대한 연구 및 개발에 주력해 왔다. 자동차의 새로운 기술개발도 중요한 사항이지만, 최첨단 기술이 적용된 자동차 이전에 이미 사용되어지고 있는 자동차의 성능 및 환경개선 문제도 중요한 시점이 되었다. 새로운 기술개발 뿐 만아니라 기존의 기술에 대한 효과적인 적용 또한 중요한 사항이다. 부동액 기술 또한 자동차 기술의 중요한 부분이다. 본 연구는 부동액의 효과적인 적용을 위하여 자동차 엔진 냉각수에 함유된 부동액의 함유량과 냉각수의 종류(수돗물, 증류수, 지하수)에 따라 자동차 엔진 온도와 성능에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 원인을 규명하는 실험적 연구이다. 냉각수의 어는점 -10, -20, -30, -40, $-50^{\circ}C$에서 다이나모 성능시험과 수치해석을 실시하였다. 냉각수(증류수) 어는점 $-10^{\circ}C$에서 측정 기준점에서 최고 성능 71.112, 99.622hp를 나타냈다.

  • LMTT(Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology)는 항만 자동화를 위한 컨테이너 터미널용 수평 이송 장치이며, rail과 shuttle car(mover)에 부착된 stator module로 구성된 PMLSM(Permanent Magnetic Linear Synchronous Motor)에 의해 구동된다. 본 논문은 inner beam과 outer beam의 높이비가 LMTT용 shuttle car의 frame 강도 및 강성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 설계변수는 inner beam의 단면형상 및 높이비로 설정하였으며, 유한요소해석을 통하여 설계변수가 frame의 강도 및 강성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다.
