In this study, we performed the psychological analysis on campus facilities for university students with the observation that the evaluation on the physical environment of the campus is related to the image evaluation of the campus users. Specifically, we investigated the cognitive structure and the image evaluation structure of users, i.e., students, on the architectural and morphological elements of campus buildings. The investigation results are summarized as follows. 1) The cognitive structure of students on the architectural and morphological elements was different from building to building. In the case of architectural elements, the campus buildings were rated high, if they were designed with emphasis on symbolic elements, while the campus buildings with simple design were rated low. However, the morphological elements exhibited the opposite results. 2) We extracted six factors by performing the factor analysis for image evaluation. From the analysis results, we found that students showed a different structure of image evaluation for each building. In addition, the image evaluation structures were found to be related with the cognitive structures on architectural and morphological elements. 3) We also performed the correlation analysis between image evaluation structure and cognitive structure on architectural and morphological aspects. The analysis results indicated that each building showed different correlation patterns. In addition, the overall image became better, as they appraised "clarity" and "uniformity" more highly.

Elements of atmospheric environment, temperature, humidity and wind, at the compus of KNU(Kyungpook National University) were investigated by the observations. The observed data were compared with those of DWS (Daegu Weather Station). The simulations of wind field and dispersions of polluted gases were conducted by MUKLIMO under the various conditions. The results show that the atmospheric environment of KNU are suitable but the campus does not play role as a heat sink in the city. The simulations of wind field show the air flows and wind channels in the campus clearly. The exhausted gases by motor vehicles on the northside street of campus affect very much to the campus with $NW(300^{\circ})$ wind. The running cars in the campus are also pollute much on the campus with the various wind directions. The characteristics of environmental conditions, various meteorological fields, wind channels, and dispersion of exhausted gases at the campus of KNU were understood quantitatively in the study.
As increasing the usefulness of wireless communication, there are developing the environment of ubiquitous that is combined the network of wireless and wire communication combinate type in various filed and in this network environment, u-campus constructions, based on ubiquitous sensor network, is developing. u-Campus is the new type campus which applies to ubiquitous computer technology and wireless network one. at this thesis, it is designed u-campus construction using zigbee technology with u-campus basic technology. u-Campus service, being subject to zigbee wireless communication skills, presents the members an convenient service using zigbee network.
Smart Learning has been spreaded rapidly to the education and industry fields. Especially, Smart Learning of the university and Smart Campus are the focus of attention of the knowledge based age, because university education play a core role for lifetime education and has largest ripple effect. This article is exploring on the concept and realization conditions of 'Smart Campus'. We think, Smart Campus is an alternative solution for the continuous development of university education in the smart time. In this context, this paper will review the prior studies of Smart Learning, U-Learning and Smart Campus, and study the concept and realization conditions of 'Smart Campus'.
In the ubiquitous which is rapidly developing with ultra speed these days, constructing the u-Campus which is using the sensor-network as its base is keep developing. Also, any information related equipments like PC and mobile, computing is possible whenever and wherever you want and due to the development of the wireless network, the service environment is continually developing. In this article, I'd like to suggest the u-Campus which is very suitable to the user's environment which had used application of mobile. In u-Campus, various techniques are adopted and applied along with development of info-communication related technidques. Especially, the new type of campus which is constructed by adopting the ubiquitous computing net-work technique to the campus of university is the u-Campus. In this article, by suggesting u-Yuhan designing methods, more effective and advanced school activities of students to make possible.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of adaptation of dental hygiene department students to campus life, and to provide basic data to prepare management strategies for effective campus life adaptation. Methods: Three hundred students in the department of dental hygiene in Busan Metropolitan City and Gyeonggi Province were surveyed from October 1 to October 30, 2020 and 291 questionnaires were used in the final data analysis. Results: Better adaptation to campus life was observed in subjects who participated in club activities, possessed an extrovert personality, were well adapted to the dental hygiene department, and had no conflict in interpersonal relationships, thereby showing a significant difference. Regarding the factors affecting the degree of satisfaction with the department, the higher the degree of satisfaction in the major, excellence in major, and coping ability, the higher was the degree of satisfaction with the department. Conclusions: For effective campus life adaptation of the university students as a way to increase the degree of satisfaction with the department, increasing the ability to adapt to campus life through achievement of pride in the major and participation in various interpersonal activities is a possibility. This study was undertaken to compare meal skipping, snacking, and weight perceptions between students on-campus living alone and off-campus living with parents, in an urban college in the United States. The self-report survey was completed by 219 college students (on-campus=100, off-campus=119) between April and May 2012. Two-thirds (67%) of the respondents skipped at least one meal in the past week, and most participants showed strong desires to lose weight despite their normal/under-weight status. Significant differences between the two groups were obtained for the reason to skip a meal and the type of snack consumed. Compared to on-campus students, significantly higher values were obtained for off-campus students for choosing 'no time to prepare' as a meal skipping reason for lunch and dinner, and 'sweets' as a preferred snack. In addition to the group comparison, multiple regression results indicate that the body mass index (BMI) positively correlates with meal skipping and snacking frequencies. Younger students and female students were determined to have a higher frequency of meal skipping and morning snacking. Future research is required to study the dietary factors associated with living arrangements, to help college students develop healthy eating habits.

The concept of Green campus has recently become an issue with the fact that universities are classified as energy gluttons. This study clearly defines the meaning of domestic green campus, and explores the operating system of green campus and related associations. Then, it draws implications from the case of Harvard University. For the research, reports and research papers of the University are examined thoroughly, and detailed information were confirmed through visiting to the official home page and emails with authorities. The green campus support institutions of the United States are making efforts to integrate overlapping functions and create a synergy effect through internal interchange and information exchange, and substantive collaboration. Also, it is drawing active participation from students and faculties of American universities by publicizing and raising various methods of funding to manage them. The primary factors of Harvard University's success are: voluntary participation from all members, the coordinated operation of the administrative division to be the center of the green campus initiative and the cooperation of each department. Other critical factors of Harvard's success are their fundraising capability, and specialized management institution. The study has significance in that it draws applicable implications on domestic Green campus through in-depth analysis, which surpasses introduction of preceding studies.

University campus has grown and developed along with history of human in connection with transition characteristics of city. In particular, reflecting the features in the times, the masterplan should explore its main roles today when international growth of university is pursued. In particular, center core and quad space, focusing on main components of campus such as main building, student union hall and main lecture facility, are the prototype of campus components and have been pursued to have importance in terms of shape and function as traditional campus space strategy. Recently, however, new strategy has been proposed to explore orders of campus utilizing the underground space focusing on main universities. Design of Hana Plaza of Korea University and Bekyangro of Yeonsei University, the targets of this study, actively explore this strategy. This study analyzed such strategies in terms of concept of space to obtain space, design trend of main universities at home and abroad, and viewpoint of integrated masterplan proposal. Conclusions from this study are as follows. First, concept of quad and center space found in the design of traditional campus is reinterpreted into new design aspects through development of underground space. Second, development of underground space is approached to overcome the limit of existing campus and to present the vision of universities 100 years ahead. Third, ever-changing complicated urban environment has been reflected in space configuration of campus and positioned as strategy to implement this as modern construction technique. Third, implementation of pedestrian-oriented campus has been pursued by reinforcing utilization of inclined topography of urban environment in Korea. This enables to obtain spaces for main activities of students and to implement the space where student support facilities are concentrated and activities are performed actively. Such features can be presented as conclusions of this study.
