본 논문에서는 SIP(Session initiation Protocol) 기반의 VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) 시스템에 효율적인 call-control을 위해 필요한 헤더와 파라미터를 추가한 Extension SIP를 제안하였다. 또한 이 제시된 Extension SIP에 따르는 SIP Proxy Server와 User Agent(User Agent Client, User Agent Server)를 리눅스 시스템에서 C언어를 통해 구현하였고, 이 구현된 Extension SIP 시스템을 통해 기존의 SIP 시스템과 cail-control을 위한 packet traffic을 비교.분석 함으로써 제안한 Extension SIP의 효율성 을 증명하였다.

In this paper, I develop a simple dynamic resource allocation algorithm that reduces the call blocking rate by improving the resource utilization of the WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) systems under multimedia service environment. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm significantly reduces the blocking rate of high speed multimedia calls. The algorithm developed in this paper is currently working in the commercial WCDMA IMT-2000 system.

분산환경에서 널리 사용되는 어플리케이션 개발도구인 RPC(Remote Procedure Call)는 정보보안을 위해서 DES 인증만을 가지고 있어 안전한 데이터 전송을 보장하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RPC에서 제공하는 키관리 방법을 사용하여 인증, 메시지의 비밀성, 무결성과 송수신 부인봉쇄 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 개선된 RPC 기반의 정보 보안 메카니즘을 설계하고 제안된 방법의 안전도를 검증하였다.

We use the call routing to interpret the number or name for routing address in multimedia internet. The routing address is used for connection setup. The traffic engineering consists of traffic management, capacity management and network planning. In this paper, in the traffic management function, the basic functions for call routing and connection/bearer-path routing will be presented.

In this paper, we describe various efficient optimization algorithms for obtaining an optimal customer allocation in the telephone call center. The main advantages of the proposed algorithms are simple, fast and very attractive for massive dataset. The proposed algorithms also provide comparable performance with the other more sophisticated linear programming methods. The proposed optimal allocation algorithms increase the customer contact, response rate and management product and optimize the performance of call centers. Simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithms.

When a terminal frequently crosses a RA or a call originate in a boundry cell, HLR should be updated or queried. Frequent DB accesses and message transfers may cause the HLR bottleneck and degrade the system performance. This paper propose scheme to solve the HLR bottleneck problem and reduce to call registration cost and call tracking cost in wirless networks.

This paper describes an extension of Kaffe JVM which enables to extract runtime characteristics of a Java program. The runtime characteristics include frequency of method call instruction, ratio of library method call and ratio of method whose runtime is less than compile time. It also represents ratio of method called only once, polymorphicity of virtual call and distribution of method size called in runtime. This paper analyses runtime features of the SciMark benchmark suite using the extended Kaffe.

Calling Party Pays(CPP) and Receiving Party Pays(RPP) are the models for billing mobile telecom services. CPP makes the person who originates the call liable for the per-minute charges, even if the caller is not a mobile telephone customer. However, RPP makes the person who receives a call pay the per-minute charges associated with that call. This paper collected and analyzed some foreign cases to understand the impact of CPP and RPP. This paper also analyzes the key issues that will face the industry in implementing CPP and RPP.

아웃바운드(Outbound) 형 콜 센터는 서비스 지향의 인바운드(Inbound) 형 콜 센터와는 달리 전화를 거는 주체가 고객에게 접촉하고자 하는 목적을 뚜렷하게 가진 상태에서 제품 또는 서비스, 정보제공 등을 전화나 기타 커뮤니케이션 채널을 통해 전달하는 업무를 담담한다. 본 논문에서는 아웃바운드 형 콜 센터 시스템을 예측 다이얼링(Predictive Dial Ing) 방식에 기반하여 개선된 콜 전략을 제안한다 개선된 콜 전략은 콜 센터 업무의 중심 역할인 콜링 리스트(Call ing List)를 데이터 추출 모듈을 사용하여 테이블로 구성한 뒤, 시간 활용을 통한 효율적 대응과 다양한 고객들의 정보를 바탕으로 고객과의 접촉확률을 증가시킬 수 있다.

We consider chooser options written on various underlying assets other than vanilla call and put options. Specifically, we deal with (i) the chooser option written on the power call and put options, and (ii) the chooser option written on the exchange options. We provide explicit formulas for the prices of these chooser options whose underlying assets are either power options or exchange options, rather than the vanilla call and put options.
