We consider a two sample rank test for a bivariate mixture distribution based on Johnson's quantile score. The test statistic is simple to calculate and the exact distribution under the null hypothesis is obtained. A numerical example is given.

In This paper we calculate the probabilities of binomial and Poisson distributions when n or${\mu}$ is large. Based on this calculation we consider the normal approximation to the binomial and binomial approximation to Poisson. We implement this approximation via CGI and dynamic graphs. These implementation are made available through the internet.

Using spectral sequences we calculate the highest nonvanishing index of Tor for modules of finite projective dimension. The result is applied to compute the depth of the highest nonvanishing Tor. This is one of the cases when a problem of Auslander is positive.

We prove that Toeplitz operators with symbols in RW are bounded and we calculate some upper bounds of the norm of these Toeplitz operators. We also analyze n-th derivative of Toeplitz operators and get some local estimates.

In this paper, we consider the Ricci curvature of a directed graph, based on Lin-Lu-Yau's definition. We give some properties of the Ricci curvature, including conditions for a directed regular graph to be Ricci-flat. Moreover, we calculate the Ricci curvature of the cartesian product of directed graphs.

This study aims to develop an easy and practical simple heat index (SHI) using climatic parameters. This simple heat index was named as a thermal perception index. Most of thermal indices are difficult to calculate or interpret for most normal person. Newly developed thermal perception index (THI) was used only a few variables for input.

In this article, we find the approximate solutions of Abel differential equation (ADE) with uncertainty using residual power series (RPS) method. This method helps to calculate the sequence of solutions of ADE. Finally, numerical illustrations demonstrate the applicability of the method.
