간호사의 재직의도에 대한 간호조직문화, 조직침묵과 조직몰입의 영향: PROCESS Macro model 6 적용 (Effect of Nursing Organizational culture, Organizational Silence, and Organizational Commitment on the Intention of Retention among Nurses: Applying the PROCESS Macro Model 6)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of organizational culture, organizational silence, and organizational commitment on the intention of retention as perceived by nurses Methods: The research model was designed on the basis of the PROCESS Macro model 6 proposed by Hayes. The participants were 142 nurses from general hospitals. Measurements included the scales of organizational culture, organizational silence, organizational commitment, and intention of retentione. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, and Hayes's PROCESS macro method for mediation. Results: Retention intention showed a significantly positive correlation with relationship-orientated culture (r=.32, p<.001), innovation-orientated culture (r=.30, p<.001), and organizational commitment (r=.48, p<.001). However retention intention showed a significantly negative correlation with organizational silence (r=-.42, p<.001). Furthermore, organizational silence and commitment had a mediating effect on the relationship between organizational culture and intention of retention. Conclusion: The impact of organizational culture on intention of retention in general hospitals was mediated by organizational silence and organizational commitment. Considering the mediating effects of organizational silence and organizational commitment on the relationship between nursing organizational culture and retention intention, a strategy should be developed to enhance organizational commitment and weaken organizational silence by strengthening related and innovative nursing culture.

A simple culture technique of Rhodobacter azotoformans EBN-7 for public use: application to NH4+-N removal in shrimp aquaculture water

  • Photosynthetic bacteria (PSB) attract considerable interest as useful microorganisms; nevertheless, a generalized culture technique has not been previously reported owing to difficulty in their cultivation. Therefore, a simple culture technique suitable for public use was investigated. Among the PSB tested, the strain Rhodobacter azotoformans EBN-7 was the most suitable for scale-up production because it showed the highest specific growth rate (0.20 h-1) on basal medium. In scale-up cultivation (500 L), R. azotoformans EBN-7 showed 4.50 × 1010 colony-forming units mL-1 (number of viable cells), dry cell weight of 26.8 g/L, and a specific growth rate of 0.15 h-1. Cultivation using this final culture broth (as seed culture) in a 15 L simple reactor was successful, with maintenance of cell activity evident. For use as seed culture, the maximum allowable preservation period of R. azotoformans EBN-7 at 4℃ was 3 months. When R. azotoformans EBN-7 cultivated in a simple technique was applied to shrimp aquaculture water, NH4+-N was reduced from 0.61 mg/L to 0.24 mg/L (by 60.7%) in 4 days in comparison with the control. Thus, this simple culture technique using R. azotoformans EBN-7 has the potential for a good removal efficiency of NH4+-N, making seed culture easier and suitable for public use.

제주지역 학교급식 관리자의 조직문화 및 조직몰입에 따른 직무만족도 분석 (Analysis of School Foodservice Managers' Job Satisfaction by Organizational Culture and Commitment in Jeju)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the job satisfaction of foodservice managers at schools in Jeju, Korea, according to the organizational culture and commitment of the school foodservice and administrative departments. The subjects included 144 (98.6%) dieticians from Jeju schools. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, ttests, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients, using the SPSS Win 12.0 program. In terms of organizational culture, the dieticians perceived the 'human relations model' and 'internal process model' as the strongest types for the school foodservice departments and administrative departments, respectively. However, for both types, a gap existed between the organizational culture that was perceived and that which was expected. In particular, the subjects expected that the 'human relations model' and 'open systems model' were the most important organizational culture types. In terms of the subjects' organizational commitment scores, loyalty and pride scored highest whereas unity scored lowest. For the level of job satisfaction, the performed work itself scored highest and was deemed most important. Additionally, organizational culture was positively correlated to the factors affecting organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Finally, the surveyed managers had high demands for a human relations-oriented organizational culture to enhance job satisfaction.

국제비즈니스에서 비교문화 연구의 재검토 (Cross-cultural Studies Revisited in International Business)

  • Growth of researches addressing cross-culture in international business is exponential. This article reviews the extant researches around the national culture and describes the various conceptualization of culture through discussion of some of popular models of national culture. This article presented some of the most important issues in international business surrounding globalization, especially convergence and divergence of cultures and cultural changes. Global rapid changes in international business environment request the reconsideration of the assumption of cultural stability and the simple view of culture, which tends to examine the static influence of a few cultural factors in isolation form other cultural factors and contextual elements. This paper identifies a valid cultural grouping and proposes the following typology of the possible methodologies in international business; Ethnological description, Use of proxies, Direct values inference, and Indirect values inference. Rather than selecting a single methodology, it appears to be more appropriate to use multi-method in the cross-cultural international business research. It has been shown that cultural change is intertwined with socioeconomic-institutional variables, and that these variables may also add to determine culture contemporarily. This paper also explained the dynamics of culture as multi-level, multi-layer constructs. According to this model, we may understand how the dynamic nature of culture conveys the top-down-bottom-up processes where one cultural level affects changes in other level of culture.

베트남, 캄보디아, 태국 헌법에 보이는 전통적 문화 요소 (Traditional Culture Features in the Constitutions of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand)

  • In this paper, we examine the traditional culture features of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand and above this we try to find out the evidences that traditional culture features are shown up through the Constitutions of three countries. First, for Vietnam, unlike the other two countries, we could find out the traditional culture feature of strong resistance and struggle against the foreign powers like China throughout the history. Also, the loyalty for the community and country could be added as the traditional culture features as well. In contrast, for Cambodia and Thailand, we could see other aspects of traditional culture features, such as the promotion and protection of Buddhism, historically sustained Kingship and respect for the King, the opportunistic foreign policy for the foreign powers to national survive. Furthermore, we could find out the evidences that these traditional culture features are shown implicitly or explicitly in the Constitutions of the three countries in all. Although three countries have different historical backgrounds, experiences, cultures, and value systems, we could see that the Constitution of the three countries show that the traditional culture features are vigorously alive in it. Thus, we can say that this proves that the flow of traditional culture features are not easily changed or stopped by an era or ideology and still alive in the heart of the people.

형질 전환 Aspergillus oryzae의 첨가가 산란계의 생산성, 계란 품질 및 장내 미생물 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Transgenic Aspergillus oryzae Supplementation on Performance, Egg Quality and Intestinal Microflora of Layers)

  • 본 연구는 메주에서 순수 분리된 메주곰팡이의 대표적 균종인 황국균(Aspergillus oryzae; AO)으로 만든 AO culture와 Salmonella 병원특이 유전자를 삽입한 형질전환 AO(TAO) culture가 산란계의 생산성, 계란 품질 및 장내 미생물 균총에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 실시하였다. 39주령 산란계 Hy-line Brown 840수를 공시하여 대조구, AO culture 0.2%와 0.5%, TAO culture 0.2%와 0.5%, UV를 조사하여 단백질 분해효소를 감소시킨 mutant에 Salmonella 병원 특이 유전자를 삽입한 형질전환 AO(TMAO) culture 0.2%와 0.5% 첨가구들을 비교하였다. 각 첨가구는 6반복, 반복당 20수씩, 한 케이지 당 2수씩 배치하여 8주간 사양시험을 실시하였다. 사양시험 결과 모든 산란 생산성 및 계란 품질 관련 조사항목에서 처리간에 유의한(P<0.05) 차이가 있었다. TAO culture 0.2% 첨가구가 산란 생산성에 있어서 유의적으로 가장 높았으며, 난중은 모든 AO 첨가구들이 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 낮거나 낮아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 연파란율은 TMAO culture 0.5% 첨가구가 가장 낮았다. 사료섭취량과 사료요구율은 대조구와 모든 AO 첨가구들간에 유의적 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 난각 강도는 대조구 보다 모든 AO 첨가구들에서 유의적으로 높게 나타났으며, 난황 색도는 TMAO culture 0.5% 첨가구에서 가장 높았다. 난각 색도와 Haugh unit은 대조구와 모든 AO 첨가구들간에 유의적 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 장내 미생물 균총(Salmo- nella spp., E. coli. Lactobacilli spp.)에서는 유의적(P<0.05) 차이가 있었다. AO culture 첨가에 의해서 Lactobacilli spp.의 수는 증가되고, E. coli 및 Salmonella spp.의 수는 감소되었다. 특히 TAO와 TMAO culture 첨가구에서는 AO culture 첨가구보다 Salmonella spp. 및 E. coli 억제효과가 컸으며 첨가수준(0.5% vs 0.2%) 간에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 결론적으로 TAO culture 0.2% 첨가는 산란 생산성 증가에 효과가 있었으며 TAO 및 TMAO culture 0.2% 첨가는 장내 E. coli 및 Salmonella spp.의 감소에 유의한 효과가 있었다.

  • This study aims to find the creative management system for the Company-Wide Creativity Development(CWCD). And this study consider managemant culture to find CWCD system because managemant culture have influence on the specific character of the personality and beheavior of the system member. To consider managemant culture, this study attempt to compare Korea managemant culture with America, Japanese managemant culture. Through this study we know that we must throw the authoritarianism, the egoism and try to resurrect Korean independence to find CWCD system in korea companies.

  • 본 연구는 역사문화의 입장에서 중국 복식문화의 원류에 관해 연구한 것으로 무속과 예약문화가 그 형성에 영향을 미친것을 밝혔다. 중국복식문화는 고대 주술문화에서 중요한 역할을 했을 뿐 아니라 상당한 비중을 차지하였다. 중국 복식문화의 성숙기와 서주때의 중국 예약문화의 형성은 매우 밀접한 상관이 있다. 예약문화의 표현에서 계급성을 내용으로 하고 형 식 성을 특징으로 하는 체제에서 중요한 작용을 하였다 동시 에 복식문화 자체도 이 시 기 에 아주 풍요롭게 발전하여 중국 문화의 견고한 기초를 확립하였다.

Costumes, Commodities, and Culture : on Shaping Knowledge

  • Consumer behavior is driven by culture; and culture is contextual. Therefore, human behaviors such as those exhibited in consumption behavior should not be measured and compared cross-culturally by using cultural specific mea-sures or paradigms which assume a universal reality, time and context free. Since it is known that consumption behavior is influenced by culture, and cultures in the United States differ from those in Korea, the assumption of universal ‘truths’ which can be known is inappropriate. To employ a paradigm with invalid assumptions automatically leads to the lack of validity, a must for truth claims in the positivist paradigm. Thus, 'truths' in the research reported must be suspect.

Understanding Information Culture: Conceptual and Implementation Issues

  • Information culture is a concept with multiple and sometimes conflicting definitions. Nevertheless at a time when social and cognitive aspects of information and communication systems are recognized as being of similar significance as the technological functionality, the concept of information culture is demonstrating considerable value. This paper explains the concept of information culture and considers its value from two main perspectives: firstly as providing an analytical tool, and secondly as a means of providing practitioners with insight and sensitivity to the organisational contexts of their workplaces.
