Design and Implementation of personalized recommendation system using Case-based Reasoning Technique (사례기반추론 기법을 이용한 개인화된 추천시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • We design and implement a new case-based recommender system using implicit rating information for a digital content site. Our system consists of the User Profile Generation module, the Similarity Evaluation and Recommendation module, and the Personalized Mailing module. In the User Profile Generation Module, we define intra-attribute and inter-attribute weight deriver from own's past interests of a user stored in the access logs to extract individual preferences for a content. A new similarity function is presented in the Similarity Evaluation and Recommendation Module to estimate similarities between new items set and the user profile. The Personalized Mailing Module sends individual recommended mails that are transformed into platform-independent XML document format to users. To verify the efficiency of our system, we have performed experimental comparisons between the proposed model and the collaborative filtering technique by mean absolute error (MAE) and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) values. The results show that the proposed model is more efficient than the traditional collaborative filtering technique.

  • There have been many considerations to develop new content services that integrate a variety of contents databases being already constructed and then produce new content services which are more valuable than existing services in many applications such as Internet portal, EC, and CRM. By doing the above thing, the burden of searching databases to access interesting databases and service applications can be reduced and the database availability of users is also enhanced through a single view integrating multiple contents database. This paper presents implementation details of the query processing system that is a core component of the database integration system, which can construct a virtual database that integrates databases being managed by multiple heterogeneous database systems using XML data model and support a quay facility on the integrated database.

  • SOA는 하나의 시스템이 아니며 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 다양한 시스템이 SOA개념 하에 서로 유기적으로 연계되어 있다. 이러한 SOA를 실현하는 미들웨어이며, 분산된 서비스 컴포넌트의 효율적인 통합을 실현하는 ESB는 BPEL 혹은 솔루션 벤더의 자체적인 표준을 따르는 프로세스 매니저와 연동해 프로세스 기반의 통합을 지원한다. 기업 차원에서 볼 때, 안정적인 SOA를 기반으로 BPM을 구축하면 BPM이 보다 민첩하고 유연해지며, 여러 부서와 위치에 걸쳐 BPM을 보다 쉽게 확장할 수 있고, 기본 IT 시스템의 변화에 보다 탄력적으로 대응할 수 있다. 또한, 프로세스에 필요한 일부 서비스를 거래 파트너에 아웃소싱할 수 있고, 회사의 고유한 프로세스를 내외부의 신규 고객에게 서비스로 제공할 수 있는 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 만들 수 있다. 이런 비즈니스 프로세스를 운영하면서 서비스에 대한 품질과 각 프로세스에 대한 관리를 효율적으로 하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 EERP (End to End Resource Planning)을 적용하여 QoS를 보장하고자 한다. EERP는 SO(Service Oriented)-SCM이나 SO-CRM과 같은 엔터프라이즈 환경에서의 내부, 외부의 리소스들을 최적화 하며, 프로세싱에 사용되는 각 리소스들을 실시간으로 감시하며 QoS를 보장하는 매커니즘을 통하여 최적화한다. 이를 기반으로 본 논문에서는 이러한 EERP QoS 구조를 제시한다.

A Data Migration Model and Case Study for Building Management System of Science and Technology Contents (과학기술정보콘텐츠 통합관리시스템 구축을 위한 데이터 마이그레이션 모델 수립 및 적용 사례)

  • The domestic market of database in Korea is estimated to be over 3.663 trillion won. The data migration is getting to be more important along with the continuous growth of the database industry. g-CRM and private recommending function are examples of the service that can be given through coupling among customer database, product database, geographic information database, and others. The core infrastructure is also the database which is integrated, perfect, and reliable. There are not enough researches on efficient way of data migration and integrating process and investigation of migrated data though trends of database in IT environment as above. In connection with this issue, we have made a model for data migration on scientific and technological contents and suggest the result of data migration process adapting that model. In addition, we verified migration's exhaustiveness, migration's consistency, and migration's coherence for investigation of migrated data and database. From the result, we conclude data migration based on proper model has a significant influence on the database consistency and the data values correctness and is essential to maintain high qualified database.

  • To analyze the national competitiveness of Korea leads to the conclusion that global high-tech enterprises have been playing leading and pulling roles in making Korea in line with advanced countries even though the country is lacking in various natural resources. The characteristics of these companies above are as follows; Firstly, these enterprises continue to accumulate core technologies and know-how with highly competent human resources and well-organized management. Secondly, they are well structured and equipped with information technology infrastructures which are, for example, ERP, SCM, CRM, and PLM. Among them PLM is considered to be the principal core information technology infra in manufacturing industry. The urgent task of manufacturing industry recently is to develop new products to accept various needs of consumers, and to launch the products in time to market, which requires the manufactures to be equipped with product development infra and system to upgrade product fulfillment and mass production system in a short period. The introduction of PLM System is a solution of core strategy as a manufacturer for collaboration, global development, reengineering of manufacturing system, the innovation and efficiency of manufacturing process, and product quality improvement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the success factors of introducing PLM System and its practicing effectiveness. And the results of empirical study are as follows; (1) Technical success factors positively impact system quality and user satisfaction, (2) Organizational success factors positively impact system quality, but does not impact user satisfaction, (3) Environmental success factors positively impact system quality and user satisfaction, (4) System quality positively impacts user satisfaction, (5) User satisfaction positively impacts the effectiveness of implementing PLM systems, but system quality does not impact it.

A Study on Development of Market Oriented MIS Curriculum (시장지향적 MIS 교육과정 개편을 위한 연구)

  • In recent business environment, we realize that MIS is taking important role in which it has been involved. However, we are having difficulty to find out the identity of MIS in business studies since MIS is derived from Micro Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science and so on. And there is no clear boundary in order to classify with other business area in consisting curriculums. Furthermore, IT staffs in the field are facing difficulties to utilize what they have learned MIS curriculums provided from business studies. In this research, we would like to present implications for development of market oriented MIS curriculums, which can be the actual needs of IT fields, through analysis of System Integration project for recent three years, analysis of IT capability based on the survey of IT consultants and analysis of application S/W technology trend in global vendor referred to "MIS Curriculum: The Current State of the Art and a Proposed Future Model (Lee et al, 2007)". As enterprise application software technology develop, the system integration can be achieved through special system solutions such as ERP, CRM, SCM, BI, etc. We also have acknowledged that solution consultants who have the ability of packaged S/W application are in demand since S/W vendors have become larger and more practical through M&A. Therefore, we have come to a conclusion regarding new direction of curriculum for increasing human power in IT industry which we demonstrated in detail through this research.

  • Cloud services are used for improving business. Moreover, customer relationship management(CRM) approaches use social networking as tools to enhance services to customers. However, most cloud systems do not support the semantic structures, and because of this, vital information from social network sites is still hard to process and use for business strategy. This paper proposes a collaboration framework based on social semantic web for cloud system. The proposed framework consists of components to support social semantic web to provide an efficient collaboration system for cloud consumers and service providers. The knowledge acquisition module extracts rules from data gathered by social agents and these rules are used for collaboration and business strategy. This paper showed the implementations of processing of social network site data in the proposed semantic model and pattern extraction which was used for the virtual grouping of cloud service providers for efficient collaboration.

  • 본 연구에서는 건설CALS/EC 기반의 정보화 추진을 위한 정보시스템을 개발할 때 적용되는 기존의 소프트웨어 개발방법론의 문제점을 분석하고, 표준화되지 않은 개발방법론의 적용으로 시스템 개발에 비효율적인 비용을 투자하는 문제점과 특성상 입찰, 구매, 계약 등 분야별로 상이한 기능의 업무에 따라 구축되는 건설산업 정보화에 있어서 상호간에 데이터 및 프로세스를 원활히 통합하지 못하므로 인하여 발생되는 개발의 중복성, 정보 활용의 비효율성 등의 문제점을 개선하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 최근 새로이 부각되고 있는 방법론인 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법론(CBD: Component-Based Development)을 사용하여 건선CALS/EC 표준지침 웹서비스를 위한 시스템의 업무프로세스를 모델링하여 사용자가 쉽게 재사용가능하고 타업무분야에 확대 가능한 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 기존의 소프트웨어 개발 방법론의 적용상 문제점 분석을 통하여 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법론의 필요성을 증명하고 비즈니스 컴포넌트 프레임워크를 사용하여 건설 CALS/EC 표준지침 웹서비스의 업무프로세스에 적용할 기술적인 방법론을 고찰하고 업무에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 업무프로세스 컴포넌트를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 컴포넌트 모델은 향후 타업무분야의 시스템을 개발할 때 사용자요구분석 단계부터 별도의 재 작업이 없이 사용될 수 있으며 시스템을 구현할 때 개발 모듈의 중복방지와 용이한 비즈니스로직의 변경 등이 가능하며, 추가의 업무 프로세스나 연관된 다른 분야의 업무프로세스의 반영 및 추가 시 컴포넌트의 활동모델을 쉽게 수정하여 정의함으로써 쉽게 시스템의 기능을 확장할 수 있다.LE 산정에 관한 지속적인 실험적 연구가 이루어져야 하겠다. 증가할 것이다. 또한 부분육을 이용한 완전제품, 적색육제품, 유기농이나 별미식 제품과 같은 형태의 다양한 포장육 제품이 도입 될 것으로 생각되어진다.e in vitro SPF test method will be able to be used as an alternative method for in vivo SPF in case of lotion and cream. replica. Ontology Design for the Register of Officials(先生案) of the Joseon Period (조선시대 선생안 온톨로지 설계)

  • This paper is about the research on ontology design for a digital archive of seonsaengan(先生案) of the Joseon Period. Seonsaengan is the register of staff officials at each government office, along with their personal information and records of their transfer from one office to another, in addition to their DOBs, family clan, etc. A total of 176 types of registers are known to be kept at libraries and museums in the country. This paper intends to engage in the ontology design of 47 cases of such registers preserved at the Jangseogak Archives of the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) with a focus on their content and structure including the names of the relevant government offices and posts assumed by the officials, etc. The work for the ontology design was done with a focus on the officials, the offices they belong to, and records about their transfers kept in the registers. The ontology design categorized relevant resources into classes according to the attributes common to the individuals. Each individual has defined a semantic postposition word that can explicitly express the relationship with other individuals. As for the classes, they were divided into eight categories, i.e. registers, figures, offices, official posts, state examination, records, and concepts. For design of relationships and attributes, terms and phrases such as Dublin Core, Europeana Data Mode, CIDOC-CRM, data model for database of those who passed the exam in the past, which are already designed and used, were referred to. Where terms and phrases designed in existing data models are used, the work used Namespace of the relevant data model. The writer defined the relationships where necessary. The designed ontology shows an exemplary implementation of the Myeongneung seonsaengan(明陵先生案). The work gave consideration to expected effects of information entered when a single registered is expanded to plural registers, along with ways to use it. The ontology design is not one made based on the review of all of the 176 registers. The model needs to be improved each time relevant information is obtained. The aim of such efforts is the systematic arrangement of information contained in the registers. It should be remembered that information arranged in this manner may be rearranged with the aid of databases or archives existing currently or to be built in the future. It is expected that the pieces of information entered through the ontology design will be used as data showing how government offices were operated and what their personnel system was like, along with politics, economy, society, and culture of the Joseon Period, in linkage with databases already established.

Design and Analysis of Ubiquitous Customer Relationship Management System Based on Near Field Communication (근거리 무선 통신 기반 유비쿼터스 고객 관계 관리 시스템의 설계 및 분석)

  • This research aims to design and analyze a ubiquitous customer relationship management system based on near field communication which can be applied to stores in off-line environment. The existing customer relationship management system has been used mainly for stores in off-line environment to issue a royalty card, to stamp a seal on the purchase goods, and to manage the history of customers' visits and purchases. But, the existing system has two weaknesses; it makes difficult for a store manger not only to acquire a wealth of customer data but also to systematically manage the acquired data. In particular, the effectiveness and efficiency of the royalty card are questioned when a customer makes purchases in the store in that the customer frequently does not carry it or loses it. So, this research suggests a ubiquitous customer relationship management system where a tag for near field communications is attached to a store in off-line environment; a store manager can collect and manage easily customer's dada and customers can seamlessly acquire store's information. To do this, this research conducts the followings. First, we review the previous researches of customer relationship management to examine the concept of ubiquitous customer relationship management. Second, from the examination, we draw the factors to be considered in ubiquitous customer relationship management system based on near field communication. Third, we propose a scenario where the suggested system is used. Fourth, we analyze the participants' values and the process that will be used for the suggested system. Finally, we discuss the possibility of the application of this system to real business environment from various viewpoints.
