하천수 열원 이용 열펌프 시스템의 LCC 분석 (LCC Analysis of a Heat Pump System Using River Water)

  • The performance of a heat pump using river water as a heat source was compared with that of a conventional air-conditioner for cooling and a boiler system for heating. The heat pump system using river water considered the 1-stage cycle for cooling and the 2-stage cycle for heating. The COPs of the river water source heat pump were $0.5{\sim}1.1$ higher than those of the conventional system in the cooling season. The LCC of the river water source heat pump system was lower 13.5% and 32.4% than that of the conventional system I and II. In addition, when the initial cost ratios of the river water source heat pump system to the conventional system I and II were less than 1.2 and 1.4, respectively, an acceptable payback was found to be less than 5 years.

  • Single-effect $CH_3OH-LiI-ZnBr_2$ and $C_2H_5OH-LiI$ absorption heat pumps are simulated to evaluate feasibility as heating device. These systems are predicted to give higher heating COPs in wide operating ranges compared to conventional systems. Among the two systems, the $C_2H_5OH-LiI$ system is found to be more advantageous for operating in extremely cold weather due to the large solubility of Lil in $C_2H_5OH$.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the simulation results and an overview of the performance assessment of the Ground-Source Heat Pump(GSHP) system. The calculation was performed for two design factors. the spacing between boreholes and the depth of the vertical ground heat exchangers. And the simulation was carried out using the thermal simulation code TRNSYS with new model o( water to water heat pump developed by this study. As a result, it was anticipated that the yearly mean COPs of heat pump for heating and cooling are about 3.7 and 5.8 respectively and the heat pump can supply 100% of heating and cooling load all the year around.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance characteristics of a bypass two-circuit refrigerator. A bench scale refrigeration system was designed and constructed to estimate possible performance improvement of the bypass two-circuit refrigerator. The experiments were conducted in the bench scale refrigeration system by varying capacity of the condenser and refrigerant charge amount with an adoption of a refrigerant storage vessel. The COPs of the bypass two-circuit refrigeration system in the refrigerator and freezer (RF)-mode and freezer(F) only-mode were increased by 10% and 17%, respectively, with increasing the capacity of the condenser. Besides, the COP of the system in the F only-mode was increased by 10% by adopting the refrigerant storage vessel.

  • The scope of this paper is to analyze the safety aspects of the Ka-band payload system which are associated with testing, transportation, integration, handling and storage. According to ESA philosophy and the ECSS-Q-40A "Space Product Assurance - Safety", safety hazard analysis of Ka band payload was performed. In this paper, it is indicated the requirements to be satisfied for eliminating, reducing, or controlling the hazards and by showing how they have been implemented in the COMS design. And it shows the safety hazard analysis result which has performed the analysis according to ESA document and also shows the potential hazard cause, potential effects, hazard grade and criteria resolution of Ka band COPS.

통신해양기상위성의 Ka 통신탑재체 개발 제품보증 연구 (A study on Product Assurance for development of Ka band Communication Payload System of COMS)

  • It is anticipated that quality assurance for the Ka band Communication Payload System(COPS) development program of the Communication, Ocean & Meteorological Satellite(COMS) may be a core technical factor to be concerned in order to avoid any failure, and to assure its performance during the mission lifetime in space. Those can be managed and verified and assessed by performing the Quality Assurance (QA) and risk management which helps to prevent and reduce the critical fails. This paper introduces the Product Assurance (PA) system and procedures for Ka band Communication Payload System which was established and performed during the Qualification Model (QM) manufacturing phase. In this paper, we present detailed process for the products manufactured by local companies according to PA procedures operated through whole phases from design to test of equipment. Also this paper shows Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and detailed their processes for assured the product quality manufactured by local companies.

  • 일반적인 쵸크랄스키(CZ)방법으로 성장된 실리콘 단결정봉(Ingot)을 가공하여 경면 연마한 후 RTA법으로 수소 분위기에서 열처리하여 실리콘 웨이퍼 표면 및 표면 근처의 특성 변화에 대하여 고찰하였다 수소 열처리를 통하여 표면의 COP (결정결함)가 현저히 감소하는 것을 확인하였고 깊이 5um까지의 영역에서도 결정결함의 밀도가 감소하였다. 또한 수소 열처리에 의해 실리콘 웨이퍼 표면이 에칭 및 실리콘의 재배열에 의해 형성되는 테라스(Terrace) 형태도 관찰되었다.

  • A $CO_2$ heat pump system was designed for both cooling and heating in the cabin of electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles or fuel cell vehicles, In this study, the performance characteristics of the heat pump system without any supplementary heating device were analyzed and the heating performance was compared with the cooling performance for various operating conditions. Experiments were carried out by changing the speed of electric drive compressor, the air flow rate of interior heat exchanger and the air inlet temperature and speed of exterior heat exchanger. Therefore, the cooling/heating capacities and the corresponding COPs are quantified. Also, the heat pump system showed an improved performance for the cooling operation and the heating operation. In this study, the experimental results can be used to evaluate the effect of system design changes on system performance as well as the development of a highly efficient heat pump system.

  • Performance of water-to-air heat pump using raw water has been analyzed under part load heating operation in March, 2010. The water source heat pump of 30 RT was installed for 24 hours cooling and heating ventilation, and the gravity inflow water from Daechung dam is used as the heat source. The daily averaged water and air temperatures are $5.7^{\circ}C$ and $9.9^{\circ}C$ respectively, and the heat pump is operated under part load condition for 7.5 hours in 24 hours. The daily averaged heat pump COP calculated with heat transferred from the brine water is 2.49 and the monthly averaged COP is 2.25 in March. Based on the database of the California Energy Commission, the monthly averaged COPs of air source heat pumps installed in U.S.A. are 1.97 in March and 2.03 in April. Therefore it is confirmed again that the performance of the heat pump using raw water is better than that of air source heat pumps.

연구.사무공간의 냉난방용으로 설치된 400RT급 수직형 지열시스템의 봄철 성능평가 (A Performance Evaluation of a 400RT Vertical type Geothermal System installed in a R&D and Office Building in Spring)

  • 400RT geothermal system which is consist with vertical-typed 112 geothermal heat exchangers is measured and evaluated in spring, 21st${\sim}$24th May 2008. As the results, the average temperature difference between inlet and outlet of geothermal pipes is $1{\sim}2^{\circ}C$ and that of cool water supply is $2{\sim}6^{\circ}C$, when being normally operated. Despite temperature fluctuations by cooling loads, the average temperature difference between main pipes of inlet and outlet of geothermal heat exchangers is measured as $3^{\circ}C$. The geothermal system COPs are calcluated as 2.92${\sim}$3.92 in every 12 hours.
