Error Rate Performance of Convolution coded DS-CDMA 16 QAM signal in Diversity Reception in Rician Fading Environments (라이시안 페이딩 환경에서 길쌈 부호화된 DS-CDMA 16 QAM 신호의 다이버시티 수신에 대한 성능 해석)

  • In this paper, Error rate performance of Convolution coded DS-CDMA 16 QAM signal is analyzed using selective combining diversity reception techniques and maximal ratio combining diversity reception techniques under the environments of Rician fading. With the results of analysis, maximal ratio combining diversity reception techniques provides the performance improvement of about 3-8[㏈] over selective combining diversity reception techniques for the good error performance lot data communication. And it is found that a synergistic performance improvement is show to both diversity reception and Convolution coding, techniques overcoming mobile wireless data communication channel environment.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 통신로 환경에서 발생하는 페이딩 현상과 전자기기에서 방출되는 임펄스성 전자간섭파에 따른 MC DS-CDMA와 DS-CDMA 시스템의 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 결과에 의하면, 페이딩과 임펄스 전자간섭파에 의해 시스템에 심각한 영향을 미치게 되는데 특히, 직접파 성분이 존재하는 페이딩 보다는 임펄스 전자간섭파의 발생빈도와 크기에 따라 두 시스템 성능이 크게 좌우됨을 알 수 있었다. 이에 대한 성능개선 기법으로 다이버시티 기법과 BCH(15, 7) 부호화 기법을 적용하여 직접파가 존재하는 페이딩과 강한 임펄스 간섭 환경에서도 만족할 만한 성능을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • A new blind multi-user channel estimation algorithm for the mobile communication systems is proposed. The proposed algorithm exploits the second-order statistics of a received signal and the subspace concept, and requires much less computational complexity than the existing algorithms. The algorithm can reduce the comptational load by estimating the physical channels excluding the spreading codes. We formulate the algorithm using the multi-channel model for asynchronous DS-CDMA systems and perform numerical experiments to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

  • In the high-speed packet service, next generation mobile communication system has emerged as a major feature. If the fire of these high-speed D kit services and non-continuous transmission of data due to the symmetrical nature of daeyiteo traffic for D-CDMA system has been actively studied. In this paper, we apply turbo codes for D-CDMA has been investigated. Considering the nature of the system configuration of the transmission frame type, such as physical channel structure and channel coding has been investigated.   • CDMA와 같은 다중 접속 무선 통신 방식에서 문제가 되는 심벌간 간섭신호와 다중 사용자 접속 간섭신호를 제거하기 위해 제안된 기존의 CDMA 수신 알고리즘들은 여전히 간섭신호들을 포함하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 잔존하는 간섭신호를 제거하여 더욱 향상된 BER 성능을 얻기 위해서 CMA를 이용하는 간섭신호 제거를 위한 블라인드 적응 후처리 기법을 제안하였다. 제안한 후처리 기법은 기존의 어떠한 알고리즘에도 적용이 가능한 범용 후처리 기법으로 부가적으로 요구하는 정보가 없으며 추가로 요구되는 계산량이 매우 적다. 또한 제안한 방법이 수학적으로 안정된 수렴 특성을 갖는다는 것을 증명하였다. 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통하여 제안한 CMA 후처리 기법이 여러 수신 알고리즘에 적용될 때 BER 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

  • Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-code division multiplexing access(OFDM-CDMA) systems without guard interval can enhance the bandwidth performance more efficiently than the systems with guard interval. In this paper, a new technique for an OFDM-CDMA system without guard interval, which can eliminate inter-symbol interference(ISI) and inter-channel interference(ICI), is presented. The proposed algorithm is a new demodulation technique, based on the Pseudo-Decorrelator, and it is named PD algorithm. Simulation results show that the PD algorithm can combat ISI and ICI efficiently for an OFDM-CDMA system without guard interval. The BER performance of the PD algorithm is much better than that of a conventional OFDM-CDMA system without guard interval.

  • In this paper, an RRA_CDMA protocol is proposed for the integrated voice and data services in the cellular packet CDMA systems. The proposed protocol employs the RRA scheme. In the cellular CDMA systems, the backward logical channels are composed of time slots with multiple spreading codes per slot based on WB-TD-CDMA concept. When a voice terminal begins a talkspurt, it reserves one of the available spreading codes in the next slot and uses the reserved channel exclusively untill it ends the talkspurt. On th other hand, whenever a data terminal generates a packet, it selects an avaliable spreading code and transmits its packet. Throughout the results, it is shown that the system capacity increases in proportion to the number of spreading codes.

  • The navigation system like GPS which is core technology is based on Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) techniques. To receive satellite signal smoothly in CDMA, received signals have to synchronize with spread code. In this paper, we focus on the code tracking methods among synchronization techniques. The conventional delay lock loop(DLL) is unsuitable for multi-path channel. We will introduce how it overcomes distortion by multi-path. We will propose method that separates out multi-path signals and tracks the each path signals. And we will confirm performance of proposed method using Spirent simulator.

  • In this paper proposes a multi-carrier MFSK-DPSK/DS-CDMA combined modulation techniques in Nakagami fading environment. Also, multi-carrier DS-CDMA combined system is a promising technique for mobile communications systems, since it has a strong immunity to multipath fading and increasing bandwidth efficiency. The modulations under consideration are noncoherent M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK)and an MFSK based joint frequency phase modulation utilizing differential phase shift keying (DPSK). With the result, performance improvement of power efficiency and bandwidth efficiency combined system in multi-carrier MFSK-DPSK/DS-CDMA are better then conventional communication system.

  • performance of the cellular CDMA overlay system is analyzed which shares the same band with existing microwave narrowband system to enhance the spectral efficiency. To suppress the interfreence from narrowband system, we used a linear predicition filter that adopts the adaptive least mean square algorithm. Alalyzing the performance in the Personal Communication Services channel, characterized as a multipath Rician fadng channels, we considered the power control to solve the near-far problem, and-off and multipath diversity. We also considered interleaving and channel coding to improve BER performance of the CDMA system.
