In modern society, user privacy is emerging as an important issue as closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems increase rapidly in various public and private spaces. If CCTV cameras monitor sensitive areas or personal spaces, they can infringe on personal privacy. Someone's behavior patterns, sensitive information, residence, etc. can be exposed, and if the image data collected from CCTV is not properly protected, there can be a risk of data leakage by hackers or illegal accessors. This paper presents an innovative approach to "machine learning based reversible chaotic masking method for user privacy protection in CCTV environment." The proposed method was developed to protect an individual's identity within CCTV images while maintaining the usefulness of the data for surveillance and analysis purposes. This method utilizes a two-step process for user privacy. First, machine learning models are trained to accurately detect and locate human subjects within the CCTV frame. This model is designed to identify individuals accurately and robustly by leveraging state-of-the-art object detection techniques. When an individual is detected, reversible chaos masking technology is applied. This masking technique uses chaos maps to create complex patterns to hide individual facial features and identifiable characteristics. Above all, the generated mask can be reversibly applied and removed, allowing authorized users to access the original unmasking image.

Recently, the intelligent video surveillance technology has become able to provide various services such as predictive surveillance that have not been provided previously. Securing the security of the intelligent video surveillance is essential, and malicious manipulation of the original CCTV video data can lead to serious social problems. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed an intelligent video surveillance environment based on blockchain. The proposed scheme guarantees the integrity of the CCTV image data and protects the ROI privacy through the edge blockchain, so there is no privacy exposure of the object. In addition, it is effective because it is possible to increase the transmission efficiency and reduce storage by enabling video deduplication.
It is said that we live in an age of technology. And indeed, science and technology do play key roles to our life of happiness, but they are equally central in all events that threaten it. Science and technology are the means we often turn to in seeking solutions to our problems, and in turn are often the apparent sources of new problems. Thus it is not surprising that they have two aspects at the same time. CCTV has been presented to us as a technical solution to security problems. With the help of CCTV, we can more effectively prevent, detect, and prosecute crimes. With the help of CCTV, both public and private spaces can be made more secure. But of course, CCTV also has a down side. The down side most prominently anticipated has been loss of privacy and proliferation of surveillance. It is largely this potential problem with CCTV that has been regulated against. It is said that one reason for imposing a limitation on individual privacy is the societal interest in the prevention of crime. Accordingly a balance between the need to prevent crime through the use of CCTV and the duty to respect the privacy interests of individual citizens is in need of redress. In other hand, two theories of socio-political philosophy may have provided useful ways of understanding the role of CCTV in contemporary society. Firstly, neo-Marxist frameworks, for instance, stress the use of CCTV to police existing unequal socioeconomic divisions within society and the dominance of particular forms of order based upon materialist agendas. Secondly, Foucauldian frameworks contend that Foucault's notion of panoptic surveillance underpinning (self) disciplinary society is an appropriate template for understanding CCTV in late-modern society. In order to find a new point of valance between security and privacy in the use of CCTV, the participation of each citizen in the discourse to make the new norm is necessary. And to prevent its political misuse, their surveillance, or check for the potential surveillance-power is required.

Due to increased terrors and crimes, the use of surveillance camera systems including CCTV is also increasing. Private information such as faces or behavior patterns can be recorded in CCTV and when it is exposed, it may cause infringement to privacy and crimes. This paper analyses conventional methods on protection of privacy in surveillance camera system and then suggests an RFID-based surveillance camera system that can both watch crimes and protect privacy. The proposed system protects privacy and watches crimes using scrambling and an RFID system.

Most of the public and private buildings in Korea are installing CCTV for crime prevention and follow-up action, insider security, facility safety, and fire prevention, and the number of installations is increasing each year. In the questionnaire conducted on the increasing CCTV, many reactions were positive in terms of the prevention of crime that could occur due to the installation, rather than negative views such as privacy violation caused by CCTV shooting. However, CCTV poses a lot of privacy risks, and when the image data is collected using the cloud, the personal information of the subject can be leaked. InseCam relayed the CCTV surveillance video of each country in real time, including the front camera of the notebook computer, which caused a big issue. In this paper, we introduce a system to prevent leakage of private information and enhance the security of the cloud system by processing the privacy technique on image information about a subject photographed through CCTV.
This is about the CCTV hacking which is one of the recently emerging privacy-spilling crime. Recently, the usage of CCTV is being increased, and Black Hat Hackers spill the individual's privacy by hacking it. However, That crime is being increased. However, most users rarely fulfill the security management, and the government's measures are insufficient. Therfore, this research report implies some security technologies including user authentication protocols such as SSH Tunneling and Media Encryption Algorithm. and recently developed technologies including Wookyeong Information Technology's SecuWatcher for CCTV, Norma's CCTV Care App, and MarkAny's Password SAFERTM for CCTV.

CCTV(Closed Circuit television) is one of the widely used physical security technologies and video acquisition device installed at specific point with various purposes. Recently, as the CCTV capabilities improve, facial recognition from the information collected from CCTV video is under development. However, in case these technologies are exploited, concerns on major privacy infringement are high. Especially, a computer connected to a particular space images taken by the camera in real time over the Internet has emerged to show information services. In the privacy law, safety measures which is related with biometric template are notified. Accordingly, in this paper, for the protection of privacy video information in the video surveillance system, the technical and managerial requirements for video information security are suggested.

CCTV image processing techniques have been developed for safety management in manufacturing sites. However, CCTV growth has become a social problem for video surveillance with regard to privacy. This study aims to manage the safety system efficiently and protect privacy simultaneously. In this study, the CCTV monitoring system is composed of five steps (accident monitoring, detection, notification, management, restoration). De-identified image is observed when we are in a normal situation. De-identified image changes to identified image when it detects an accident. As soon as it detects an accident, the accident information is sent to the safety administrator. Then the administrator could conduct safety measures. Afterward, accumulated accident data could be used for statistical data that could be utilized as analyzing expecting accident.
CCTV would be the effective way in the prevention of abuse, as well as recorded image information evidence of the crime as a significant legal effect. But recorded image information As evidence by utilizing the Complaint/complaint handling, and administrative business processes that are currently operating offline procedural complexity and unnecessary time appear costly, privacy remains an issue to be solved, etc. Runoff. In this paper, incidence rate of offline business processing phase to solve the problems proposed to build unified portal for CCTV image information and the existing studies on the effectiveness of electronic civil service system, previous studies by analyzing e-government in accordance with laws and privacy laws, CCTV image information portal deployment model is applied to data integration occurs are trying to solve the problem effectively.

This paper analyzes the problems of existing CCTV and discusses cyber security problems of IP-CCTV in cloud computing environment. In order to reduce the risk of simply removing the risk associated with the provision of cloud services, the risk analysis and counter-measures need to be carried out effectively. Therefore, the STRIDE model as the Threat Risk Modeling is used to analyze the risk factors, and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) is used to measure risk priorities based on the analyzed threats.
