불소화된 $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ 초전도체의 구조적, 전기적 성질에 관한 연구 (A study on the structural and electric properties of fluorinated $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$)

  • The structural and electric properties of $Y_{1-x}$YbF$_{x}$Ba$_{2}$Cu$_{3}$O$_{7-y}$(x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6) have been investigated by using XRD(X-ray diffraction), TMA(thennomechanical analysis), NMR(nuclear magnetic resonance) analysis and four probe method. $Y_{1-x}$YbF$_{x}$Ba$_{2}$Cu$_{3}$O$_{7-y}$ samples were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method using $Y_{2}$O$_{3}$, BaCO$_{3}$, CuO and YbF$_{3}$ power. TMA and high temperature XRD results shows that orthorhombic to tetragonal phase transition occurs in the unfluorinated 1-2-3 sample while the phase change is not observed in the fluorinated 1-2-3 samples. Superconducting transition temperature(T$_{c}$) increases with increasing YbF$_{3}$ content ; T$_{c}$, of the sample reaching maximum of 102K for x=0.3, and then decreases with further increasing YbF$_{3}$ content. The structural analysis and T$_{c}$ results shows that the fluorine doping stabilize the orthorhombic phase, together with the increase in T$_{c}$.}$ c/.TEX> c/.

A Study on the Properties of MgF2 Antireflection Film for Solar Cells

  • $MgF_2$ is a current material used for optical applications in the ultraviolet and deep ultraviolet range. Process variables for manufacturing $MgF_2$ thin film were established in order to clarify the optimum conditions for the growth of the thin film, dependant upon the process conditions, and then by changing a number of the vapor deposition conditions, substrate temperatures, and heat treatment conditions, the structural and optical characteristics were measured. Then, optimum process variables were thus derived. Nevertheless, modern applications still require improvement in the optical and structural quality of the deposited layers. In the present work, in order to understand the composition and microstructure of $MgF_2$, single layers grown on a slide glass substrate using an Electron beam Evaporator (KV-660), were analyzed and compared. The surface substrate temperature, having an effect on the quality of the thin film, was changed from $200^{\circ}C$ to $350^{\circ}C$ at intervals of $50^{\circ}C$. The heat treatment temperature, which also has an effect on the thin film, was changed from $200^{\circ}C$ to $400^{\circ}C$ at intervals of $50^{\circ}C$. The physical properties of the thin film were investigated at various fabrication conditions, such as the substrate temperature, the heat treatment temperature, and the heat treatment time, by X-ray diffraction, and field emission-scanning electron microscopy.

Synthesis, Structure and Thermal Properties of Bifurazano[3,4-b:3',4'-f]furoxano[3'',4''-d]oxacyclohetpatriene (BFFO)

  • A novel energetic compound, bifurazano[3,4-b:3',4'-f]furoxano[3'',4''-d] oxacyclohetpatriene (BFFO), was synthesized through special etherification and its structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal of $BFFO{\cdot}H_2O$ is monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c with crystal parameters of a = $9.324(4){\AA}$, b = $9.727(4){\AA}$, c = $10.391(4){\AA}$, ${\beta}=106.305(6)^{\circ}$, V = $904.5(6){\AA}^3$, Z = 4, ${\mu}=0.17mm^{-1}$, F(000) = 512 and $D_c=1.866g\;cm^{-3}$. Spectroscopic properties and thermal behaviors of BFFO were studied. BFFO presents good detonation properties.

전기방사법으로 제조한 PEI/PVdF 블렌드 웹의 물리적 특성에 대한 후처리 영향 (Effect of Post-Process on Physical Properties of Electrospun PEI/PVdF Blend Nonwoven Web)

  • Polyetherimide(PEI)와 poly(vinylidene flouride)(PVdF) 폴리머들을 블렌딩하여 전기방사를 통해 웹을 제조하였다. 낮은 기계적 물성을 증대시키기 위해서 압착과 연신이라는 후처리 공정을 이용하였으며 후처리 공정이 기계적 물성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 물리적 특성을 확인하기 위해 SEM, 인장 시험 측정기를 이용하여 측정하였다. $180^{\circ}C$의 압착 온도에서 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5의 비율로 압착된 웹들은 초기 상태에 비해 대략 4~5배 가량 인장 강도가 증가하였으며, 이들을 $220^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 30~40% 연신함으로써 2~8MPa의 추가적인 인장 강도 증대를 보였다.

  • The Ethylene polymerization behavior of a series of polymethylene bridged dinuclear CGC $[Zr({\eta}^{5}:{\eta}^{1}-C_{9}H_{5}SiMe_{2}NCMe_{3})Me_{2}]_{2}[(CH_{2})_{n}]\;[_{n}=6(1),\;9(2),\;12(3)]$ in the cocatalytic activation with $Ph_{3}C^{+}B^{-}(C_{6}F_{5})_{4}\;(B_{1})\;or\;Ph_{3}C^{+}(C_{6}F_{5})_{3}B^{-}C_{6}F_{4}B^{-}(C_{6}F_{5})_{3}Ph_{3}C^{+}\;(B_{2})\;or\;B(C_{6}F_{5})_{3}\;(B_{3})$ were investigated to study the nuclearity effects as well as the counteranion effects. The ethylene polymerization and ethylene/1-hexene copolymerization were conducted at $30^{\circ}C$ It was found that both in ethylene polymerization and ethylene/1-hexene copolymerization, activities increased in the order of 1 < 2 < 3, which indicates the presence of longer bridge between two active sites contributes more efficiently to facilitate the polymerization activity.

R.F. sputtering 방법에 의해 c-BN 표면처리된 316L 오스테나이트계 스테인리스 강의 내마모특성 향상 (Wear Resistance of c-BN Surface Modified 316L Austenitic Stainless Steel by R.F. Sputtering)

  • Cubic boron nitride (c-BN) is a promising material for use in many potential applications because of its outstanding physical properties such as high thermal stability, high abrasive wear resistance, and super hardness. Even though 316L austenitic stainless steel (STS) has poor wear resistance causing it to be toxic in the body due to wear and material chips, 316L STS has been used for implant biomaterials in orthopedics due to its good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Therefore, in the present study, c-BN films with a $B_4C$ layer were applied to a 316L STS specimen in order to improve its wear resistance. The deposition of the c-BN films was performed using an r.f. (13.56 MHz) magnetron sputtering system with a $B_4C$ target. The coating layers were characterized using XPS and SEM, and the mechanical properties were investigated using a nanoindenter. The friction coefficient of the c-BN coated 316L STS steel was obtained using a pin-on-disk according to the ASTM G163-99. The thickness of the obtained c-BN and $B_4C$ were about 220 nm and 630 nm, respectively. The high resolution XPS spectra analysis of B1s and N1s revealed that the c-BN film was mainly composed of $sp^3$ BN bonds. The hardness and elastic modulus of the c-BN measured by the nanoindenter were 46.8 GPa and 345.7 GPa, respectively. The friction coefficient of the c-BN coated 316L STS was decreased from 3.5 to 1.6. The wear property of the c-BN coated 316L STS was enhanced by a factor of two.

  • 5-Amino-1,3-diaryl-pyrazoles 1a-c 와 다양한 aryl amine의diazonium salts를 반응시켜서 1,3-diaryl-5-amino-4-arylazopyrazoles 3a-l을 합성하였으며, 몇 가지 화합물은 5-amino-1,3-diaryl-4-nitroso-1H-pyrazoles 2a-c와 aryl amine의 diazonium salts를 반응시켜서 얻었다. 합성한 azo 유도체 화합물 3a-l을 DMF 용매 속에서 cupric acetate와 산화반응시켜서 2,4,6-triaryl-2,4-dihydropyrazolo [4,3-d]-1,2,3-triazoles 4a-l을 합성하였으며, 합성한 cyclic triazoles에 대한 형광 특성을 측정하였다. 한편, Diazotization of sodium nitrite/ortho-phosphoric acid 조건에서 5-amino-1,3-diaryl-1H-pyrazoles 1a-c를 diazotization화 반응시킨 다음에, aryl amines과 반응시켜서 o-aminoazo compounds 5a-f를 합성하였다. 합성한 화합물 5a-f를 pyridine/cupric acetate 반응 조건에서 반응시켜서 triazole 6a-f들을 합성하였으며, 얻어진 화합물 6a-f을 aryl diazonium salts과 반응시켜서 화합물 7a-j을 합성하였다. 합성한 염료 화합물을 polyesters에 분산염료와 정착성을 측정하였다.

(1-x)ZnWO4-xTiO2 세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전특성 (Microwave Dielectric Properties of (1-x)ZnWO4-xTiO2 Ceramics)

  • Microwave dielectric properties of (1-x)ZnW $O_4$-xTi $O_2$ ceramic systems were investigated with calcination temperatures and Ti $O_2$ contents. The ZnW $O_4$ ceramic could be suitably sintered at 1075$^{\circ}C$ and showed the dielectric constant of 13.6, quality factor(Q$\times$ $f_{O}$value) of 22,000 and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency($\tau$$_{f}$) of -65$\pm$2ppm/$^{\circ}C$. Increasing the amount of Ti $O_2$ in the range of 0.25 to 0.45 mol, the dielectric constant and $\tau$$_{f}$ increased due to the role of Ti $O_2$ but the quality factor decreased due to the increase of phase boundaries. The 0.7ZnW $O_4$-0.3Ti $O_2$ ceramic showed the dielectric constant of 19.8, qualify factor(Q$\times$ $f_{0}$) of 20,000 and $\tau$$_{f}$ of -3$\pm$1ppm/$^{\circ}C$.>.EX>.>.>.

Influence of Fluorine Doping on Hardness and Compressive Stress of the Diamond-Like Carbon Thin Film

  • This study assessed the influences of fluorine introduced into DLC films on the structural and mechanical properties of the sample. In addition, the effects of the fluorine incorporation on the compressive stress in DLC films were investigated. For this purpose, fluorinated diamond-like carbon (F-DLC) films were deposited on cobalt-chromium-molybdenum substrates using radio-frequency plasma-enhanced chemical vapor. The coatings were examined by Raman scattering (RS), Attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic analysis (ATR-FTIR), and a combination of elastic recoil detection analysis and Rutherford backscattering (ERDA-RBS). Nano-indentation tests were performed to measure hardness. Also, the residual stress of the films was calculated by the Stony equation. The ATR-FTIR analysis revealed that F was present in the amorphous matrix mainly as C-F and C-F2 groups. Based on Raman spectroscopy results, it was determined that F made the DLC films more graphitic. Additionally, it was shown that adding F into the DLC coating resulted in weaker mechanical properties and the F-DLC coating exhibited lower stress than DLC films. These effects were attributed to the replacement of strong C = C by feebler C-F bonds in the F-DLC films. F-doping decreased the hardness of the DLC from 11.5 to 8.8 GPa. In addition, with F addition, the compressive stress of the DLC sample decreased from 1 to 0.7 GPa.

글로우방전을 이용한 폴리에스테르 직물의 투습방수성 개질 (Water Repellent Finish of Polyester Fabric Using Glow Discharge Treatment)

  • We have treated polyester fabric with $CF_4,\;C_2F_6,\;SF_6\;and\;C_3F_6$ glow discharge plasmas to develop functional fabrics which preserve moisture transportation and water proofing nature. Modified properties were evaluated by water vapor permeation rate and breakthrough water pressure. The change of surface morphology was observed by SEM. Fiber interstice of the plasma treated fabric was calculated as $0.32{\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, and this value was sufficiently ideal as water repellent material. The moisture transportation of ${CF_4}-treated$ fabric was good as much as untreated fabric, and those of $C_2$F(sub)6-treated, SF(sub)6-treated fabrics were reduced by 1~3%, and that of ${C_3F_6}-treated$ fabric was reduced by 15%. The best treatment condition were 0.06 torr 120 seconds in $CF_4$, 0.05 torr 30 seconds in $SF_6$, 0.08~0.15 torr 90 seconds in $SF_6$ and 0.1 torr 45 seconds in $C_3F_6$ respectively. The grade of moisture transportation effect was $CF_4>C_2F_6>SF_6>>C_3F_6$, and water proofing effect was $C_2F_6{\approx}CF_4>C_3F_6>SF_6$. It was observed by SEM that the thin film was formed on the surface of the treated substrate by the fluorocarbon plasma treatment.
