Thermal Stress Anaysis of Burning Plate by Configuration of Outdoor Gas Boiler (야외용 가스보일러의 연소판 형상에 따른 열응력 해석)

  • This study investigates the result of thermal stress analysis on burning plate by classes at outdoor gas boiler. In the analysis results at the steady state, the maximum stress and deformations are 666,8MPa at A type and 0.20476mm at B type respectively. The deformation becomes larger as the field goes on from the center to the outside at burning plate. As there are 8 types in the order of maximum stress and deformation, F and C type have safest among 8 types respectively. Therefore, F type becomes most excellent on strength and safety among 8 types. By using the analysis result of burning plate model at gas boiler, it is possible to design the model applied practically at the safe component parameters of boiler system.

  • A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing. The FPGA configuration is generally specified using a hardware description language (HDL), similar to that used for an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) (circuit diagrams were previously used to specify the configuration, as they were for ASICs, but this is increasingly rare). Contemporary FPGAs have large resources of logic gates and RAM blocks to implement complex digital computations. In this paper, we implement a system of digital instrumentation using FPGA. This system consists of the trigger part, memory address controller part, control FSM part, Encoder part, LCD controller part. The hardware implement using FPGA and the verification of the operation is done in a PC simulation. The proposed hardware was mapped into Cyclone III EP2C5Q208 from Altera and used 1,700(40%) of Logic Element (LE). The implemented circuit used 24,576-bit memory element with 6-bit input signal. The result from implementing in hardware (FPGA) could operate stably in 140MHz.

  • 복합레진의 중합시 발생하는 수축과 응력은 와동의 형태에 의하여 영향을 받으며 이는 수복재는 물론 접착계면의 물성을 결정하는 요인이 된다. 본 연구는 다양한 C-factor를 갖는 와동에 상아질 접착제 Clearfil SE Bond(Kuraray)를 도포하고 혼합형 복합레진인 Clearfil AP-X(Kuraray)와 미세혼합형의 Esthet-X(Dentsply)를 충전하여 미세인장강도 및 변연누출을 측정 평가함으로써 중합수축이 수복물과 치아계면에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 시행하였다. 98개의 Bovine 하악전치를 이용하여 표면의 상아질을 #600 SiC paper로 연마한 대조군 및 와동의 넓이를 조절하여 C-factor 2.3, 3.0, 3.7이 되도록 제작한 실험군 와동에 복합레진을 충전한 후 37의 증류수에 24시간 보관하였다. 저속 diamond saw(Buehler)를 이용하여 1mm 두께로 수직절단 후 고속 diamond point(#104 Shofu)를 이용하여 단면적 1mm$^2$가 되도록 hour-glass모양으로 형성하여 시편을 제작하였고, Universal testing machine(EZ-Test; Shimadzu, Japan)에 시편을 부착하고 cross head speed 1mm/min으로 인장력을 가하여 미세인장 결합강도를 측정하였다. 각 C-factor에 따른 변연누출실험을 위하여 복합레진이 수복된 치아를 37$^{\circ}C$의 증류수에 24시간 보관한 후 와동을 제외한 부위에 nail varnish를 도포하고 3mol/L silver nitrate용액에 24시간 암보관한 다음 수세하여 현상액에 24시간 경과시킨 후 치아의 장축에 따라 절단하여 침투된 색소의 정도를 광학현미경상에서 40배로 관찰하였다. 각각의 실험결과는 ANOVA/Tukey's test 및 Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric independent analysis와 Mann-Whitney U test에 의하여 통계 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 대조군에 있어서 혼합형 복합레진의 미세인장 결합강도는 미세혼합형에 비하여 높았으며, 실험군 사이에는 유의차를 보이지 않았다. 2.모든 복합레진의 미세인장 결합강도는 와동의 C-factor증가에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타내었고, 혼합형 복합레진의 실험군은 대조군에 비하여 낮게 나타났으며, 미세혼합형 복합레진에서는 유의차를 보이지 않았다. 3. 절단측 및 치은측 변연부의 미세누출정도는 혼합형 복합레진이 미세혼합형에 비하여 대체로 높게 나타났다. 4. 모든 실험군에서 미세누출은 C-factor증가에 따라 증가하였고 절단측에 비하여 치은측 변연이 높게 나타났으나 통계학적 유의차는 보이지 않았다. C-factor의 변화에 대하여 필러함량과 탄성계수가 높은 혼합형 복합레진이 미세혼합형에 비하여 더 민감한 결과를 보인다. 이는 복합레진 수복시 재료의 선택과 중합수축의 적절한 조절이 중요한 요소임을 시사한다.

  • A new low phase noise Dielectric Resonator Parallel Feedback Oscillator(DRPFO) that is proposed in this paper has a simple structure so that it can be fabricated in low cost and with high performance. The proposed DRPFO is in a feedback loop oscillator configuration, which is composed of a low noise amplifier, a power amplifier, a power attenuator, a power divider and a parallel resonator feedback element that consists of a dielectric resonator coupled with two microstrip lines. The measured phase noise of DRPFO was less than -81 dBc/Hz at offset frequency 1 kHz of 10.75 GHz carrier frequency, and the frequency stability of DRPFO was less than $\pm$200 kHz over the temperature range of -40$^{\circ}$C to +60$^{\circ}$C.

  • We have isolated two new cytotoxic polyynes against $L_{1210}$ cell from the root of Panax ginseng. namely acetylpanaxydol and panaxydolchorhydrin. The epoxy group in C-9 and the heptyl group on C-10 of the panaxydol-analogues potentiate the activity. Panaxydol has cis-configuration in epoxy group. There is no diffrernce in activity between cis-. trans- and cis/trans-configurational isomers. The essential structure for the cytotoxicity of panaxydol and its isomers is hept-l-en-4.6-diyn-3-ol.

  • The exo-polysaccharide producing microorganism, Aureobasidium pullulans IMS-822, was isolated and identified from soil. The viscosity-average molecular weight of exo-polysaccharide was calculated as $8.9{\times}10^5$ by Mark-Houwink equation. The sugar component of exo-polysaccharide was determined as glucose by HPLC analysis. The IR spectra indicated that the exo-polysaccharide has an absorption peak at 890 $cm^{-1}$ for the ${\beta}-configuration$ of D-glucan. The $^{13}C$ NMR signal at ${\delta}$ 86.62 ppm arose from the substituted C-3 of glucose. The signal at ${\delta}$ 72.11 ppm was assigned to C-6 of branched ${\beta}-(1{\to}3)-D-glucosyl$ residues. Viscosity and Congo red reaction indicated that {\beta}-(1{\to}3)(1{\to}6)-glucan$ produced by A. pullulans IMS-822 has a highly ordered hydrogen-bond dependent conformation in aqueous solution, which collapses in strong alkaline solution.

  • This paper presented measurement results of scattering characteristics of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma at atmospheric pressure. In this paper, plasma actuator is fabricated by parallel connecting of basic configuration of DBD plasma actuator, then plasma could be generated by applying 14 kV, 4 kHz of high voltage generator. In order to measure the scattering characteristics of DBD plasma, in this paper, two horn antennas and vector network analyzer are used to compare the S-parameter. Because of the structure of fabricated plasma generator, different result is obtained as antenna polarization changes. When antenna polarization is parallel to electrodes of plasma generator, the scattered field is reduced by 2 dB in maximum. In addition, for parallel polarization case, PEC is set up behind the plasma generator to measure backward scattered field. When the observation angles are $40^{\circ}C$ and $60^{\circ}C$, the amount of reduced scattered field is 2 dB in maximum at 5 GHz.

  • The crystal structure of monoethanolamine hydrochloride is triclinic P1 with two formula units in a cell of dimensions a = $4.42\pm0.02$, b = $7.44\pm0.02$, c = $7.48\pm0.02$, $\alpha$ = $102.4\pm0.3$, $\beta$ = $91.1\pm0.3$, $\gamma$ = $77.2\pm0.3^{\circ}.$ The configuration of monoethanolamine is a gauche form with dihedral angle, $90^{\circ}$. The nitrogen atom forms four hydrogen bonds, three to Cl- ions(3.15, 3.24, $3.28\AA)$ and one to a hydroxyl group of another molecule (N${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$O, $2.90{\AA})$. The oxygen also forms two such bonds, one to a Cl- ion $(3.14\AA)$, one to an amine group of another molecule (O${\cdot}{\cdot}{\cdot}$N, $2.90{\AA}).$ Molecules are linked into two-dimensional network by hydrogen bonds.

A Study on Current Blocking Configuration of V-Groove Quantum Wire Laser (V형 양자선 레이저의 전류 차단층에 대한 연구)

  • In order to enhance current Injection efficiency of Y-groove inner strife(VIS) quantum wire lasers, three different current configurations, n-blocking on p-substrate(VIPS), p-n-p-n blocking on n-substrate(VI(PN)nS), p-blocking on n-substrate(VINS) have been designed and fabricated. Among them VIPS laser showed the most stable characteristics of lasing up to 5 mW/facet, a threshold current of 39.9 mA at 818 nm, and an external differential quantum efficiency of 24 %/facet. The current tuning rate was almost linear 0.031 nm/mA, and the temperature tuning rate was measured to be 0.14 nm/$^{\circ}C$.

A Study of Biological Hydrolysis Efficiency for Methane Digestion with Municipal Solid Waste (메탄발효를 위한 도시쓰레기 초고온 가용화 방법의 효율성 검토)

  • The efficiency of biological hydrolysis at $80^{\circ}C$ on municipal solid waste mixed with anaerobic digestion sludge was investigated in 100L batch reactors. The hydrolysis effect was observed within a day, when the hydrolysis reactor used for a pre-treatment reactor for methanogenesis, and the effect was observed during two days, When the reactor used for post-treatment reactor. For both configurations, methane production rate decreased, when hydrolysis was carried out more than a day. Gaseous ammonia in the hydrolysis reactors was successtully removed by the ammonia stripping system. Microbial diversity analysis on the hydrolysis reactors indicated dependency of microbial diversity on the configuration of the hydrolysis reactors. Carbohydrate and lactate degrading microbes dominated in the hydrolysis reactor, when the hydrolysis reactor used for a pre-treatment reactor for methanogenesis, while protein degrading microbes dominated in the post-treatment reactor.
