The classes of $G_C$ homological modules over commutative ring, where C is a semidualizing module, extend Holm and J${\varnothing}$gensen's notions of C-Gorenstein homological modules to the non-Noetherian setting and generalize the classical classes of homological modules and the classes of Gorenstein homological modules within this setting. On the other hand, transfer of homological properties along ring homomorphisms is already a classical field of study. Motivated by the ideas mentioned above, in this article we will investigate the transfer properties of C and $G_C$ homological dimension.

Let R be a commutative ring. An R-module E is said to be regular injective provided that Ext¹_R(R/I, E) = 0 for any regular ideal I of R. We first show that the class of regular injective modules have the hereditary property, and then introduce and study the regular injective dimension of modules and regular global dimension of rings. Finally, we give some homological characterizations of total rings of quotients and Dedekind rings.

Some properties of strongly Gorenstein C-projective, C-injective and C-flat modules are studied, mainly considering these properties under change of rings. Specifically, the completions of rings, the localizations and the polynomial rings are considered.

Let S and R be rings and _SC_R a semidualizing bimodule. We introduce the notion of G_C-FP_n-injective modules, which generalizes G_C-FP-injective modules and G_C-weak injective modules. The homological properties and the stability of G_C-FP_n-injective modules are investigated. When S is a left n-coherent ring, several nice properties and new Foxby equivalences relative to G_C-FP_n-injective modules are given.

We use methods of relative homological algebra on the category C(mod${\Lambda}$), of complexes of finitely generated modules over an artin algebra ${\Lambda}$, to give some characterizations of almost split sequences.
