비탄성변위비와 붕괴강도비를 이용한 MPA기반의 IDA 해석법 (MPA-based IDA Using the Inelastic Displacement ratio, CR and the Collapse Intensity, RC)

  • 본 연구는 Modal Pushover Analysis(MPA)를 기반으로 비탄성 변위비(inelastic displacement ratio, $C_R$)와 붕괴 강도비(collapse strength ratio, $R_C$)를 이용한 간략한 Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA) 해석법을 제안해 냈다. 이 해석법은 선형 또는 비선형 동적해석 수행 없이 다자유도 시스템의 응답을 계산하기 때문에 간단하게 IDA곡선을 얻을 수 있다. 제안한 방법의 정확성은 6층, 9층, 20층의 철골 모멘트 골조를 대상으로 44개의 지진데이터를 사용하였으며 본 연구에서 제안하는 MPA를 이용한 $C_R-R_C$ IDA 해석결과와 비선형 동적해석 (Nonlinear Response History Analysis)을 통한 IDA 응답값, 그리고 각 주요모드의 비선형 동적해석을 통한 MPA-IDA 응답 값을 비교하여 타당성을 확인하였다. MPA를 이용한 $C_R-R_C$ IDA 해석법은 반복된 비선형 동적해석 과정이 없기 때문에 계산시 소요시간이 가장 작았으며 비교적 정확한 결과를 나타냈다.

Influence of Rain Tree Pod Meal Supplementation on Rice Straw Based Diets Using In vitro Gas Fermentation Technique

  • The objective of this study was to determine the roughage to concentrate (R:C) ratio with rain tree pod meal (RPM) supplementation on in vitro fermentation using gas production technique. The experiment design was a 6${\times}$4 factorial arrangement in a CRD. Factor A was 6 levels of R:C ratio (100:0, 80:20, 60:40, 40:60, 20:80 and 0:100) and factor B was 4 levels of RPM (0, 4, 8 and 12 mg). It was found that gas kinetic, extent rate (c) was linearly increased (p<0.01) with an increasing level of concentrate while cumulative gas production (96 h) was higher in R:C of 40:60. In addition, interaction of R:C ratio and RPM level affected $NH_3-N$ and IVDMD and were highest in R:C of 0:100 with 0, 4 mg of RPM and 40:60 with 8 mg of RPM, respectively. Moreover, interaction of R:C ratio and RPM level significantly increased total volatile fatty acids and propionate concentration whereas lower acetate, acetate to propionate ratios and $CH_4$ production in R:C of 20:80 with 8 mg of RPM. Moreover, the two factors, R:C ratio and RPM level influenced the protozoal population and the percentage of methanogens in the total bacteria population. In addition, the use of real-time PCR found that a high level of concentrate in the diet remarkably decreased three cellulolytic bacteria numbers (F. succinogenes, R. flavefaciens and R. albus). Based on this study, it is suggested that the ratio of R:C at 40:60 and RPM level at 12 mg could improve ruminal fluid fermentation in terms of reducing fermentation losses, thus improving VFA profiles and ruminal ecology.

Flexural behavior of reinforced lightweight concrete beams under reversed cyclic loading

  • This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation on the flexural behavior of doubly reinforced lightweight concrete (R.L.C.) beams tested under cyclic loading. A total of 20 beam specimens were tested. Test results are presented in terms of ductility index, the degradation of strength and stiffness, and energy dissipation. The flexural properties of R.L.C. beam were compared to those of normal concrete (R.C.) beams. Test results show that R.L.C. beam with low and medium concrete strength (20, 40MPa) performed displacement ductility similar to the R.C. beam. The ductility can be improved by enhancing the concrete strength or decreasing the tension reinforcement ratio. Using lightweight aggregate in concrete is advantageous to the dynamic stiffness of R.L.C. beam. Enhancement of concrete strength and increase of reinforcement ratio will lead to increase of the stiffness degradation of beam. The energy dissipation of R.L.C beam, similar to R.C. beam, increase with the increase of tension reinforcement ratio. The energy dissipation of unit load cycle for smaller tension reinforcement ratio is relatively less than that of beam with higher reinforcement ratio.

  • We can consider that the study on early evaluation of strength of concrete is useful to raise safety of building and utility of quality control of concrete is useful to raise safety of building and utility of quality control of concrete. In this paper, was proposed to method early to predict strength of concrete with key parameters, such as Water/Cement(W/C) ratio and Sand / Aggregate(S/A) ratio. Through a series of experiment, the obtained results are summarized as follow. $\circled1$ The ratio of resistance was decteased as the increase of W/C ratio. $\circled2$ The maximum value for the ratio of resistance and compressive strength was presented in the case of 40% S/A ratio. $\circled3$ The relationship. of the ratio of resistance and compressive strength on 28days according to the change of W/C and S/A ratio is to be: $F_{28}=-0.00104R^2 + 2.263R - 935.5$ (W/C Ratio) $F_{28} = 0.007R^2 - 10.693R - 4269.1$ (S/A Ratio)

방사선조사에 의한 R-C 직.병렬회로에서의 손상효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Irradiation Effect by $Co^{60}$ of the R-C Series-Parallel Circuits)

  • 원자력 산업에서 사용되고 있는 모든 재료의 특성은 방사선조사에 의한 손상효과로 변하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 저항과 콘덴서의 직.병렬회로에서의 방사선조사에 의한 전기적 특성이 여하히 변화되는가를 연구하였다. 연구결과 얻어진 주요 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. R-C 직렬회로에서 조사선량이 $10^6[r]$까지는 임피던스변화율이 증가되다가 그 이상의 조사선량에서는 포화상태에 이르게 되는데 포화상태에서의 증가율은 1.25[%]정도이었다. 2. R-C 직렬회로에서 조사선량이 $10^6[r]$ 까지는 증가변화율이 감소되다가 그 이상의 조사선량에서는 포화상태에 이르게 되는데 감소율은 0.5[%]정도이었다. 3. R-C 병렬회로에서는 방사선량이 $10^6[r]$까지는 임피던스변화율이 증가되다가 그 이상의 방사선량에서는 포화상태에 이르게 되는데 증가율은 0.5[%]정도이었다. 4. R-C 병렬회로에서는 방사선량이 $10^6[r]$까지는 감소되다가 그 이상의 방사선량에서는 포화상태에 이르게 되는데 감소율은 1.3[%]정도이었다.

경기도 일개 종합병원에서 건강검진을 받은 한국 성인의 혈청 De Ritis 비율과 당뇨 검사와의 관계 (Relationship between the Serum De Ritis Ratio and Diabetes Tests in Korean Adults Who Underwent Health Screening at a General Hospital in Gyeonggi-do)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 당뇨 검사결과와 간기능검사와의 관계연구이다. 간성당뇨는 제2형 당뇨와는 다르게 간기능 이상으로 기인하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 간기능 검사의 주요 효소검사인 아스파르트산 아미노전이효소(aspartate aminotransferase, AST), 알라닌 아미노전이효소(alanine aminotransferase, ALT) 그리고 AST/ALT ratio (De Ritis ratio)와 당뇨관련 검사와의 관계를 주로 확인하였다. 연구 결과 AST와 글루코스(glucose) (r=0.14, P<0.01); ALT 및 글루코스(r=0.21, P<0.01); AST 및 당화혈색소(HbAlc) (r=0.15, P<0.01); ALT와 HbAlc (r=0.20, P<0.01), 모든 변수는 양의 상관관계를 나타났으며, De Ritis ratio는 글루코스 (r=-0.20, P<0.01)와 당화혈색소 (r=-0.14, P<0.01)와 음의 상관관계를 보였다. AST와 ALT 그리고 De Ritis ratio 를 독립변수로 하고 글루코스 (R2=0.05) 와 HbA1c (R2=0.04) 를 종속변수로 하여 회귀분석한 결과 독립변수는 종속변수에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. AST는 ALT 보다 혈당과 당화혈색소에서 상관관계가 낮게 나타났으며, ALT가 증가하는 것은 즉, De Ritis ratio 감소의 원인이 된다. 따라서, De Ritis ratio는 당뇨관련 검사와의 관계에서 의미가 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

Influence of Yeast Fermented Cassava Chip Protein (YEFECAP) and Roughage to Concentrate Ratio on Ruminal Fermentation and Microorganisms Using In vitro Gas Production Technique

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effects of protein sources and roughage (R) to concentrate (C) ratio on in vitro fermentation parameters using a gas production technique. The experimental design was a $2{\times}5$ factorial arrangement in a completely randomized design (CRD). Factor A was 2 levels of protein sources yeast fermented cassava chip protein (YEFECAP) and soybean meal (SBM) and factor B was 5 levels of roughage to concentrate (R:C) ratio at 80:20, 60:40, 40:60, 20:80, and 0:100, respectively. Rice straw was used as a roughage source. It was found that gas production from the insoluble fraction (b) of YEFECAP supplemented group was significantly higher (p<0.05) than those in SBM supplemented group. Moreover, the intercept value (a), gas production from the insoluble fraction (b), gas production rate constants for the insoluble fraction (c), potential extent of gas production (a+b) and cumulative gas production at 96 h were influenced (p<0.01) by R:C ratio. In addition, protein source had no effect (p>0.05) on ether in vitro digestibility of dry matter (IVDMD) and organic (IVOMD) while R:C ratio affected the IVDMD and IVOMD (p<0.01). Moreover, YEFECAP supplanted group showed a significantly increased (p<0.05) total VFA and $C_3$ while $C_2$, $C_2:C_3$ and $CH_4$ production were decreased when compared with SBM supplemented group. In addition, a decreasing R:C ratio had a significant effect (p<0.05) on increasing total VFA, $C_3$ and $NH_3$-N, but decreasing the $C_2$, $C_2:C_3$ and CH4 production (p<0.01). Furthermore, total bacteria, Fibrobacter succinogenes, Ruminococcus flavefaciens and Ruminococcus albus populations in YEFECAP supplemented group were significantly higher (p<0.05) than those in the SBM supplemented group while fungal zoospores, methanogens and protozoal population remained unchanged (p>0.05) as compared between the two sources of protein. Moreover, fungal zoospores and total bacteria population were significantly increased (p<0.01) while, F. succinogenes, R. flavefaciens, R. albus, methanogens and protozoal population were decreased (p<0.01) with decreasing R:C ratio. In conclusion, YEFECAP has a potential for use as a protein source for improving rumen fermentation efficiency in ruminants.

파형강관으로 내부구속된 중공 R.C 교각의 연성도 (Ductility Characteristics of a Hollow R.C Pier Internally Confined by a Corrugated Steel Tube)

  • When the weight if a concrete member makes problems, or when the cost of the concrete is relatively high, it may be economical to use a hollow concrete member. But a hollow R.C column may have poor ductility because of the brittle failure at the inner face of the hollow R.C column. This brittle failure results from the absence of the confinement at the inner face of the hollow R.C column. To avoid this brittle failure an internally confined hollow R.C column by a steel tube was developed before. In this study, a hollow R.C column is internally confined by a corrugated steel tube instead of a general flat steel tube. And a column ductility is performed. Test results show that the energy ductility ratio of a internally confined hollow R.C column by a by a corrugated steel tube corresponds to $80\%$ of the energy ductility ratio of a general solid R.C column.

SA508-3재의 제하컴플라이언스법과 하중비해석을 이용한 파괴저항곡선 평가 (J-R Curve Characterization by Load Ratio Analysis and Unloading Compliance Method for SA508 C-3 steel)

  • The fracture resistance curve is one of most important and design techniques employed in nuclear pressure vessel structures. This study is to evaluate the J-R curve characteristics for the SA508C-3 by the unloading compliance method and load rato analysis. The effect of strain aging for the exponential correlation of the J-R curve in this metal are investigated at room temperature, 20$0^{\circ}C$ and 30$0^{\circ}C$. The load ratio analysis method can evaluate the J-R curve by using the simple tension load-displacement curve only without the repeat of the unloading and loading. Therefore, the analysis by the proposed load ratio method has a merit, in comparison with the unloading compliance method, which can measure the crack length without the precision measurement equipment.

Influence of Postconceptional Age on the Renal Biomarkers in Very-Low-Birth-Weight Infants

  • Purpose: We investigated whether consecutive levels of new emerging renal biomarkers, including serum cystatin C (CysC) and urinary neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL)/creatinine (Cr) ratio, were affected by postconceptional age in very-low-birth-weight (VLBW) infants. Methods: Repeatedly measured samples for each infant were divided into four groups according to postnatal age: at birth (stage I), 3 to 7 days postnatally (stage II), 8 to 28 days postnatally (stage III), and >28 days postnatally (stage IV). The association between renal biomarkers and postconceptional age was assessed using Pearson's correlation coefficient, and the mean values of renal biomarkers in the four stages were compared using repeated-measures analysis of variance. Results: For samples measured at birth, serum CysC (r=-0.358, P=0.032) and urinary NGAL/Cr ratio (r=-0.522, P=0.001) were negatively correlated with gestational age, whereas serum Cr (r=0.148, P=0.390) was not. In addition, for all samples measured, serum CysC (r=-0.209, P=0.012), urinary NGAL/Cr ratio (r=-0.536, P<0.001), and serum Cr (r=-0.311, P<0.001) were negatively correlated with postconceptional age. Compared with the mean values of the postnatal age-specific stages, serum CysC showed no significant differences in any of the four stages. However, the urinary NGAL/Cr ratio in stage IV was significantly different from those in stages I to III. Conclusion: Although urinary NGAL/Cr ratio and serum CysC were negatively correlated with postconceptional age considering renal development, serum CysC showed no significant differences in any of the four postnatal age-specific stages. Urinary NGAL/Cr ratio at >28 days postnatally seems to be more affected by postconceptional age than serum CysC in VLBW infants.
