We performed this study to determine the effect of Bu-Zhong-Yi-Qi-Tang, as a prescription of traditional Oriental medicine, and its major ingredients on jejunal crypt survival, endogenous spleen colony formation, and apoptosis in jejunal crypt cells of mice irradiated with high and low dose of r-radiation. Bu-Zhong-Yi-Qi-Tang administration before irradiation protected the jejunal crypts (p<0.0001), increased the formation of endogenous spleen colony (p<0.05) and reduced the frequency of radiation-induced apoptosis (p<0.05). Recently the development of small hydropower generation with using water pipes is revitalized by the water works facilities. However, when the tubine generator is in case of emergency stop by the internal and external accidents, it causes water hammer in water pipes and suspension of water supply. To prevent these problems of small hydropower generator, we has analyzed water supply patterns, installation position and water pipe systems.

We performed this study to determine the effect of Panax ginseng and its fractions on jejunal crypt survival, endogenous spleen colony formation, and apoptosis in jejunal crypt cells of mice irradiated with high and low dose of $\gamma$-irradiation. The radioprotective effect of ginseng was compared with the effect of diethyldithiocarbamate (DDC). Ginseng administration before irradiation protected the jejunal crypts (p<0.005), increased the formation of endogenous spleen colony (p<0.005) and reduced the frequency of radiation-induced apoptosis (p<0.005). When MWK (Multiaxial Warp Knitted Fabric) composites are applied for the structures, the connections of each component using mechanical fastening is needed. The local contact between the bolted joint and the composite laminates may induce high stress concentration or breakdown in the laminates for the mechanical joints. There for, it is strongly required to study the characteristics of mechanically joints of MWK composite laminates. In this study, stress analysis near the hole boundary of MWK composite laminate is conducted with various geometric factors under different loadings. In the case of multi-pin loaded MWK composite laminates, the results show that the types of loadings and geometric factors of mechanical joints have a significant influence on the joint performances.

본 논문은 UWB(Ultra WideBand) 기술에 기반한 지반탐사레이더(Ground Penetrating Radar, GPR)용으로 개발된 광대역 안테나의 특성에 관해 나타낸다. UWB 기술의 핵심은 주기가 수 나노초 이하의 짧은 임펄스를 이용하는 것으로 지반탐사레이더는 이 임펄스 기술을 이용함으로서 탐사 능력과 해상도를 높일 수 있다. 임펄스 전송을 위해 안테나는 넓은 대역폭, 크기, 무게, 가격 등 지반탐사레이더에 적용될 수 있는 조건을 만족해야 함으로 안테나의 설계는 이에 부합할 수 있는 다이폴 안테나를 선택하여 개발하였다. 개발된 안테나의 성능을 검증하기 위해 시뮬레이션과 실험을 실시하였고 그 결과 설계된 안테나의 대역폭이 0.5 GHz에서 2.7 GHz로 2.2 GHz(138%)의 사용대역을 나타냄으로서 UWB 기술에 기반한 지반탐사레이더용으로 유용함을 확인하였다.

Many domestic organizations are pushing ahead with small hydropower business to develop a renewable energy. In addition each organization gradually spreads small hydropower business with searching the best site for it. And KOWACO(Korea Waters Resources Corporation) answers a purpose of the government policy to spread the wide use of a renewable energy. This study explains the researching programs for the best development sites for small hydropower generation with using water pipes managed and controled by KOWACO.

The lightweight industry continuously demands reliable near-net-shape fabrication where the preform just out-of-machine is close to the final shape. In this study, different half-finished preforms are made π-beams. Then the preforms are unfolded to make a 3D shape with integrated structure of fibers, providing easier handling in the further processing of composites. Several 3D textile preforms are made using weaving technique and are examined after resin infusion for mechanical properties such as inter-laminar shear strength, compressive strength and tensile strength. Considering that the time and labor are important parameters in modern production, 3D weaving technique reduces the manufacturing steps and therefore the costs, such as hand-lay up of textile layers, cutting, and converting into preform shape. Hence this 3D weaving technique offers many possibilities for new applications with efficient composite production.

The purpose of this study is to develop a system that can be used in the offline replay 'Go(Baduk)' game using the motion detection of image processing techniques. This program will analyse the video of Go(Baduk) game and save the game's data, to help amateur Go(Baduk) players who want to replay their own games easily.
