The Impact of Visual Factors of Outdoor Signboards on Value Judgement - Focused Around the Signboards of Merrymaking Salons in 4 Areas of Busan - (옥외간판의 시각적 요소가 소비자 가치판단에 미치는 영향 -부산 4개 지역의 유흥업소 간판을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims at investigating the influences exerted by the visual elements of outdoor signboard on consumers' capacity to make judgment on values. Therefore, it intends at studying the values displayed by signboards. As the phase one of the investigation, on-site study has been performed to photograph signboards of the entertainment and amusement business premises in 4 regions of Busan, thus to investigate and analysis the photographed data. For the second phase, survey was peformed on the basis of the analyzed data to select 15 signboards to be used in making judgement of values based on results of frequency measure per each category of geographical region, business type and three grades of the high, medium and low. In the third phase, survey was peformed on the items of value (A-G) to analyze consumer values. Finally, the fourth phase was carried out to compare and analyze the actual values of business premisses against that of the consumers. The result of study displayed that the effect exerted by visual elements of signboards on consumers is not of simple information provision, but is of essential factor to serve as the foundation of added values for business premises.

  • Since 80th, in the monetary markets due to the escalation of creditable promptness dealing of financial goods, Korea monetary business has been confronted with structual contradictions. The first like a men power reduction, inorder to meet and satisfying with cost reduction policy of the holding firms and secondly, escalation and expention of business networks or facilities inorder to meet and satis~'ing with customers continuously seeking for prompt, acurate, and helpfulness service nearly like one similar to a door to door service. Accordingly, the firms eventually poured mere sweaty money into procuring such devices for upgrading. On the contrary, however, regardless the escalation monetary expenditure may be, inorder to promote quality of the same devices are keen necessary because present days customer groups were tended to receives ample service almost like door to door service without moving too$$\mu$h apart from the immediate spot where they belongs tl or veryspot of where actually they spend instead of deep consideration of natures, quality or sttractiveness of service medias what they can received from. Under the present circumstance, the financial business firms, however, would highly suffering and recei\ulcornerves pressures from imblalance natures ofincoming and out go of the business budget due to excessive inc1ease of managerial expences. For these reasons, therefor, in order to solves, compensates, improves, and developes most effective fina\ulcornerncial service for customers can use under most pleasant environment, the establishment of adequate standardization of such service devices based on the foregoing environmental circumstances. This analytical study, therefor, mainly aimed and emphasized based on pre- estimatimation of proper de\ulcornervlopment and use of the unattended servicing devices such as Cash Dispenser and Auto Teller Machine bygeneralization, automating. and innovation of design to meet compactness and door to door like convenient service for customers which can be achieved by performing constant comparative analysis and continual study toward development of such devices those of which produced by Five (5) major domestic producers aro~nd the country.

  • Intangible Culture Heritage can show its face only by representation of people in no form. Accordingly, if there are not people who represent Intangible Culture Heritage or records which is about Intangible Culture Heritage, we can see its appearance any more. Now on, Intangible Culture Heritage preservation policy of Korea is incomplete, so polices that Intangible Culture Heritage keeps on its values permanently, are essential. This study starting from these critical mind, suggests documentation method of Gangneung Danoje. This study designs documentation plans of Intangible Culture Heritage considering whore its whole lifecyle that produced, keened, used, preserved. To document the Gangneung Danoje, the target of documentation is selected and divided as ceremony, transmit from generation to generation, related data. the ceremony and transmit from generation to generation of Gangneung Danoje are recognized by building the business process, so records that produces whenever business act produce, subjects who produce the records, the spot where records are produced. A related data is not the target of documentation produced as continual business, but something to worthy of keeping as records is selected. Through investigation of the ceremony, transmit from generation to generation, and related data, this study selects objects to documentation and suggests method of documentation and subjects who document records.

A Case Study on the Risk Management for the Long-term Preservation Business Activities Related to Electronic Records (전자기록 장기보존 위험관리 사례)

  • This paper showed results of the risk management project in detail which was conducted by National Archives of Korea(NAK) in 2010. In the project NAK examined its long-term preservation business of electronic records using DRAMBORA(Digital Repository Audit Method Based on Risk Assessment). NAK has defined 44 different risk elements related to its business activities, assessed and classified them into several grades according to the severity calculated by risk probability score and risk potential impact score, and developed precise management plans for two of the most serious risks. This paper introduced the management plan for one of them. The risk was numbered with NR04 and described by 'Loss of integrity of records information'. This paper explained mitigation strategies, contingency organization, disaster control responsibilities, and personal mission cards for the NR04. This paper planned to give comprehensive understandings to Records Management Organizations about the risk management approaches as an effective way for business management through the case study.

A Study on the Characteristics of Lawsuit Records as a Case File: Based on the Lawsuit Records of Korea Legal Aid Corporation (소송기록의 사안파일 특성 연구 - 대한법률구조공단의 소송기록을 중심으로 -)

  • Some records have to be classified not according to their business function but according to their case because of the characteristics of the organization's business. Examples of this are case files, criminal files, lawsuit files, personal files, medical files, and project files. The case files are made according to standard business processes. Case files are filled with records of a series of activities and these records, which are made while carrying out various functions, reenact the multilevel process of a case. This study organized the implications of managing case files by examining the composition of lawsuit records and deducting characteristics in management. To do this, first, this study analyzed the composition of the lawsuit records that Korea Legal Aid Corporation produced and managed. Second, this study confirmed how the characteristics of case files are reflected in the lawsuit records of Korea Legal Aid Corporation. Third and lastly, this study searched how the lawsuit files are managed and used through the example of Korea Legal Aid Corporation.

  • Requested from the Andong MBC station to do visualization work on hahoe Pyulshin-gut (Hahoe Mask Dance Drama) of Hahoe village, the traditional cultural asset of Andong Province, as a part of specialization project for local cultural asset, this study describes the work process and result for about 3 months from June 1, 1998 to August 20, 1998. In addition, this study describes the data collection at the fundamental preliminary research stage, analysis process and full-swing artwork process among the work process as well as the final visual type. This study is concluded with the summery on the problem and point of consideration when local self-governing organization do visualization work on character business or traditional asset similar to this project.

  • The school records are having lots of problems in the records management by the reason that general teachers who belongs to an elementary and a secondary school, were producing and managing all the records, they don't have any knowledge on the records management system. in this paper, tried to consider the plan of the school records classification scheme and record management system under the research on the actual condition of the management system and problem features. The first plan for managing is to complete the system of business classification scheme, the standardization of records management and develop manuals and guidelines, and the second is the range expansion of managing and reinforcing the appraisal procedures.

A Study on the Management and Improvement of the Government Publication by the Metropolitan Government (광역자치단체 정부간행물의 관리실태와 개선방안 연구)

  • Government publications at public institutions are data that are intended to convey the purpose of an institution or the performance of its business to the public or inside the institution. The management of government publications has become increasingly important under the framework of laws and systems, but matters concerning the nature and value of government publications have not been carried out at records management sites. The Act focused on the archives of the six metropolitan government, and presented issues and improvement measures for efficient management of government publications. To that end, the government should maintain a consistent payment system for publications. As payment method and payment book data in government publications are presented differently by law, a system for integrated management should be established to provide brief information and original information. Second, it is necessary to establish an administrative system that meets the storage environment. The publication registration and payment book system presented by the government's publication guidelines is the central system of the National Archives and Records Service, so it is not an efficient system in the agency archives. Third, support should be provided to recognize the value of government publications and to preserve and manage them in the long term. To dispose of the government publications, a realistic classification method, integrated and controlled program should be presented, and criteria for users using the service should be provided. Fourth, it is the establishment of an integrated management system for government publications. The National Archives Service, the National Central Library, and the National Assembly Library should simultaneously build an abstract of information and original information so that they can be managed systematically and efficiently.

A Study on the Recognition of University Larchive and its Practical Operation Plans (대학교 라카이브(Larchive) 인식 조사 및 실무 운영 방안)

  • The cooperation between archives and libraries is necessary for the management of limited operational space and the improvement of work efficiency. "Larchive" is one of the model of cooperation between libraries and archives, so it can be an alternative plan for institutions that face difficulties in collaborating through "Larchiveum" - growing model of cooperation between libraries, archives, and museums. This study presents the recognition of Larchive to university archivists and librarians, and suggests a practical operation plan for cooperation between the archive and library. As a result, "Larchive" was relatively less aware of archivists and librarians, but in the practical point of view, respondents were fully aware of the need for cooperation between archives and libraries. In particular, Larchive was presented as a rational alternative model for both of the groups. And the need for material cooperation can be confirmed through the recognition survey, and the improvement plan for business cooperation can be confirmed through the FGI. Some prerequisites are proposed such as securing a collaborative workplace, assignment of budget and manpower. Through the results, this study presented practical operational plans for organizational cooperation in the form of Larchive, focusing on the perspectives of "teaching and learning support", "research support services", "curation services", "collection and management of school history data", "cooperation for evaluation", and drew discussion points.
