Poverty is often referred to as a phenomenon of scarcity, inadequacy or instability of income. Besides, poverty can also cause health issues, exacerbate social problems, leading to isolation, discrimination and loss of a bright future. Lately, the role of zakat (the compulsory giving of a set proportion of one's wealth to charity) as a useful tool in combating poverty has been highlighted since zakat collected will be distributed specifically to the poor and needy groups. This paper seeks to assess the role of zakat in combating poverty among recipients. A questionnaire was distributed to 300 participants selected from the list of recipients who received assistance from Zakat institutions. A cluster random sampling has been utilized to select sampling from the target population. The data were analyzed using SPSS to provide descriptive analysis. Past evidence has shown how zakat has able to transform the recipient into a payer especially through education or business assistance. Proper management of zakat institution is seen as a powerful mechanism to facilitate community development and to strengthen the Muslim economy. Results show the importance of zakat in the effort to eradicate poverty and further able to improve the asnaf's quality of life.

Purpose One of the success factors of information system projects is to reduce requirements uncertainty through user engagement. So, in many recent IS development environment, a business analyst or business analysts are positioned between users and developers to drive user engagement to reduce requirements uncertainty. But, there are few studies that research about the competencies of business analysts for training and staffing. So, this study analyzed which underlying and practical competencies that positively influence user engagement are required. Design/methodology/approach The level of underlying and practical competencies required for business analysts and the level of user enagement in the IS development environment are collected through the survey. And, the causal relationship between the construct concepts which are underlying competencies, practical competencies and the user participation is analzed through the PLS analysis. Findings The results of this study show that the practial competencies of business analysts that positively have a significant impact on user engaement were studied as requirements development skills. Additionally, the underlying competencies of business analysts which have a significant impact on requirements development skills were examined as business knowledge and interaction skills rather than technical knowledge and communication skills.

This research investigates several essential topics of m-business by conducting a questionnaire to the professional experts. The topics include the market structure and business, the demand for available m-business service and its development, the market size and market growth factors, the service fee, the core technologies and technology development prediction. This paper contributes to the development of m-business in that it provides criteria and policies for more active and efficient treatment of m-business market under IMT2000 environment and also offers guides and plans of m-business activation for both government and enterprise.

e-Business 인력은 정보기술(Information Technology)과 비즈니스 프로세스에 대한 지식을 모두 겸비하여야 한다. 그러나 현재 국내의 인력양성 정책이나 교육 시스템은 이러한 e-Business 인력의 특성을 고려하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 e-Business 인력을 업무 기능별로 분류하고 정의하여 e-Business 인력분류체계를 제시하고 이러한 인력분류체계를 이용하여 국내 e-Business 인력현황을 조사하고, 인력 요구사항과e-Business 교육 프로그램에 대한 기존 연구를 바탕으로 e-Business 인력양성에 적합한 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다.

본 연구는 융합전문가 협동을 중심으로 특허경영이 신사업 개발 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구이다. 기존의 연구는 특허경영에 관해 정량적인 특허지표를 통해 사업성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이 대부분이어서 특허 경영이 융합전문가 협동을 통해 신사업 개발 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구가 매우 미흡한 실정이었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 기존의 특허 경영이 신사업 개발 성과에 미치는 영향과 융합전문가 협동을 중심으로 특허경영이 신사업 개발성과에 미치는 영향의 인과관계를 살펴보았으며, 가설 실증분석 검증 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특허경영은 매개변수인 융합 전문가 협동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특허경영은 융합 전문가 육성, 융합전문가 활용에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 특허경영은 신사업 개발 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특허경영은 사업의 성공 여부, 목표 매출액 달성 여부, 새로운 시장 개척, 새로운 기술의 개발, 고객 요구사항의 반영정도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 융합 전문가 협동을 매개로 한 특허경영은 신사업 개발 성과 중 재무적성과에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 융합 전문가 협동을 매개로 한 특허경영은 신사업 개발 성과 중 비 재무적성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 재무적 성과로는 사업 성공 여부, 목표 매출액 달성 여부이며, 비 재무적 성과로는 새로운 기술 개발, 새로운 시장 개척 등이다. 따라서 국내 융합 신사업 개발 기업들의 지속적인 경영성과 창출을 위해서는 정(+)의 영향이 확인된 융합 전문가 협동을 중심으로 새로운 기술 개발과 새로운 시장 개척을 통하여 신사업 개발성과로 연계될 수 있도록 힘써야 함을 시사점으로 제시하고 있다.

2.22-inch qVGA $(240{\times}320)$ amorphous silicon thin film transistor liquid active matrix crystal display (${\alpha}$- Si TFT-AMLCD) panel has been successfully demonstrated employing a 2.5 um fine-patterning technology by a wet etch process. Higher resolution 2.22-inch qVGA LCD panel with an aperture ratio of 58% can be fabricated because the 2.5 um fine pattern formation technique is combined with high thermal photo-resist (PR) development. In addition, a novel concept of unique ${\alpha}$-Si TFT process architecture, which is advantageous in terms of reliability, was proposed in the fabrication of 2.22-inch qVGA LCD panel. Overall results show that the 2.5 um finepatterning is a considerably significant technology to obtain higher aperture ratio for higher resolution ${\alpha}$-Si TFT-LCD panel realization.

최근 국가 연구개발 사업의 관리는 시장 및 고객 지향적인 기술의 개발과 사업화를 통한 성과 지향적인 연구개발의 촉진에 초점이 맞춰져 있다. 연구개발 성과물의 사업화를 위해서는 시장 수요 중심적인 기술개발 노력, 연구개발 계획 및 연구개발 단계에서의 기술 사업화 전략 수립 노력, 연구개발 성과물을 기반으로 사업화를 추진할 민간 기업들과의 의사소통 노력이 필요하며, 이러한 활동들은 비즈니스 모델 개발을 통해 보다 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들은 국가 연구개발 환경에서 비즈니스 모델을 개발하기 위한 체계적인 절차를 제시하는 데 한계를 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 국가 연구개발 환경의 특성과 연구개발 인력 및 외부 비즈니스 전문가의 관점을 고루 반영하여 비즈니스 모델을 개발할 수 있는 체계를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 국가 연구개발 사업 성과물에 대한 비즈니스 모델 개발에 유용한 가이드라인으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

사회적경제의 급속한 발전과 지속적인 생활수준 향상으로 관광산업의 급속한 발전을 위해 유리한 환경이 마련되었다. 고도로 발달된 인터넷 기술은 사람들에게 더 편리한 온라인 여행을 제공했다. 온라인 관광이 빠르게 발전하면서 관광 관련 인터넷 사업도 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 본 연구는 우선 연구 배경과 연구 의의를 소개하고, 온라인 관광 개발 핫스팟, 비즈니스 모델 연구 이슈 등 사회적경제의 발전을 바탕으로 씨트립의 비즈니스 모델 최적화 연구의 필요성을 제시한다. 씨트립은 온라인 여행 산업 및 비즈니스 모델 내·외 연구 현황을 설명하고, 온라인 여행, OTA 비즈니스 모델 등 관련 개념과 이론을 심층적으로 소개·분석하고, 전문가 연구를 기반으로 확대한다. 씨트립의 기존 사업모델의 미흡, 높은 경상운영비, 공급업체의 큰 영향요인, 신사업 개발이 더딘 등 여러 측면이 제시되었고, 이를 해결하기 위한 대안이 제시되었다. 씨트립은 가치 창출과 혁신을 위한 씨트립의 비즈니스 모델 최적화 전략과 고객 가치사슬을 위한 인터넷 비즈니스 모델 최적화 전략 등 지속 가능한 경쟁 우위를 유지했다.

To build a successful information system, design and development should be carried out from the enterprise perspective. A complicated business is represented in various ways as technology advances, and many development methodologies have been studied from the viewpoint of technology and development. Each domain is independently designed and developed from the enterprise perspective, but there would be inclusive parts due to the integrated process wherein the definition, design, and development of business are carried out, and the design is done based on the designer's experience. This study would like to address the technique of designing screens based on the business process of the applications derived from the business. It designs the screens that appear when actual applications are completed, including how the data transfer process in the derived business process is represented and operated on the relevant screens. It designs the screen which is displayed when the actual application is completed and how the data transfer process in the derived business process is represented and operated on the relevant screen. In addition, it designs the DFD representing the overall flow of data for each business to represent the movement procedure between screens in general. Through the design method proposed in this study, the client's requirement could be confirmed to reduce the cost for redevelopment, the problem of communication between designers and developers with various experiences could be reduced, and an efficient design procedure could be provided to persons who lack design experience.
