Factors That Enable Reintermediation

  • Traditional intermediaries refer to service providers such as travel agents, real estate brokers, job agencies and insurance agents which matching services for buyers and suppliers in a traditional market. The introduction of Electronic commerce resulted in the automation of many tasks provided by intermediaries and seemed to eliminate the role of many traditional intermediaries, which is called disintermediation. However, depending on their market power, traditional intermediaries either will be disintermediated or fill new roles by providing added value and assistance, which is called reintermediation. According to the research of Alina M. Chircu et al. there are three conditions for reintermediation for traditional intermediaries. Three conditions are weak appropriability of EC innovations, ownership of co-specialized assets for both market intermediation and EC innovations and economies of scale. Besides these three reintermediation conditions, we hypothesize that leveraging BPO can be a suitable strategy for traditional intermediaries to be transformed into reintermediaries. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is the leveraging of technology or specialist process vendors to provide and manage an organization's critical and/or non-critical enterprise processes and applications. This paper will investigate the relationship between above reintermediation conditions including BPO and reintermediation.

Due to the change of recognition about the information-oriented office and the rapid progress ot the office automation many conventional office environment are changing to the new phase, the intelligent building.   • Workflow means the automation of a business process, in which documents, information or tasks are transferred among participants for business action according to a set of procedural rules, and workflow management system is a system which defines, creates and manages the execution of workflow running one or more workflow engines. In this research, necessity of standardizing current workflow systems is recognized, and problems such as interoperability of current systems, dynamic adaptation to changing business environment and lacking of assessment, management and auditing of business processes are analyzed so that the design and implementation of a workflow system is focused on to offer a solution to the problems. The system is designed and implemented to change dynamically on Run-Time the processes definition defined on Build-Time, and interoperability is enabled by developing workflow engine and related modules based on the WfMC specifications and APIs.

Therefore, this article realized Web Based BPM Group Ware. This article will define Korea Railroad organization and business process in using this Group Ware. And it will introduce Korea Railroad computer manage system of this Group Ware and efficient Korea Railroad Business Process through modeling and operating department work and resources management in Korea Railroad.

  • ChatGPT has had a significant impact on society, business, and academia by influencing individuals and organizations through knowledge generation and supporting users in locating conversational inquiries and answers. It can transform how people seek answers by combining human-like conversational skills with AI. By eradicating the cumbersome process of selecting from multiple options, users can conduct preliminary research or create optimized solutions. The purpose of this research is to investigate how consumers use ChatGPT and digital transformation, specifically in terms of knowledge development, searching and recommending, and optimizing accessible possibilities. Using many linked theories, we address the potential implications and insights that can be gained from ChatGPT's early stages and its integration with other applications such as robotics, service automation, and the metaverse. Finally, the application of ChatGPT has practical, theoretical, and phenomenological impacts, in addition to improving users' experiences.

  • The business card is regarded as the simplest means as well as a tool the most likely to use as a means of sales. Every day, we are exchanging business cards with many customers, but the paper based business card is easy to discard and difficult for searching information on the business card. As a solution, if we take a photographed business card with a smart phone and make it into a database, we can easily obtain customer information we wanted for sales at any time. In this study, we develop an application solution based on electronic business card database that supports sales management. The system operates in a cloud environment and has various decision support functions such as customer's human network management, customer classification, and finding prospective customers.

  • Now a days the banks, with a wide spread of credit transaction practice in every business, offer better services to their customers, while the automation of banking is being made more rapid progress in th light of efficient banking service. For example, it is true that the automation of cash payment for customers goes on its progress and the competition between companies is getting more serious. Lately the banks that pursue "Banking Automation System" expand distribution of cash dispenser for the better electronic computer service and for the better service for their customers in quality. Therefore the makers producing "CD" accelerate their development of CD in various ways in order to secure M/S as the leading group of th field. CD, a kind of an automatic paying, is being used generally, and has various functions and its design is getting more compact than ever. Under this situation, I studied more trustworthy and convenient CD design suggestions in the way of case study on the basis of the process of developing CD and I suggest the better way of developing the design of CD in the future.
