재식밀도차이가 단작택사의 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Plant Density on Growth and Yield of Alisma plantago L. in Mono Cropping)

  • To determine the optimum planting density in Alisma plantago in the southern areas of Korea, Alisma plantago local cultivar was grown under different planting density. The plant height, number of stems and diameter of root were 30cm, 12 and 3.4mm respectively on the planting density, row 20cm $\times$ intrarow 35cm. The fresh yield of root and dry yield of root were 261.2Kg110a, 211.5Kg/10a respectively on the planting density, row 20cm x intrarow 35cm. Therefore, the proper planting density for high yield bumper crop of Alisma plantago for exporting to Japan is planting density with row 20cm $\times$ intrarow 35cm.

차량 뒷바퀴 윤곽선을 이용한 근거리 전방차량인식 (Recognition of a Close Leading Vehicle Using the Contour of the Vehicles Wheels)

  • This paper describes a method for detecting a close leading vehicle using the contour of the vehi-cles rear wheels. The contour of a leading vehicles rear wheels in 속 front road image from a B/W CCD camera mounted on the central front bumper of the vehicle, has vertical components and can be discerned clearly in contrast to the road surface. After extracting positive edges and negative edges using the Sobel op-erator in the raw image, every point that can be recognized as a feature of the contour of the leading vehicle wheel is determined. This process can detect the presence of a close leading vehicle, and it is also possible to calculate the distance to the leading vehicle and the lateral deviation angle. This method might be useful for developing and LSA (Low Speed Automation) system that can relieve drivers stress in the stop-and-go traffic conditions encoun-tered on urban roads.

차체 외부에서의 유동해석 (Flow Analysis on the Outside of Automotive Body)

  • The air resistance about automotive body is studied by the flow analysis in this study. Maximum air flow velocity is shown with 28 to 30 m/s on the upper roof of automotive body. The air flow becomes most regular at automotive body model 3 but the model of 2 or 3 becomes irregular in comparison with the model 1. The maximum air resistance pressure is shown with 413 to 420 Pa at the front bumper of automotive body. The flow velocity at inlet or middle plane of automotive body is shown as the contour same with the model of 1, 2, or 3. But the velocity at outlet plane at model 1 is shown as the contour different with the model of 2 or 3.

  • The photovoltaic(PV) industry has been growing worldwide. Recently, the PV industries not also in the traditional PV advanced countries but also in other countries are rapidly growing. Especially, China has become the largest supplier in the world PV supply side since 2007. Both the world PV supply and demand rose steadily in 2008 like recent bumper years. In 2008, the world solar cell production reached 6.85GW~7.91GW presenting growth of 85% over the previous year. On the demand side, 81 countries contributed to the 5.95GW presenting growth of 110% over the previous year.

저속40%옵셋 충돌시험을 통한 프레임형 승용차량의 손상성수리성에 관한 연구 (Damageability, Repairability of Frame Type Passenger Vehicles at Low Speed 40% Offset Crash Test)

  • For the purpose of evaluation the damage repairability of a Frame Type Passenger vehicle which experienced a Low Speed 40% Offset front and rear Crash Test. tests were made according to the RCAR testing procedures. Test results concluded ; (1) The deceleration at C.G(center of gravity) off 6.9∼11.39 was similar to that for the vehicle. The airbag system was found to affect neither the passenger's safety nor the savings of the repairing costs. (2) In order to improve the repairability of the Frame Type Passenger vehicle after collision should be a higher crash performance of the bumper on the RCAR standards.

영해용선박의 선수형상 설계추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction of the Bow Form Design for Icebreakers)

  • The analysis and investigation are described for White's[2] equations compared to the equations of Runeburg[3] and Milano[5] for continuous icebreaking mode, Tunik[8-1] and Ghoneim[8-2] for ramming icebreaking mode. Calculation results compare reasonably well with published model-scale and full-scale icebreaker data by Baker[1] and Dick[11]. During continuous and ramming mode operation, using characteristics of an incebreaker, down ward force on ice and standard ice thickness broken are predicted. Additionally draft, trim and extraction difficulty are also predicted. The bow part line of an icebreakin $g^{ply}$ vessel is designed aiming to maximize the ice breaking capabiltiy as following conditions-low bow angle[20 degrees] at designed waterline, small spread angle complement [6 degrees] at designed waterline, small spread angle complement [6 degrees] and high propeller thrust [220tons]. with plow, two reamers and wave type bumper.

  • Amid the booming research on new and renewable energy, the photovoltaic(PV) industry has been growing around the PV advanced countries such as Japan, Germany, Europe and USA. In recent years, China became a strong performer in the world PV market share, increasing solar cell production rapidly. Both world solar cell and module production and installation rose steadily in 2006 like recent bumper years. In 2006, the PV industry produced 2.54GW, representing growth of 40percent over the previous year, and the installations reached a record high of 1,744MW.

  • In roll forming process, a sheet metal is continuously progressively formed into a product with required cross-section and longitudinal shape, such as a circular tube with required diameter, wall-thickness and straightness, by passing through a series of forming rolls in arranged in tandem. In this process, each pair of forming rolls installed in a forming machine play a particular role in making up the required cross-section and longitudinal shape of the product. In recent years, that process is often applied to the bumper rail in the automotive industries. In this study, a optimal SILL SIDE manufacturing technology, model deign and proper roll-pass sequences can be suggested by forming number of roll-pass and bending angle. And also effects of the process parameters on the final shape formed by roll forming defects were evaluated.

  • 정격속도 100,000RPM용 원심분리기(centrifuge) 로터베어링계에 대해 회전체동역학 해석이 수행된다. 시스템은 원심분리기 로터, 유연축, 모터 로터와 축, 그리고 모터축 지지용 두 개의 구름베어링으로 구성된다. 설계목표는 정격속도가 위험속도(critical speed)에 대해 충분한 분리여유를 갖고, 위험속도에서 로터의 양호한 불균형응답특성을 이루어 내는 것이다. 후자의 요구조건은, 시스템이 다수의 위험속도를 통과하며 정격속도 주위에서 충분한 분리 여유를 갖지 않을 수도 있기 때문에 특히 중요하다. 시스템에 초유연축(extra-flexible shaft)을 도입함으로써, 비록 1차 위험속도에서 만족스럽지 못한 큰 불균형응답을 가질지라도 고차 위험속도에서 만족스런 작은 불균형응답을 보인다. 1차 위험속도에서 로터의 큰 변위를 억제하기 위해서 범퍼링(bumper ring) 또는 안내베어링(guide bearing)을 유연축의 적절한 위치에 설치할 필요가 있다. 비록 유연축계라 할지라도 정격속도와 가까운 4차 이상의 고차 위험속도를 정확히 규명하기 위해서는 모터의 동역학을 전체시스템에 결합하여야 함을 볼 수 있다. 해석은 유한요소법(finite element method)에 의해 수행된다.

항계내 항로의 해상교통 혼잡도 평가에 관하여 - 울산 신항만의 혼잡도 평가를 기준으로 - (Evaluation of Traffic Congestion in Channels within Harbour Limit -On Channels in Ulsan New Port Development-)

  • Whether over taking or parallel sailing of two or more vessels is allowable on marine traffic route or not, the traffic congestion due to traffic volume has to be evaluated separately. In Gaduk-sudo, overtaking or parallel sailing is so allowable that the Bumper Model is introduced to evaluated the traffic congestion. But the channels within the habour limit such as the route of Ulsan New Port are so prohibited overtaking or parallel sailing that the traffic congestion has to be evaluated by using theoretical traffic capacity or by traffic simulation. In this paper, the congestion of Southern New Port and Mipo Port was evaluated the congestion by using theoretical traffic capacity and the other area of Ulsan Port by traffic simulation. The incresed traffic volumes on Ulsan Channels according to Ulsan New Port Development in 2011 were evaluated to have no effect with the traffic congestion.
