초고층 건물의 시공 중 안정성 검토를 위한 시공단계해석 (Construction Sequence Analysis for Checking Stability in High-Rise Building under Construction)

  • Due to recent trends of the atypical plan shapes and the zoning construction in high-rise buildings, the building stability under construction is arising as an important issue for design and construction plan. To ensure the stability under construction, the differential column shortening and the lateral movements with unbalanced distributions of self-weight of structure members and the load flows before completion of member connections and lateral load resisting system should be checked by construction sequence analysis. This paper presents the scheme of zone-based construction sequence analysis, to check the stability of high-rise building under construction. This scheme is applied to the construction sequence analysis for real high-rise building under construction.

Haut - A 21-storey Tall Timber Residential Building

  • This paper reflects on the structural design of Haut; a 21-storey high-end residential development in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Construction started in 2019 and is in progress at the time of writing. Upon completion in 2021, Haut will be the first residential building in the Netherlands to achieve a 'BREEAM-outstanding' classification. The building will reach a height of 73 m, making it the highest timber structure in the Netherlands. It contains some 14.500 ㎡ of predominantly residential functions. It features a hybrid concrete-timber stability system and concrete-timber floor panels. This paper describes the concepts behind the structural design for Haut and will touch upon the main challenges that have arisen from the specific combination of characteristics of the project. The paper describes the design of the stability system and -floor system, the analysis of differential movements between concrete and timber structures and wind vibrations. The paper aims to show how the design team has met these specific challenges by implementing a holistic design approach and integrating market knowledge at an early stage of the design.

  • The maintenance management in buildings has got more important by the increasing complexity of building sizes and use. Nowadays an expectation and a possibility of BIM technology become accepted as a new construction management method, therefore many studies and legal systems of it are being suggested actively. Although orders for BIM projects are supposed to be increasing, at present the BIM information accumulated from planning and design still doesn't have its continuity at the maintenance step after completion of construction in terms of LCC. Therefore according to bim information, we set a goal of developing apartment maintenance system which is able to maintain by user and administrator viewpoint.

  • It is very important to reduce the construction duration of the Reactor Containment Building (RCB) when considering the more than 50 months on average from concrete placement to completion. The purpose of this study attempts to evaluate the single-stage workability of the system given a change in the height of the setting of RCB exterior wall formwork to be used in nuclear power plant construction. As a result of this study, it is possible height of 3.5m~4m uses formwork when analyzing the construction period and material costs an increase in formwork by concrete lateral pressure, to ensure the workability of the RCB exterior wall formwork. Through this study, I want to provide as basic data for the improvement of workability and RCB shortening the construction period.

  • The accuracy of cost estimation at an early stage in school building project is one of the critical factors for successful completion. So many method and techniques have developed that can estimate construction cost using limited information available in the early stage. Among the techniques, Support Vector Machine(SVM) has received attention in various field due to its excellent capacity for self-learning and generalization performance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to verify the applicability of cost prediction model based on SVM in school building project at the early stage. Data used in this study are 139 school building cost constructed from 2004 to 2007 in Gyeonggi-Do. And prediction error rate of 7.48% in support vector machine is obtained. So the results showed applicability of using SVM model for predicting construction cost of school building projects.

소방공사감리원의 업무수행능력이 아파트 소방시설공사의 완공검사에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Performance of Firefighting Construction Supervision Personnel on the Completion Inspection of Firefighting Facility Construction in Apartments)

  • 이 연구는 아파트 화재의 대형화를 막기 위해 소방공사감리원의 업무수행능력에 따른 완공검사결과와 소방공사감리원의 성능시험 공기확보의 필요성에 따른 완공검사결과 및 완공검사증명서 발급 후 소방시설 등의 하자 유무상태에 따른 요인을 분석하여 완공검사 결과를 측정하여 소방공사감리원의 업무수행능력을 향상시키 위한 것이다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 소방공사감리원의 업무수행능력에 따라 아파트 완공검사결과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 직업별로 소방공무원보다 소방시설설계업 및 소방공사감리업 종사자가 소방공사감리원의 업무수행능력에 따라 아파트 완공검사 결과 정도는 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 그러므로 아파트에는 아파트 공사감리 경력이 있는 사람을 감리원으로 배치하여 소방공사감리원의 업무수행능력을 향상시킬 필요가 있다. 둘째, 소방공사감리원의 성능시험 공기확보 필요성에 대한 완공검사 결과는 직업별로 소방공무원보다 소방시설설계업 및 소방공사감리업 종사자의 성능시험에 대한 공기확보 필요성이 유의하게 높은 것으로 분석 되었다. 이를 개선하기 위해 건축 준공일까지 완공검사를 할 수 있도록 하며 발주처에서는 완공검사증명서를 건축준공일에 임박하여 발급받도록 강요하지 않도록 장치를 마련할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로, 완공검사증명서 발급 후 완공검사의 하자가 완공검사 결과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 발주자(건축주. 감독관) 종사자보다 소방시설설계업 및 소방공사감리업체 종사자가 유의하게 낮게 분석되었다. 이는 소방시설공사를 마치지 않은 상황에서 발주처. 건설사가 완공검사증명서의 발급을 요구함에 따라 완공검사증명서 발급 후 소방시설 등에 하자가 발생하여 완공검사 결과에 영향을 미친 것으로 분석된다.

중층 규모 철근콘크리트 주거형 건물의 시공 중 구조성능 분석 (Analyses of Structural Performances for Reinforced Concrete Middle-Rise Residential Building under Construction)

  • 중층 철근콘크리트 주거형 건물은 국내에서 많은 비중을 차하며, 이러한 건물의 시공단계에서 발생 될 수 있는 문제에 대한 구조성능 분석이 필요하다. 이를 위하여, 25층 규모의 중층 철근콘크리트 주거형 건물을 예제모델로 선정해 구조성능 분석을 진행하였다. 예제모델을 5층, 10층, 15층, 20층, 25층의 시공단계 모델과 설계가 완료된 완공단계 모델로 구분해 구조해석을 수행하였다. 완공단계와 시공단계 모델들에 대하여, 고유치해석, 횡력저항성능, 완공단계에서의 설계강도비와 시공단계에서의 설계강도비를 비교를 통한 단면성능 검토를 수행하였다. 검토 결과, 시공단계와 완공단계 모두 횡변위와 층간변위비에서 건축구조기준 제한을 초과하지 않았는 것을 확인하였고, 단면성능 검토에서는 벽체의 일부 데이터를 제외한 모든 부재에서 구조적 안전성을 확인하였다. 따라서, 중층 철근콘크리트 주거형 건물의 완공단계에서 구조적 안정성이 확보되면 시공단계에서도 구조적 안정성 학보가 이루어진다는 결론을 도출할 수 있었다.

Health Monitoring of High-rise Building with Fiber Optic Sensor (SOFO)

  • Structural health monitoring is becoming more and more important in the domain of civil engineering as a proper mean to increase and maintain the safety, especially in the land of earthquakes like Japan. In many civil structures, the deformations are the most relevant parameter to be monitored. In this context, a monitoring technology based on the use of long-gage fiber optic deformation sensor, SOFO is being applied to a 33-floors tall building in Tokyo. Sensors were installed on the $2^{nd}$ floor's steel columns of the building on May 2005 in the early stage of the construction. The installed SOFO sensors were dynamic compatible ones which enable both static and dynamic measurements. The monitoring is to be performed during the whole lifespan of the building. During the construction, static deformations of the columns had been measured on a regular basis using a reading unit for static measurement and dynamic deformation measurements were occasionally conducted using a reading unit for dynamic measurement. The building was completed on August 2006. After the completion, static and dynamic deformation measurements have been continuing. This paper describes a health monitoring technology, SOFO system which is applicable to high-rise buildings and monitoring results of a 33-floors tall building in Tokyo from May 2005 to October 2010.

공동주택의 장기수선계획을 위한 유지관리시스템 (Maintenance Management System for Long-range Planning of Apartment Buildings)

  • The repair and maintenance planning is the principal transaction to prevent from the degradation of apartment buildings to prolong their lives. Various building components as part of living area should be maintained properly and timely before critical defects are realized, then the building life might be extended until the limit of its usability. In other words, various building components such as utilities, finishes and structural members are needed to be repaired and replaced in different time interval after completion. To do this systematically, a maintenance management system for Long-Range Planning (LRP) needs developing. The LRP should be figured out based on the forecast of repairing and replacing cycle of building components according to work trades. And the precise forecast of repairing and replacing time of the components helps to enhance the usability of the developed system. The purpose of this paper is to suggest a system with which apartment building managers carry out the tasks of periodical check, diagnosis and replacement of building components based on the maintenance calendar. By using the system, they can easily forecast repairing and replacing time of the components with the consideration of life cycle of building materials and build the LRP.
