In the past, a strategic management of work demands has been increasingly challenged to design-build (DB) firms. Such a management is capable of providing sufficient profitable impact of a project on them. Total project profit is mainly related to actual resources, work completion time, amount of rework, and costs. The degree of recycling work packages in the DB project delivery system is used as a measure of the quality of the performed work. However, there are few models available to evaluate the impact of a demand management strategy on the DB firms and to predict its behavior. We propose a decision-making support model as an aid for assessing the amount of rework and for predicting project profit resulting in a convincible demand management strategy. This model is constructed by using a dynamic feedback approach that can analyze the problems arising in complex managerial systems. For the purpose of illustration, widely acceptable strategies were applied into the model to explore their impacts on the DB firms. The results indicate that the model is helpful for the managers in selecting the most appropriate demand management strategy for successfully achieving their objectives.

Profit, the performance of an apartment development project, is directly affected by the sales ratio, unit sale price, financial costs, land costs and construction costs. However, these factors fluctuate in response to changes in the environment, including various stake holders, and the profits fluctuate as a result. In order to ensure that profits are managed within target levels, these factors must be able to be predicted, controlled and monitored and managed up to the start, sale, and end stages of the project. The purpose of this study is to develop a profit risk management model for apartment development projects. The results of this study will contribute to the establishment of academic basis for the dynamic management of project profits that fluctuate with time and environment. And in practice, it will help project developers manage their business revenue to the proper level. In addition, the risks that occur from time to time can be identified quantitatively and visually, and it is expected that it will be easier to derive consensus points for smooth business progress by reducing conflicts of interest among stakeholders.

With improvements of information technology, the cases which automation technology are applied to construction site are increased. These technologies have advantages and limitations for construction site, therefore they has to be considered in order to maximize benefit. This study are to suggest the process for optimizing management of steel framing high-rise building construction.

Green building information used by the AEC industry is diverse and extensive), causing difficulties for personnel regarding the collection and utilization of information in the form of inaccurate searches about related laws, inefficient management of searched information and overlapping works. Therefore, this research aims to propose a law search system utilizing metadata for more accurate and efficient searches of green building information. The proposed system is expected to contribute to improve productivity of construction projects by reinforcing the accuracy and efficiency of searches for the collection and utilization of green building information.

최근 공공사업 발주조건에 BIM(Building Information Modeling)이 의무화되고 있고, 실무 도입을 통한 성공 사례가 증가되면서 건설 분야의 BIM 도입이 본격화되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 BIM 관련 연구는 대부분 설계 또는 시공단계에 한정되어 수행됨에 따라 건설프로젝트의 생애주기를 고려하지 못하고 있고, 특정 업무지원 기능 위주로 진행되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 건설공사 프로젝트의 기획부터 유지관리단계의 생애주기 동안 단계별 BIM 적용이 가능한 통합 BIM 운영 프로세스를 제안하고 이를 토대로 통합 BIM 시스템을 개발한다. 이를 위해 교량공사를 대상으로 수행단계별 정보체계를 분석하여 BIM 활용 기능과 적용 프로세스를 제시하였으며, 이에 근거하여 수행단계별 BIM 운영 시스템을 구축하였다. 연구에서는 개발된 시스템의 실무 적합성 검증을 위해서 사례적용과 건설 실무자의 활용성 설문 조사를 수행하였다. 이러한 BIM 통합 운영체계는 생애주기를 고려한 건설공사의 3차원 기반 통합정보관리체계로 활용성이 기대된다.

The success of a crowd-funding project can be attributed to various reasons, among which, backer's (also known as 'investor', or 'funder') perception of project credibility may be a salient one. The purpose of this study is to investigate the extent to which perceived project credibility can affect a backer's investment decision. We examine the factors that could influence the building of perceived project credibility by testing the proposed research model using survey data. Analysis results indicate that perceived project credibility has a significantly positive effect on backer's investment intention. Furthermore, information quality and source credibility are two key determinants of perceived project credibility. This study contributes to crowd-funding literature by enriching the list of successful factors for fund-raising with project credibility. The study also has practical implications because it explains why and how a backer's perception of project credibility can be improved.

Conflicts in a construction project not only make negative impacts on project performance such as schedule delay or cost overrun but also require social cost to resolve the conflicts. Although the conflict needs a preemptive management because a conflict usually begins with a complaint, existing studies have focused on conflict resolution after it occurs. This study identifies and categorizes complaints which mainly appear in the construction projects. Those complaints were evaluated and quantified in terms of occurrence frequency and potential to conflict through a questionnaire survey with industry experts. Using the survey results, this study examines the characteristic of complaints in linear project and clustered project, and analyzes what kind of complaints occur by project type. As the results, this study derives the complaints with high potential to the conflicts that should be managed first during managing a construction project in each project type.

현재까지 국내 건설사들은 공법의 개선, 제안 등 다양한 방법을 통해 공사비 원가 절감을 도모하여 왔다. 그러나 그러한 노력들은 각 건설사별로 이루어져 왔으며 성과를 업계 차원에서 공유하는 것으로는 연결되지 못한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최근 완공된 공동주택 1개동 및 지하주차장의 건설 공사비를 기준으로 민간부문에서 적용된 다양한 원가절감 사례들을 조합하여 적용할 경우 기대되는 공사비 원가 절감수준을 분석하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 아파트공사의 경우 기존 대비 3.77%의 공사비 절감을, 지하주차장공사의 경우 7.33%, 그리고 아파트 및 지하주차장을 합한 총 공사비 차원에서는 5.26%의 절감이 가능한 것으로 분석되었다.

건설 산업은 각 단계별 업무 프로세스의 분절 및 프로젝트 관리를 위한 다양한 소프트웨어 등이 업무 단위별로 상이함에 따라 단계별로 생성되는 다양한 데이터의 누락이 발생하며, 효과적인 공유 및 이를 활용한 신속한 의사결정 등에 한계를 보이고 있다. 또한 이로 인한 잦은 설계 변경 등의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 프로젝트에 참여하는 다양한 주체들 간의 협업 및 원활한 정보 공유의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이와 같은 문제를 해결하귀 위하여 BIM(Building Information Mode1ing)으로 지칭되는 3D 기반의 정보 체계와 동시 공학(CE, Concurrent Engineering) 개념을 바탕으로 제조업 등에서 활발히 사용되고 있는 PLM(Product Life cycle Management) 시스템을 건설 산업 특성에 적합한 형태로 벤치마킹하여, 건설 프로젝트 통합의사결정 지원 체계(Construction Project Life-cycle Management) 구축을 위한 CPLM의 프로세스 모델 및 시나리오를 제시하고자 한다.

주당 최장 법정 근로시간을 단축하는 내용의 '근로기준법 개정안'이 통과됨에 따라 근로시간 단축에 따른 근로자 소득감소, 공사기간 연장, 공사비 증가 등 다양한 문제가 발생하고 있다. 특히 다른 산업과 비교할 때, 생산성을 중시하는 건설 프로젝트의 경우 공종에 따라 주 52시간 근무제에 따른 영향의 정도가 더 클 것으로 예상되나 이에 대한 연구는 미흡한편이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 NATM 터널 공사를 대상으로 표준품셈 기반의 표준공정과 굴착 사이클 타임 그리고 공종별 단위 공기를 제시하고, 이를 통해 주 52시간 근무 적용에 따른 실제 작업조의 변화와 이에 따른 표준 공기 및 공사비의 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과 굴착 공기와 총 공기는 각각 20%, 8.9% 증가하였으나, 굴착공사비와 총 공사비는 오히려 각각 1.2%, 0.5% 감소하는 것으로 확인되었다.
