  • The maintenance and repair period consists the largest part of a construction project life cycle cost. However, it has been analyzed that the repairing plan relies on regulations and the officers' experience mostly that sometimes lead to performing unnecessary work. Moreover, the data occurred during repairing have not been stored in a system that can be used in future plans. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest a repairing cost and time predicting model by applying the properties of the building.

  • With the government's support for new and renewable energy, photovoltaic equipment has rapidly been supplied. However, compared to supply rate, maintenance has not supported enough and relevant research has not much conducted. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze maintenance effectiveness of photovoltaic equipment. What is the most important in maintenance effectiveness is a rise in power generation. It was estimated that if photovoltaic equipment for detached houses is maintained well, power generation increases by 4.0% at least, and by 6.5% on average. As a result, it was analyzed that it is necessary to maximize the effectiveness of the government's budget investment through well maintenance of photovoltaic equipment for detached houses.

  • This study was conducted to provide useful information to enable planned repair and cost planning during the operation and maintenance phase of aged multi-family housing. For this purpose, The concept of probabilistic maintenance cost analysis considering the risk factors of the aged multi-family housing is presented in the following six steps. 1. Risk factor investigation and analysis 2. Classification and deriving of maintenance cost 3. Investigation and deriving cost maintenance cost of old apartment house 4. Analysis of expert questionnaire 5. Analysis of Monte -Carlo simulation 6. Probabilistic maintenance cost Deriving the result. This study has limitations that need to be verified by applying actual data.
