  • The point of discovering a new technique using colored glass and clay is to improve the existing inconveniences, which is compatible with the mutual physical property of ceramics clay and glass. It is easy to express the decoration of colored glass in vertical ceramics, but the aesthetic expression is limited due to the rust flowing down on horizontal ceramics. So the point is the discovery of a new expressive method that do not melt down in vertical objects. A new technique is to crush finely and dilute the colored glass using clay, and brushing it to the wall. Additionally, inlaid technique and paste brush technique were applied to further enhance aesthetic end. The plastic method is oxidation and reduction, and the coloration was different due to the plasticity method. Particularly, partial cutting of engraved color glass leads to forming gray-line soft gradation. This effect will be good to apply to production of work and industrial ceramics.

  • Background: Transthoracic fine needle aspiration (FNA) is one of several methods for establishing tissue diagnosis of lung lesions. Other tissue or cell sources for diagnosis include sputum, endobronchial biopsy, washing and brushing, endobronchial FNA, transthoracic core needle biopsy, biopsy from thoracoscopy or thoracotomy. The purpose of this study was to compare the sensitivity and specificity of FNA and other diagnostic tests in diagnosing lung lesions. Materials and Methods: The population included all patients undergoing FNA for lung lesions at Meir Medical Center from 2006 through 2010. Information regarding additional tissue tests was derived from the electronic archives of the Department of Pathology, patient records and files from the Department of Oncology. Sensitivity, specificity, diagnostic accuracy, and positive and negative predictive values were calculated for each test. Results: FNA was carried out in 245 patients. Malignant tumors were diagnosed in 190 cases (78%). They included adenocarcinoma (43%), squamous cell carcinoma (15%), non-small cell carcinoma, not otherwise specified (19%), neurondocrine tumors (7%), metastases (9%) and lymphoma (3%). The specificity of FNA for lung neoplasms was 100%; sensitivity and diagnostic accuracy were 87%. Conclusions: FNA is the most sensitive procedure for establishing tissue diagnoses of lung cancer. Combination with core needle biopsy increases the sensitivity. Factors related to the lesion (nature, degenerative changes, location) and to performance of all stages of test affect the ability to establish a diagnosis.

The collected data was analyzed by frequency, chi-square test, and logistic regression analysis, using SPSS 18.0k program. Parent's high risk drinking behavior was independently associated with children's high risk drinking behavior after adjusting covariates(p<0.01). According to the result of the study, high risk drinking behavior of parents impact highly on the children's high risk alcohol drinking, nutritional behaviors, influenza vaccination, and tooth brushing, so it's necessary to consider a systematic family health education to the high risk drinkers.

The data were used in the "Community Health Survey" of the 2012 and 2014. The results of the study are as follows; 1) The subjective oral health status and brushing of lunch was highest in Gangnam-gu in both 2012 and 2014(p<0.001). 2) Regular dental check-up was high in Gangnam-gu in both 2012 and 2014(p<0.001). 3) The Scaling experience rate increased in all three regions(p<0.001). 4) The socio-demographic characteristics and scaling experience were higher in 2012 and 2014(p<0.001). The scaling experience was higher when there were office workers and spouses(p<0.001). From the policy perspective, it seems necessary to take measures to reduce the gap in scaling experience rate due to differences in income and unequal medical environment.
