건축물 적재가연물의 연소성상 및 발열특성은 건물 내부의 화재전파속도와 화재규모 등을 크게 좌우하는 중요한 요인이다. 그러나 대형 서점의 적재가연물은 다른 건축용도에 비해 다량 적재되어 있기 때문에 화재시 건물 전체의 화재피해가 대형화할 가능성이 있지만 연소발열성상이 화재실험 등으로 파악되어 있지 않다. 따라서 본 연구는 대형서점의 적재가연물인 목재 서가 등을 재현한 시험체를 대상으로 연소실험을 실행하여 연소발열성상을 파악하였다. 또한 이 결과를 바탕으로 대형서점의 화재시 화재안전성을 검토하고 대형 서점의 화재안전설계에 필요한 적재가연물의 연소표면적당 최대열방출률과 화재성장률 등을 제시하였다.

As the online bookstore market has been saturated and the level of competition has become more intense, maintaining competitive advantage by mitigating consumers' perceived risks can be considered as one of good alternative strategies a company should use. Although studies that identify the types of consumers' perceived risks in the context of online bookstores as well as validate the relationships between perceived risk and its antecedent/consequent factors in an integrated manner are strongly required, there has been less attention paid to these matters. Therefore, based on previous literature, we identify five types of perceived risks (financial, performance, online payment, delivery, and seller's response risk) and validate the impacts of online bookstore specific characteristics and user specific characteristics on perceived risk. In addition, we also verify causal relationship between perceived risk and intention to use online bookstores. The results of PLS test using 108 samples collected from undergraduate and graduate students confirm that perceived risk has a negative impact on intention to use and four antecedents (reputation, service quality, self-efficacy, and user experience) are significantly related to perceived risk.

Heat release characteristics of live fire load are an important parameter for performance oriented fire safety design of a building. While investigations have been carried out on the fire load and its burning behavior in office, residential and commercial buildings and so on, little effort has been paid for the rational treatment of fire load in bookstore. In this report, burning behavior of typical combustible objects in bookstore are studied by measuring heat release rates of bookshelf with book.

본 연구에서는 카이펑 시 역사 문화거리인 서점거리를 대상으로 서점거리의 경관 구성 요소에 나타난 경관 색채의 특징을 분석하여 서점거en리의 환경 색채에 대한 전체성을 이론적 배경을 제공하고자 한다. 문헌 고찰을 통해 역사 문화거리의 경관 구성요소에 대한 체크리스트를 도출하고, 청대 건축적 색채의 일반적인 특징과 경관 색채의 기본적인 분석방법에 대해 파악하였다. 또한, 서점거리 경관 구성의 요소 및 경관 색채에 대한 현장조사를 실시하고 색채 분석은 <한국표준색 색채분석> 프로그램을 적용하여 분석을 진행하였으며, 색상수치 표기는 먼셀 표색계를 사용하여 표기하였다. 연구 결과를 보게 되면 서점거리의 경관색채는 R계열, PB계열, Y계열, 무채색(N)계열로 구성되어 있으며 전체적으로 색채는 높은 전체성을 나타내었다. 청대 건축 색채의 일반적인 특성을 비교함으로써 서점거리의 전체적인 경관 색채는 청대 건축 색채의 일반적인 특성에 상당 부분 부합한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 사인과 시설물, 조형물의 색채 활용에서는 미흡한 부분이 많이 존재하였기에 사인과 시설물 등 경관 요소의 색채계획을 추가하여 시각 정보의 식별 가능성을 강화하고 거리 색채의 단계적인 변화를 증가시켜야 할 필요성이 요구된다.

경제와 인터넷 환경의 발전은 오프라인 서점에 큰 영향을 미쳤고, 오프라인 서점 역시 시대의 변화에 따라 점차 변모하며 업그레이드 되고 있다. 본 연구는 제3의 공간 개념을 토대로 하는 현대서점을 대상으로 하여, 현대서점 공간에 대한 소비자의 수요를 파악하고, 현대서점의 특징과 발전방향을 탐구하여 향후 현대서점의 발전에 이론적 지침을 제공하는 데 목적을 둔다. 연구자는 제3의 공간 개념과 라이프스타일 숍 이론을 기반으로 그 이론에 대한 고찰과 선행연구의 귀납적 정리를 통해 제3의 공간 개념으로서의 현대서점에 부합하는 특성요소를 도출하고, 2010년 이후 대형 상업시설 내에 개설된 5개 서점의 사례를 중심으로 연구 분석을 진행하고자 한다. 결과 분석에 따르면, 현대서점은 점차 도서판매라는 단일한 형태에서 벗어나 라이프스타일을 제안하는 형태로 전환하며 다기능 복합공간으로 변신하였다. 빅데이터 분석을 통해 시장의 소비변화를 예측함으로써 소비자의 다양한 수요를 발굴하고, 이를 통해 서점공간에 맞춤형 디자인을 진행하여 현대서점공간의 가치를 업그레이드 하였다. 이로써 현대서점은 경제와 문화의 발전을 탐색하는 동시에 소비자 수요의 변화에 발맞추어 선순환을 실현하였다.

In recent years, as selling books on the internet becomes popular, the number of off-line bookstores are rapidly dwindling away. This change on the book market requires, the function and space of the bookstores should be defined again. Now bookstores are the places of experiences on cultures, world-views, and lifestyles around books. The study examines six large bookstores and finds three strategies of space expression as follow. First, Dominicanen bookstore in Maastricht which was built as a church has an expression which contrasts the old and the new as well as the sacred and the profane. Fangsuo bookstore in Chengdu creates a modern underground Sutra Depository. Here, people experience history and religion. Second, Cook & Book in Brussels has nine theme areas, each with a different selection of books, different interior decoration and special food and beverage like a theme park. Zhongshu bookshop in Shanghai has a lattice of nine reading rooms in which each unique design theme is characterized based on each book subject. Third, Cultura Bookstore in Sao Paulo is created to support social interchange. It leads people to the enormous plaza of books where people read books freely and participate in workshops, movies and all kinds of events. Daikanyama Tsutaya Books in Tokyo is composed of three white box-form pavilions which are connected by a 55-meter long aisle, called a magazine street. People walk along the street and choose concierge services as they browse magazines and books. The study finds out three strategies of design in current large bookstores to promote place-experience, which are the story-telling of history and culture, the design of theme parks, and openness for public mingling like plazas and streets. Thus, the study suggests a new paradigm in the design of bookstores in this internet age.

건축물 적재가연물은 종류 및 양 등의 특성에 따라 화재지속시간과 화재규모 등에 크게 기여한다. 서점은 다른 건축용도보다 가연물이 다량 적재되어 있으므로 화재발생시 화재위험성이 클 가능성이 있다. 그러나 한편으로는 서점 내부의 서적은 연소하면 탄화층이 형성되고 적재가연물량에 비해 노출표면적이 작기 때문에 화재시 열분해가스의 생성이 작을 가능성도 있다. 이러한 가능성을 다양한 실험을 통해 파악하여 서점의 화재안전설계에 합리적으로 반영할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 서점의 성능위주설계에 활용하기 위하여 적재가연물을 재현한 시험체를 가열로에 넣고 ISO834-1:1999 표준가열곡선에 따라 가열하는 일련의 실험을 실행하였다. 이 실험 결과를 바탕으로 서점의 적재가연물의 연소발열성상을 파악하고 성능위주설계에 필요한 연소속도 및 열방출률 등을 제시하였다.

Studies of recommender systems have focused on improving their performance in terms of error rates between the actual and predicted preference values. Also, many studies have been conducted to investigate the relationships between customer information processing and the characteristics of recommender systems via surveys and web-based experiments. However, the actual impact of recommendation on product pages for customer browsing behavior and decision-making in the commercial environment has not, to the best of our knowledge, been investigated with actual clickstream data. The principal objective of this research is to assess the effects of product recommendation on customer behavior in e-Commerce, using actual clickstream data. For this purpose, we utilized an online bookstore's clickstream data prior to and after the web site renovation of the store. We compared the recommendation effects on customer behavior with the data. From these comparisons, we determined that the relevant recommendations in product pages have positive relationships with the acquisition of customer attention and elaboration. Additionally, the placing of recommended items in shopping cart is positively related to suggesting the relevant recommendations. However, the frequencies at which the recommended items were purchased did not differ prior to and after the renovation of the site.

Utilization of underground floor is becoming the main issue of our society to maximize and diversify the potential of recent urban space. It has brought about the changes of underground floor. Recently there are lots of huge bookstores in these underground floor. Bleach, adhesive and ink used for manufacturing books pollute indoor air in bookstore. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze indoor air quality in these large bookstores. Concentrations of carbon dioxide and formaldehyde in three large bookstores in Seoul were measured by presence and type of books and distance of main entrance which is well-ventilated. According to the data, space that places lots of volumes measured higher concentration of formaldehyde than that of non-existence books. Children's book section was measured more concentration of formaldehyde than other book section. Closer main entrance near outside, lower concentration of formaldehyde was measured. Concentration of carbon dioxide was affected by the number of people in bookstore.

2013년 일본 서점기업 CCC가 다케오시립도서관의 지정관리자로서 도서관의 관리 운영을 수탁하였다. 관내에 상업시설을 병설하고 독자적인 분류체계를 사용하는 등 도서관 운영 및 공간구성을 종래의 공공도서관과 달리 하고, 재개관 첫 해 기존의 약 3.7배에 달하는 방문이용자를 동원하면서 일본과 국내 언론의 화제를 모았다. 본 연구에서는 다케오시립도서관에 대하여 문헌조사, 신문기사 내용분석, 인터뷰 조사를 수행함으로써 서점기업이 공공도서관을 위탁운영하게 된 배경과 언론이 어떠한 관점에서 다케오시립도서관을 논하고 있는지 이해하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 신문기사들은 소도시 주민에게 도서관을 매개로 '복합문화공간'을 제공한 점, 방문자가 증가한 점, 지역경제 효과가 발생한 점은 긍정적으로 평가하였나, 운영적자가 계속되고 장서구입과정에 문제가 발생한 점은 한계로 평가하고 있음을 확인하였다.
