Fully-depleted silicon-on-insulator (FD-SOI) devices with a 15 nm SOI layer thickness and 60 nm gate lengths for analog applications have been investigated. The Si selective epitaxial growth (SEG) process was well optimized. Both the single- raised (SR) and double-raised (DR) source/drain (S/D) processes have been studied to reduce parasitic series resistance and improve device performance. For the DR S/D process, the saturation currents of both NMOS and PMOS are improved by 8 and 18%, respectively, compared with the SR S/D process. The self-heating effect is evaluated for both body contact and body floating SOI devices. The body contact transistor shows a reduced self-heating ratio, compared with the body floating transistor. The static noise margin of an SOI device with a $1.1\;{\mu}m^2$ 6T-SRAM cell is 190 mV, and the ring oscillator speed is improved by 25 % compared with bulk devices. The DR S/D process shows a higher open loop voltage gain than the SR S/D process. A 15 nm ultra-thin body (UTB) SOI device with a DR S/D process shows the same level of noise characteristics at both the body contact and body floating transistors. Also, we observed that noise characteristics of a 15 nm UTB SOI device are comparable to those of bulk Si devices.

A trial was conducted to determine the effect of low crude protein (CP) diets with constant metabolizable energy to crude protein (ME:CP) ratio on growth, body composition and nutrient utilization of broiler chicks from 1 to 26 days of age. Four dietary treatments having four levels of CP and ME as 23, 22, 21 and 20% and 3,036, 2,904, 2,772 and 2,640 kcal/kg, respectively, were formulated and a ME:CP ratio of 132 was maintained in all the diets. Digestible lysine was maintained at 1.10 of the diet. A total of 1,760 day-old Hubbard broiler chicks were randomly divided into 16 experimental units and each diet was offered to four experimental units at random. Feed intake was increased (p<0.05) while weight gain and feed conversion ratio were adversely affected (p<0.05) when the diets with low CP and ME were fed to broilers. Total protein intake and total ME intake were linearly decreased (p<0.05) and protein efficiency ratio and energy efficiency ratio were lower (p<0.05) than in the chicks fed dietary regimen with 22% CP and 2,904 kcal/kg ME. The whole body analysis of the birds revealed that chicks fed the lowest dietary regimens retained less (p<0.05) nitrogen and more ether extract than chicks fed the control diet, however, body dry matter, total body ash and fat free body protein were not affected. Similarly, protein and energy utilization were also unaffected by the dietary treatments. In summary, chicks fed low CP diets with constant ME:CP ratio grew slower, used feed less efficiently and retained less protein and more body fat than chicks fed the control diet.
Objective: This study collected data on muscle fatigue and ground reaction force during walking to provide a basis for development of custom-fitted outdoor walking shoes. The study analyzed an upright body exercise program using spine stabilization technique to determine the effect on foot plantar pressure in archers, demonstrate the effectiveness of upright body exercise, and develop a new, effective, and efficient training program. Method: A 12-week upright body exercise program was evaluated for the effect on plantar pressure in archers. Ten prize-winning archers (3 men, 7 women) in B metropolitan city, each with ${\geq}10years$ of experience, were given an explanation of the content and purpose of the program, and provided informed consent. Upright body exercise was performed 3 times a week for 12 weeks. A resistive pressure sensor was used to measure foot plantar pressure distribution and analyze quantitative information on variation in postural stability and weight shifting in dynamic balance during shooting, as well as plantar pressure in static balance with the eyes open and closed. Results: There were no significant differences in foot plantar pressure before and after participation in the exercise program. There was no statistically significant difference in foot plantar pressure in static balance with the eyes open or closed, or in foot plantar pressure in dynamic balance during shooting. Conclusion: An upright body exercise program had positive effects on foot plantar pressure in static and dynamic balance in archers by reducing body sway and physical imbalance during shooting and with eyes closed. This program is expected to help archers improve their posture and psychological state, and thereby improve performance.
To protect the occurrence of the oxidation of car body, we developed antioxidizing device made with sacrificial anode. Because car body is made of iron and iron-alloy and oxidation potential of Mg, Al and Zn is higher than that of iron, sacrificial anodes were made with Mg, Al and Zn. Accordingly, Mg, Al and Zn are better oxidizing than car body, iron and iron-alloy can be protected from oxidizing. We have made an antioxidizing device and evaluated their anti-corrosive effect for iron piece in the solution of hydrochloric, nitric and sulfuric acid using balance, SEM and XPS. When iron pieces were connected with antioxidizing device of car body, weight loss by oxidation was remarkably reduced and surface corrosion of iron piece was protected. It was shown that the surface of iron pieces which is not con-nected to the device was changed to iron(Ⅲ) oxide, Fe$_2$O$_3$. Therefore, if this device is attached to car body, corrosion and oxidation of car body will be reduced, considerably.
An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of supplementing various concentrations (0, 100, 200, 300, or 400 ${\mu}g/kg$ diet) of organic Se on growth performance, carcass traits, oxidative stress, and immune responses in commercial broiler chickens reared in open-sided poultry house under tropical climatic conditions. Each diet was fed ad libitum to eight replicates consisting of six birds in each pen from 1 to 42 d of age. Body weight gain and feed efficiency, and relative weight of liver, abdominal fat and ready to cook yields were not affected (p>0.05) by organic Se supplementation to broiler diets. Lipid peroxidation in plasma decreased, while activities of glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase in plasma increased (p<0.01) linearly with Se concentration in diet. The ratios between heterophyls and lymphocytes and relative weight of lymphoid organs (bursa, spleen, and thymus), and antibody production to Newcastle disease vaccination were not affected (p>0.05) by Se supplementation to broiler diets. However, the cell-mediated immunity (lymphocyte proliferation ratio) increased (p<0.01) linearly with dietary Se concentration. The results of the present study indicate that the supplementation of Se did not influence body weight and feed efficiency. However, supplementation of Se increased antioxidant status and lymphocyte proliferation in broiler chickens.
A herd of polish lowland local sheep was divided into two equal groups: the first group was kept under an overhead shelter, and the second group was kept in a warm barn. The effect of maintenance on ewe's reproductive performance, survival as well as the growth rate of lambs, and their carcasses quality was investigated. The lack of differences in fertility and prolificacy of ewes as well as in the survival and growth rate between the groups confirmed a good adaptation of $\dot{Z}$ela$\acute{z}$nie$\acute{n}$ska sheep to low temperature. Harsh environmental conditions did not cause a significant decrease of the body weight growth; however, they brought in an (insignificant) reduction of subcutaneous fat thickness and meatiness of the loin part of a lamb's body. The fat content of carcasses obtained from lambs reared under the overhead shelter was significantly lower, with no differences of meat and bones contribution between the groups.

There have been many researches on the antenna performance degradation with the presence of the human body around the antenna structure to accomodate personal communication service [1][2]. To better understand the human body effects on the antenna resonance, radiation pattern, and input impedance, simulation was carried out with changing of the distance between antenna and lossy material. Effects on the antenna performance by the surrounding materials are also important in the case of the RFID system. It is desirable that the tag antennas for RFID system must reveal isotropic radiation pattern as well as attain the good impedance matching. In this paper, we investigated the antenna resonance and input impedance characteristic when there exist a lossy material sphere near various types of antenna at 900 MHz. In short antenna resonance was mostly affected by lossy material in the case of a rectangular loop antenna, and impedance variation was smallest in the case of a halfwave dipole.
In this research, an effective technique was examined to improve the drift running performance. Concretely, the driver model by which the counter steer was done was assumed to the model by which the vehicle body slip angle (and the vehicle body slip angle velocity) was feed back. Next, the effectiveness of the system which added the assist steer angle corresponding to the steering wheel angle velocity to a front wheel steer angle was clarified as a drift running performance improvement technique of the vehicle. As a result, because the phase advances when the differentiation steer assistance is added, it has been understood to be able to cover the delay of the counter steer when the drift running. Therefore, it has been understood that the drift control does considerably easily. Moreover, it has been understood that the differentiation steer assistance acts effectively at the drift cornering by which the drift angle is maintained in cornering and the severe lane change with a drift at a situation. That is, it was understood to be able to settle to the drift angle of the aim quickly at the time of the drift cornering because the delay of the control steer angle of the counter steer was improved. Moreover, it was understood for the transient overshoot of the vehicle tracks to be able to decrease, and to return to the state of stability quickly at the severe lane change.

An occupant analysis code SAFE (Safety Analysis For occupant crash Environment) is utilized to simulate and improve the crash performance of an energy absorbing steering system. The safety standard FMVSS 203 is simulated and used for design evaluations . Segments and contact elliposids are utilized to model the bod blocks and the components of the steering system with SAFE. Spring-damper elements and force-deflection characteristics are utilized to model the energy absorbing components such as the plate and the polyacetal molding. The plate absorbs the impact energy through tensile deformation . Whereas, the polyacetal molding absorbs the impact energy through compression. the body block test is carried out to validate tie simulation model, and real component tests are performed to extract the force-deflection curves . After the model is validated , the parameter study is carried out to evaluate the crash performance of the energy absorbing components. A performance measure is defined for the parameter study. Using the results of the parameter study and managing the orthogonal arrays, optimum design values of energy absorbing components are determined to minize the occupant injury.

The SFRJ(Solid Fuel Ram-Jet) propulsion is attractive for projectiles because of the combination of high propulsive performance and low system complexity more than conventional projectiles. The Objective of this research was to characterize the inlet aerodynamic characteristics (center-body & pitot type) in SFRJ. Diffuser static pressure & combustion chamber pressure was tested and the AoA was changed $0^{\circ}$ and $4^{\circ}$ at Mach number of 3.0 for performance estimate. The performance study of inlet was carried out with the Schlieren system and Supersonic cold-flow system. Under mach 3.0, the center-body showed twice higher total pressure recovering ratio than the pitot type. A Computational fluid dynamic solution is applied internal flow of inlet and the solutions are compared with experimental results.
