  • The current settlement and distribution used in theme, background and signal music market other than conventional music is being carried out with either the comprehensive settlement method or the measured meter-rate settlement method in the payment process of collected user fees and compensation depending on the use-permission types. In this settlement and distribution process, however, the reliability issues are often being raised because of the difficulty of tracking rights due to changes in music source rights management information, etc, and the opaque settlement and distribution method itself. This paper proposes a new settlement and distribution platform using a blockchain for the reliable collection and distribution of copyright fees among music user group, monitoring organization group, trust organization group and copyright holders, based on the monitoring information of the theme, background and signal music usage. This platform also provides the transparency in settlement and distribution process among stakeholders through smart contract system.

  • This paper analyzes the existing copyright management and copyright sharing model and discusses the limitations. It then proposes a consortium Blockchain-based copyright management model in which the service platform participates as a node, and discusses how to combine the My Data concept with Blockchain and smart contracts. Also, Blockchain-based CP-ABE is introduced and applied to the proposed model as a way for users to define access policies and store copyright data in encrypted form on the storage of the online service providers (OSP). Compared with the existing copyright management model, the proposed model allows the copyright holder to focus on copyright registration, license content design, and sharing, as the data subject. And it is expected to be able to transparently manage the usage records and the basis for the settlement of the copyrighted data that are shared and used on each platform.

  • Smart cities are the product of modern urban planning that seeks to innovate information and communication technology and improve the quality of urban life. For the efficient operation of smart cities, data collected, stored, and processed in real time is a key resource. Therefore, data from smart cities collected in various fields must be managed safely, and personal information protection is paramount. In this study, a smart city data security model using blockchain technology was proposed to safely manage smart city data. The proposed model integrates IPFS into the blockchain network to distribute and store data to ensure data confidentiality and integrity, and encrypts data using CP-ABE to efficiently control access to data from users. In addition, privacy was guaranteed while enhancing the usability of data by using Homomorphic Encryption with data access control policies.

  • Purpose - Blockchain technology, which has the characteristics of credibility, security, integrity and decentralization, has brought innovation to internet platforms that mediate peer to peer transactions, as well as changes to the contents distribution services. Blockchain-based copyright distribution platforms can solve problems which have been articulated on prior internet social networks: increased market dominance of platform business because of centralization with no reward to creators who upload on platforms, and lack of fairness, such as unfair profit distribution between the copyright holder and businesses. With this background, the current research confirmed the factors that affect the intention of usage and behaviors, targeting potential users of blockchain-based copyright distribution platforms. Research design, data, and methodology - Centered around the UTAUT2 Model, the research model was designed with 'Perceived Security' added as Construct, and 'Age' and 'Knowledge Level' added as moderating variables. For data, 607 responses were collected by an online survey, and 601 responses were included in the final analysis. We analyzed the research model and sample by using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 on the collected responses. Results - First, results of research on whether Constructs make positive effects on Intention of use is: social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and perceived security had positive effects on intention of use, and performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and economic value did not. Second, results of the research on whether facilitating condition, habit, and intention of use made an impact on using behaviors, it was shown that only habit and intention of use made positive effects. Third, in two groups divided by age above or under 40, group effort expectancy, intention of use, habit, and intention of use had controlling effects, and facilitating condition, intention of use, perceived security, and intention of use had effects in both groups. Conclusions - The research shows that no matter how great a blockchain-based platform is, if advantages of blockchain are not proved in various industries and utilized in real life like the internet, blockchain-based distribution systems will develop slowly. Rather than a short-term inducement emphasizing technology, there is a need for a strategic approach that can foster the environment.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a platform using NFT, which serves as a certificate for the service of Web 3.0, which is being decentralized and utilized in connection with blockchain technology. The NFT platform is a platform that can smoothly use platforms that existed only overseas in Korea, and develops a platform using Klaytn to increase accessibility by solving problems such as ETH fees and transmission speeds. Through the NFT platform using Klaytn, domestic users can expect high utilization through easier accessibility and can be used for metaverse, games, etc.

  • Blockchain is designed to collect and store the data recorded on the network in one block unit, and is connected and stored back and forth, and its form is similar to how the blocks are connected, so it is called a blockchain. Many companies are trying to popularize blockchain-based services at home and abroad, and blockchains are used in various industries. This study introduces the technical characteristics of the blockchain and deals with application services utilizing the blockchain. Introducing 5 types of blockchain architecture and core technologies and introducing blockchain application services that are used in payment services, blockchain service networks, blockchain real estate platforms, identity verification, cryptocurrency, diamond distribution path tracking, and blog information recording. do. It is expected to increase the understanding of the blockchain and provide usefulness in future blockchain research and service development.

  • Recently, with the advent of blockchain technology, attempts to apply this technology to existing systems are increasing. By using the blockchain technology consensus ledger and smart contract, it is necessary to distribute certificates to various fields that require documents, attestation, authentication, verification, etc. We are studying methods using hash operation, blockchain, etc., but it is difficult to spread the technology as it has not yet reached the stage of commercialization. In this paper, user device registration authentication algorithm, blockchain-based question and answer authentication algorithm, certificate issuance, verification process and encryption algorithm, and server-side authentication for easy application in blockchain based business platform environment We proposed a blockchain-based system authentication method using four algorithms.

  • High expectations are posed on the blockchain-based internet of things (IoT), in which IoT and blockchain technology is combined to obtain trust in the Internet, where trust appears impossible to obtain. However, applications of current blockchain-based IoT technology to real-world scenarios appears to be significantly more difficult owing to limitations regarding scalability and security. In this paper, the difficulties to implement blockchain networking technologies for IoT and digital businesses are investigated and practical solutions such as sharding, off-chain, de-idetification and P2P crypto-currency exchange are explored. In further work, a blockchain platform for IoTs which provides scalability and security will be implemented according to this research results, and compared with conventional blockchain platforms.

  • Openstack is widely used as a representative open-source infrastructure of the service (IaaS) platform. The Openstack Identity Service is a centralized approach component based on the token including the Memcached for cache, which is the in-memory key-value store. Token validation requests are concentrated on the centralized server as the number of differently encrypted tokens increases. This paper proposes the practical Byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT) blockchain-based Openstack Identity Service, which can improve the performance efficiency and reduce security vulnerabilities through a PBFT blockchain framework-based decentralized approach. The experiment conducted by using the Apache JMeter demonstrated that latency was improved by more than 33.99% and 72.57% in the PBFT blockchain-based Openstack Identity Service, compared to the Openstack Identity Service, for 500 and 1,000 differently encrypted tokens, respectively.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the user experience and suggest the necessary improvements, in the blockchain based social platform Steemit. First, I investigated what is the blockchain and the characteristic of social platforms based on blockchain system. The honeycomb model was used to investigate and analyze the Steemit user experience, and the quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. As a result of the research, the voting function, which is core function of the service in use, has high usefulness. Improvements suggestion that the editing tools and the abuse of voting function should be improved. I hope that this study will be used as a basic research material to improve the user experience of blockchain based social platforms.
