This paper reveals the utilization of the multi-gent system that based on the Blackboard system basis as the controller of Soccer Robot. This system is a portion of developing the Soccer Robot team for Robocup 2004 Competition. In this development, the intelligent control system was initiated by the combination of parallel and distributed blackboard structures with the principle design that generated from human body structures, which consists of the combination of two main systems, the organs system and the brain system. The system is designed using the control system theory based on Blackboard basis. Modification of the initial structures to corroborate the Soccer Robot and the structure's constituents are clarified accordingly. To demonstrate the idea, ITE-old team is given as a case study.

As the importance and the need for network security are increased, many organizations use the various security systems. They enable to construct the consistent integrated security environment by sharing the network vulnerable information among IDS (Intrusion Detection System), firewall and vulnerable scanner. The multiple IDSes coordinate by sharing attacker's information for the effective detection of the intrusion is the effective method for improving the intrusion detection performance. The system which uses BBA (Blackboard Architecture) for the information sharing can be easily expanded by adding new agents and increasing the number of BB (Blackboard) levels. Moreover the subdivided levels of blackboard enhance the sensitivity of the intrusion detection. For the simulation, security models are constructed based on the DEVS (Discrete Event system Specification) formalism. The intrusion detection agent uses the ES (Expert System). The intrusion detection system detects the intrusions using the blackboard and the firewall responses to these detection information.

본 논문에서는 일반적인 도로 영상을 이해할 수 있는 시스템을 블랙보드 모델을 이용하여 구현하였다. 블랙보드에는 계층적인 구조를 갖는 여러 가지의 정보를 저장 하도록 하였으며 이들은 제어모듈의 통제에 따라 여러 개의 지식원들과 유기적으로 결 합하여 가정을 세우고 검증하므로써 도로 영상을 이해하도록 하였다. 실제의 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과는 90% 정도의 물체를 인식하는 것을 확인하였다. 이 결과를 토 대로 무인운항에 필요한 도로 정보의 추출이 가능하다는 것을 확인하였다.

본 논문은 제조 공정의 생산관리 시스템을 개발함에 있어서, 생산 공정상의 스케쥴링 문제를 해결할 경우 시스템내의 여러 하위 모듈간의 협동을 통해서 처리하게 되는데, 이런 경우 각 모듈간의 원활한 협동을 위한 연동 방법을 정의하여야 한다. 이러한 연동 문제를 해결하기 위해서 분산 인공지능의 분산문제 해결 방법 중의 하나인 블랙보드 구조(Blackboard Architecture)를 사용하였다. 시스템의 문제 해결 과정을 여러 단계로 나뉘어진 공유 작업 공간(Shared Work Space)인 블랙보드에 나타내었으며, 구성 모듈간의 통신은 블랙보드를 통해서 이루어진다. 문제 해결의 처리 절차는 블랙보드의 구성요소중의 하나인 제어기에 지식의 형태로 정의되어 있고, 제어기는 이 지식을 바탕으로 모듈간의 실행 순서를 제어한다. 이와 같이 블랙보드 구조를 적용하여 하위 모듈간의 협동시에 발생하는 연동 문제를 해결하였으며 또한 시스템의 수정 및 확장에 대처 가능한 환경을 구성하였다.

Online learning systems are becoming an effective educational medium for many universities. The accessibility of online learning system in universities means that every student, including the visually impaired, is able use all the site's services. This research focuses on investigating the accessibility of online learning systems for visually impaired users. The paper purpose is to understand the perception of visually impaired undergraduate students towards Blackboard's accessibility and to make recommendations for a new Blackboard design with accessible features that support their needs. Impact of a new Blackboard design with accessible features on visually impaired students, using Taif University students as a case study is evaluated in this paper, as it is similar to most learning systems used by Saudi universities. A study on Taif University's utilization of Blackboard was conducted using mixed method approaches (an automatic tool and a user study). In the first phase, Taif's use of Blackboard was evaluated by the web accessibility tool called AChecker. In the second phase, we conducted a user study to verify previously discovered accessibility challenges to fully assess them according to the accessibility and usability guidelines. In this study, the accessibility of Taif University's Blackboard was evaluated by thirteen visually impaired undergraduate students. The results of the study show that Blackboard has accessibility issues, which are confusing navigation, incompatibility with assistive technologies, untitled pages or parts, unclear identification for visual elements, and inaccessible PDF files. This paper also introduces a set of recommendations that aim to improve the accessibility of Blackboard and other educational websites developed for this population. It also highlights the serious need for universities to enhance web accessibility for online learning systems for students with disabilities.

컴퓨터의 눈이라고 불리우는 감지 장치를 통하여 얻어진 항공 사진에 관한 영상을 분할하고, 이런 초기자료를 바탕으로 영상을 해석하여 건물 및 도로에 관한 정보를 추출하는 흑판 시스템을 소개한다. 흑판 시스템의 구성요소인 흑판, 지식원, 제어 모듈의 기능및 역할이 지식 표현과 제어 전략 측면에서 설명된다. 프레임 형태를 취하는 흑판위의 가설들의 계층적 구조와 가설 생성및 검증을 담당하는 지식원의 구조에 대하여 소개하고, 이들 지식원을 운영하여 원하는 해를 구해가는 제어 전략에 대하여 상세히 소개한다. 특히, 영상자료의 탐색 영역을 제한하기 위한 매핑 영상의 활용 방법에 대하여 소개한다.

다중 에이전트 구조와 블랙보드 구조를 통합하면 두 구조의 특징들과 장점들을 필요로 하는 응용 분야에 대응할 수 있는 가능성이 생긴다. 본 논문은 Rete 네트워크에 기반을 둔 블랙보드 이벤트 탐지 메커니즘과 블랙보드 이벤트 기반의 암시적 호출 구조 패턴을 함께 사용하여 다중 에이전트 구조에 블랙보드 구조를 통합하는 방안을 제안한다. 다중 에이전트 구조에 블랙보드 구조를 통합하기 위하여 이벤트 기반의 암시적 호출 구조 패턴을 사용하는 것은 구성 요소들 간의 결합도(coupling)의 감소와 지식 원천 에이전트들의 제어의 융통성의 증대 등의 면에서 바람직하다. 하지만 이벤트 기반의 암시적 호출 구조 패턴 자체는 그것을 사용하는 구조의 성능을 고려하고 있지 않다. 본 논문이 제안하는 통합 구조의 성능을 향상시키려면 지식 원천 에이전트들을 활성화시킬 수 있는 블랙보드 이벤트들의 발생을 신속하게 탐지할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문이 제안하는 통합 방안은 Rete 네트워크 기반의 블랙보드 이벤트 탐지 메커니즘을 사용하여 블랙보드 이벤트 기반의 암시적 호출 구조 패턴을 이용한 통합 구조에서 지식 원천 에이전트들을 활성화시킬 수 있는 블랙보드 이벤트들이 효율적으로 탐지될 수 있도록 한다.

The attackers on Internet-connected systems we are seeing today are more serious and technically complex than those in the past. So it is beyond the scope of amy one system to deal with the intrusions. By using the Blackboard (BB) system in the education sector, the educational process for both academics and students is facilitated. Two data resources were used to evaluate the use of the BB system by students of Umm Al-Qura University: statistical reports issued by the university and an online questionnaire. A total of 989 students from all colleges and different programmes provided by the university responded to the questionnaire survey. According to our findings, most students did not use the BB before the pandemic. Therefore, the sudden conversion to the BB system required intensive training courses. After the data analysis, the relationship between the use of the BB system before the pandemic and the problems students faced during the lockdown was revealed. The most critical issues raised by the respondents were: (1) "The voice of the lecturer went on and off during BB collaborate class", (2) "internet connection of the lecturer went on and off during BB collaborate class" and (3) "High possibility of IT problems during exams".

본 연구는 미국 켄터키 주에 소재한 머레이 주립대(Murray State University)가 제공하고 있는 주제별 맞춤형 정보제공(Library on Blackboard) 시스템의 기능들을 중심으로 현존하는 대학도서관 서비스가 온라인상에서 어떠한 정보기술을 통해 변형되어 제공될 수 있는지를 살펴보았다. 정보기술의 발달로 인하여 미국 대학교육에서 온라인 강의와 원거리 교육의 비중이 점점 늘어나는 추세이다. LMS(Learning Management System)는 새로운 대학 환경변화의 중요한 도구이다. 대학도서관의 정보제공 기능도 대학교육 환경의 변화에 발맞추어 발전해 왔고, 이에 따라 이용자에게 효과적인 서비스를 제공하기 위한 LMS와 연계한 맞춤형 정보검색 시스템을 개발하기에 이르렀다. LMS와 연계한 도서관 서비스는 학생들의 연구형 과제해결을 위한 정보수집에 적합한 검색시스템과 유용한 정보들을 한곳에 모은 가상 분관의 기능을 제공하기에 더욱 사용되고 발전해야 한다. 이 시스템을 더욱 발전시키기 위해서는 Contents Management Systems의 사용과 과목별 접근방식으로 변환이 중요하다.
