It is well known that the current wireless sensor networks addressing methods do not work efficiently in networks more than a few hundred nodes. A standard protocol in ZigBee-Standard feature in ZigBee 2007 gives balanced tree based address assignment method with distributed manner. However, it was limited to cover less than hundreds of sensor nodes due to the wasteful use of available address space, because composed sensor networks usually make an unbalanced tree topology in the real deployment. In this paper, we proposed the hierarchical cluster tree based address assignment method to support large and scalable networks. This method provides unique address for each node with distributed manner and supports hierarchical cluster tree on-demand. Simulation results show that the proposed method reduces orphan nodes due to the address exhaustion and supports larger network with limited address space compared with the ZigBee distributed address assignment method defined in ZigBee-Standard feature in ZigBee 2007.

In this paper, we propose a high-performance BICS(built-in current sensor) which is fabricated in 0.8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ single-poly two-metal process for IDDQ testing of CMOS VLSI circuit. The CUT(circuit under test) is 4-bit full adder with a bridging fault. Using two nMOSs that have different size, two bridging faults that have different resistance values are injected in the CUT. And controlling a gate node, we experimented various fault effects. The proposed BICS detects the faulty current at the end of the clock period, therefore it can test a CUT that has a much longer critical propagation delay time and larger area than conventional BICSs. As expected in the HSPICE simulation, experimental results of fabricated chip demonstrated that the proposed BICS can exactly detect bridging faults in the circuit.
Background: Cancers have dysfunctional redox regulation resulting in production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), damaging DNA, RNA and free NTPs, and causing the accumulation of oxidative nucleic acids in cytoplasm. The major types are 8-oxo-7,8-dihydroguanine(8-oxoGsn) in RNA and 8-oxo-7,8-dihydro-2' deoxyguanosine(8-oxodGsn) in Mt-DNA. The MTH1 protein sanitizes oxidized nucleotide pools from NTPs to monophosphates, preventing the occurrence of transversion mutations. This study concerned cytoplasmic 8-oxodGsn/Gsn and MTH1 expression in gastric cancer and para-cancer tissues and elucidated roles of nucleic-acid oxidation and anti-oxidation. Materials and Methods: A polymer HRP detection system was used to detect 8-oxo-Gsn/dGsn and MTH1 expression in 51 gastric cancer and para-cancer tissue samples. Analyses of patient clinical and pathological data were also performed. Results: The expression of MTH1 and the 8-oxo-dGsn/Gsn ratio were significantly higher in cancer tissues than para-cancer tissues (P<0.05). Cytoplasmic 8-oxo-Gsn and MTH1 were both found to positively correlate (P<0.05) with tumor differentiation, while no significant associations were found with gender, age, invasion depth, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P>0.05). Conclusions: We found 8-oxo-dGsn/Gsn and MTH1 are both highly expressed in gastric cancer tissues, especially in well differentiated lesions. In addition, oxidated mtDNA is prevalently expressed in gastric cancers, while 8-oxo-Gsn expression in cytoplasmic RNA is a bit lower, but more selectively.

This paper presents a fully synthesizable low power interconnect bus for millimeter-scale wireless sensor nodes. A segmented ring bus topology minimizes the required chip real estate with low input/output pad count for ultra-small form factors. By avoiding the conventional open drain-based solution, the bus can be fully synthesizable. Low power is achieved by obviating a need for local oscillators in member nodes. Also, aggressive power gating allows low-power standby mode with only 53 gates powered on. An integrated wakeup scheme is compatible with a power management unit that has nW standby mode. A 3-module system including the bus is fabricated in a 180 nm process. The entire system consumes 8 nW in standby mode, and the bus achieves 17.5 pJ/bit/chip.

This paper is contents on that construct ultra high speed wireless communication cell backbone net of city using of wireless communication transceiver for millimeter wave band. A new type of 60GHz wave band wireless transceiver using NRD waveguide. This 60GHz transceiver has excellent signal's absorption characteristics of oxygen molecule than the other millimeter wave bands. We constructed service networks to cell interval within about 500m to 3Km laying stress on wireless backbone node using 60GHz transceivers, and did it so that city type wireless communication cell backbone networks of 155.52Mbps ATM(OC-3) may be possible. The possible use of wireless backbone networks technology in a rainy day and a clear day was evaluated at 1Km data link distance. We can measured bit error rate(BER). BER is $10^{-11}$ at 155.52Mbps ATM(OC-3) in a clear day and $10^{-6}$ in a heavy rain more than 35mm per time. Also, we constructed wireless cell backbone networks distance to use several 60GHz transceivers and investigated data transmission rate between main center and local center of long distance. In proposed wireless cell backbone networks, the data throughput was approximately 80Mbit/sec. Therefore, if use transceiver, it is possible that city type ultra high speed wireless communication cell backbone networks construction of 100Mbps, 155.52Mbps, 622Mbps, 1Gbps and 1.2Gbps degrees.

We propose novel OCDMA system with the structure of reconfigurable may encoder/decoder(RAE/ RAD), which are able to reallocate the 2-D optical codes to each subscriber and recover the transmitted data at all the receiving nodes. We have first implemented the double hard limiters composed of limiting amplifier(first hard limiter) that maintain a level of the encoded data from receiving node and AND detector(second hard limiter) for detecting the position of the encoded data and recovering the data. With the proposed system, it was successfully implemented to recover a specific channel data out of 16 code-multiplxed channels using FPGA and 4 DFB-LDs having distinct wavelengths. From experimental results, the code length resulted from increasing the number of the simultaneously connected channels has been reduced by using 2-D OCDMA multiplexed in time and wavelength instead of 1-D OCDMA. In addition, bit errors phenomenon on account of deterioration of autocorrelation peak-to-side lobe ratio is enhanced by using the double hard limiters composed of AND detector and limiting amplifiers.

HMIPv6 is designed to reduce the signaling load to external network and improve handover speed of MN by including Mobility Anchor Point(MAP) in local handover. However in this case of macro handover, it's just used pervious MIPv6 handover algorithm. So, it occurs packet loss and transmission delay problem. In this paper, we propose the mechanism applying the HMIPv6 for Fast Handover to choose suitable to the condition buffering handover. The condition for the selection is result distance measurement between MN and CN, between MN and NAR. Furthermore, using F-SNOOP protocol, it is possible to improve wireless network performance. Wireless network has high Bit Error Rate(BER) characteristic because of path loss, fading, noise and interference. TCP regards such errors as congestion and starts congestion control. This congestion control makes packet transmission rate low. However, F-SNOOP improves TCP performance based on SNOOP and Freeze TCP that use Zero Window Advertisement(ZWA) message when handoff occurs in wireless network.

Virtual Brain-endoscopy is an effective method to detect lesion in brain. Brain is the most part of the human and is not easy part to operate so that reconstructing in 3D may be very helpful to doctors. In this paper, it is suggested that to increase the reliability, method of matching 3D object with the 2D CT slice. 3D Brain-endoscopy is reconstructed with 35 slices of 2D CT images. There is a plate in 3D brain-endoscopy so as to drag upward or downward to match the relevant 2D CT image. Relevant CT image guides the user to recognize the exact part he or she is investigating. VRML Script is used to make the change in images and PlaneSensor node is used to transmit the y coordinate value with the CT image. The result is test on the PC which has the following spec. 400MHz Clock-speed, 512MB ram, and FireGL 3000 3D accelerator is set up. The VRML file size is 3.83MB. There was no delay in controlling the 3D world and no collision in changing the CT images. This brain-endoscopy can be also put to practical use on medical education through internet.

In high speed communication networks, the determination of a transmission rate is critical for the stability of a closed-loop network system with the congestion control scheme. In ATM networks, the available bit rate (ABR) service is based on a feedback mechanism, i.e., the network status is transferred to the ABR source by a resource management (RM) cell. RM cells contain the traffic information of the downstream nodes for the traffic rate control. However, the traffic status of the downstream nodes can not be directly transferred to the source node in the IP based networks. In this paper, a new rate-based congestion control scheme using an exponential weighted moving average algorithm is proposed to build an efficient feedback control law for congestion avoidance in high speed communication networks. The proposed congestion control scheme assures the stability of switch buffers and higher link utilization of the network. Moreover, we note that the proposed congestion scheme can flexibly work along with the increasing number of input sources in the network, which results in an improved scalability.
The successful replacement of missing teeth has been one driving aim behind the emergence of implant dentistry as both a technology and clinical vocation for over four decades. To date, a multitude of dental implant devices had been designed and utilized in the patient population. Most of these devices have been designed without support of the engineering criteria. The long-term success of any dental implant is dependent upon the optimization of stresses which occurs during oral function and parafunction. Although many studies have examined the biologic interactions between dental implants and living tissue, few studies have been reported on the biomechanical aspects of dental implants. The purpose of this study was to analyze the stress distribution of osseointegrated prosthesis on certain conditions, such as amount of load, location of load, length of fixtures, number of fixtures used, arch shape, bone quality, etc. Three dimentional finite element analysis was used for this study. FEM models were created using commercial software(Super SAP. for IBM 16 bit AT computer. All elements were 8-node brick, isoparametric. Mandible and prosthesis was modeled with 780 elements and 1074 nodes. The results were as follows : 1. In case of cantilever extension, there was a compressive stress at the base of the first implant and a tensile stress at the base of the second implant. 2. The stresses were linearly proportional to the amount of load. 3. The stresses were linearly proportional to the length of cantilever. 4. There was a stress concentration at the neck of the implant and bone under horizontal loads.
