LDF의 실시간 혈류추정을 위한 알고리즘 (An algorithm for real time blood flow estimation of LDF)

  • This paper describes a real time algorithm for blood flow estimation of LDF(laser Doppler flowmeter). Many algorithms for blood flow estimation are using power spectral density of Doppler signal by blood flow. In these research, the fast Fourier transformation is used to estimate power spectral density. This is a block processing procedure rather than real time processing. The algorithm in this paper used parametric spectral estimation. This has real time capability by estimation of AR(autoregressive) parameters sample by sample, and has smoothing power spectrum. Also, the frequency resolution is not limited by number of samples used to estimate AR parameter. Another advantage of this algorithm is that AR model enhance SNR.

  • This paper describes pattern classification algorithm of ECG using back-propagation neural network. We presents new feature extractor using second order approximating function as the input signals of neural network. We use 9 significant parameters which were extracted by feature extractor. 5 most characterized ECG signal pattern is classified accurately by neural network. We use AHA database to evaluate the performance ol the proposed pattern classification algorithm.

  • We examine the compression performance of two irreversible (lossy) compression techniques, ADCT-VQ (Adaptive Discrete Cosine Trandform - Vector Quantization) and JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts group) which are basis of medical image information systems. Under the same compression ratio, MSE(Mean Square Error) is 0.578 lower in JPEG than in ADCT-VQ while SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) is 1.236 dB higher in JPEG than in ADCT-VQ.

  • We have developed algorithm for calculating tumor dose from transmission dose in radiation therapy. Using data acquisition card and LabVIEW programming language, we acquired the signal from 9 ion chambers, processed and displayed it in real time. And we also developed GUI(Graphic User Interface) for system operation.

  • In this study, ECG was recorded during sleep patients with obstructive sleep apnea. We detecte(heart rate variability) signal from the ECG wa QRS detection algorithm. And we observed HRV by the power spectrum density using autoregr modeling. The experimental results were analysis sleep stage 1, sleep stage 2, sleep stage 3, sleep s sleep stage REM. In experimental result, the PSD with obstructive sleep apnea patients was distributed low frequency band except sleep step 4. These effect means that the sympathetic nervous system affected the sleep stage 1, 2, REM and the parasympathetic nervous system affected the sleep stage 3, 4 with obstructive sleep apnea patients.

  • A neural spike sorting technique has been developed that also has the capability of template learning. A system of software has been written that first obtains the templates by learning, and then performs the sorting of the spikes into single units. The spike sorting can be done in real time. The template learning consists of spike detection based on the discrete Haar transform (DHT), feature extraction by clustering of spike amplitude and duration, classification based on rms error, and fabrication of templates. The developed algorithms can be implemented into real time systems using digital signal processors.

  • 본 연구에서는 강건 시지연추정 알고리즘을 바탕으로 하여 표면근전도 신호로부터 새로운 근섬유 전도속도 측정방법을 제안하였다. 제시한 방법은 가우시안 가정 하에서 유도된 기존의 방법들로는 불가능한 비가우시안 충격성잡음을 포함하는 표면근전도 신호를 대상으로도 정확하게 근섬유 전도속도를 측정할 수 있다. 제시한 방법의 평가를 위하여 먼저, 마미총 증후군에 걸린 근질환자의 근전도 신호가 비가우시안 $\alpha$-stable 확률분포로 모델링할 수 있음을 보였으며, 정상인과 근질환자 6명의 피검자로부터 족저단신근과 내측광근에서 각각 근전도 신호를 수집하여 실험한 근섬유 전도속도 측정결과를 타 연구자들과 비교, 평가하였다. 실험결과, 족저단신근의 경우 근섬유 전도속도가 평균 4.60$\pm$0.50m/s로 내측광근의 경우 5.66$\pm$0.59m/s로 각각 구할 수 있었다.

  • In this study, measuring eye movements with E.O.G. to targets beyond 20$^{\circ}$ from fixation point, results are as follows. (1) When the eyes turn toward targets of more than 20$^{\circ}$ eccentricity, the first saccadic eye movement falls short of the target. The presence of image of the target off the fovea(visual error signal) subsequent to such an undershoot elicits, after short interval, corrective saccadic eye movements(usually one) which place the image of the target on the fovea. (2) There are different programming modes at retina for eye movement to targets within and beyond 20$^{\circ}$ from the fixation point. (3) Saccadic system, preparing the direction and amplitude of eye movement completes the corrective saccadic eye movements. (4) Distribution of latency and intersaccadic interval(I.S.I.)are frequently multi modal, with a seperation between modes of 25[msec]. (5) There are two types of saccadic eye movements for the double-step targets. This fact suggests that the visual information is sampled stochastically. (6) The new model of saccadic system including the dissociation of visual functions dependent on retinal eccentricity is required.

  • The purpose of this study is to help the hearing impaired's speech training with a visible speech processing system. In brief, this system converts the features of speech signals into graphics on monitor, and adjusts the features of hearing impaired to normal ones. There are form ant and pitch in the features used for this system. They are extracted using the digital signal processing such as linear prediotive method or AMDF(Average Magnitude Difference Function). In order to effectively train for the hearing impaired's abnormal speech, easilly visible feature has been being studied.

  • This study describes the ambulatory ECG monitoring system for the remote autom atic diagnosis. System: tlardware is based on one chip microcomputer(80c31) and its peripherals which consists of A/D, EPROM, RAM, LCD display and two preamplifiers, Power circuits, control logic circuits. A/D converted data were differentiated and low pass filtered. The detection of QRS complex and R point were accomplished by software algorithm based on adaptive threshold computed on low pass fi:leered signal. Rhythm analysis is performed by RR interval and average RR interval. The performance of QRS detection algorithm is evaluated by using MIT/BIH data base. Using this system, the trends of the arrythmia during the long term could be saved and displayed.
