마이크로광조형에서 고 세장비 구조물 집적화 가공을 위한 UV 경화성 수지의 물성 개선 (Improvement of Mechanical Properties of UV-curable Resin for High-aspect Ratio Microstructures Fabricated in Microstereolithography)

  • Recently, microstructures fabricated using microstereolithography technology have been used in the biological, medical and mechanical fields. Microstereolithography can fabricate real 3D microstructures with fine features, although there is presently a limited number of materials available for use in the process. Deformation of the fine features on a fabricated microstructure remains a critical issue for successful part fabrication, and part deformation can occur during rinsing or during fabrication as a result of fluid flow forces that occur during movement of mechanical parts of the system. Deformation can result in failure to fabricate a particular feature by breaking the feature completely, spatial deflection of the feature, or attaching the feature to neighboring microstructures. To improve mechanical strength of fabricated microstructures, a clay nanocomposite can be used. In particular, a high-aspect ratio microstructure can be fabricated without distortion using photocurable liquid resin containing a clay nanocomposite. In this paper, a clay nanocomposite was blended with a photocurable liquid resin to solve the deformation problem that occurs during fabrication and rinsing. An optimal mixture ratio of a clay nanocomposite was found through tensile testing and the minimal allowable distance between microstructures was found through fabrication experimentation. Finally, using these results, high-aspect ratio microstructures were fabricated using a clay nanocomposite resin without distortion.

  • Generally, the esthetics is thought to mean health. On the assumption that dental esthetics must also be in harmony with general health, dental restorations have to be made in order for patients to appear to be healthy and vivacious in their mouth and result in good appearances. Therefore, I wish that patients live their life without a sense of disharmony in esthetic and biological aspect. This article is to explain some cases that manifest improvement of quality in dental treatment by means of team approach.

  • The KOMPSAT system incorporates multiple missions designed to provide various applications in the field of Korean peninsula observation covering land, sea and coastal zones. The missions are Korea cartography (1:25,000 scale maps of the Korean peninsula), biological oceanography and science instrument accommodation. The operational availability of KOMPSAT TTC system should be predicted more accurately because its failure has a significant influence on satellite command and tracking and on satellite data collection. In this paper, system availability structure of KOMPSAT TTC system are made and availability of KOMPSAT TTC system is analyzed aspect to the system operation in accordance with logistic condition.

  • The notion of our non-associative algebra is obtained from the Lotka-Volterra system of differential equation describing competitiion between animals or vegetals species and also in the kinetic theory of gasses. For the structure of an algebra, the existence of idempotents is of particular interest. But also from the biological aspect the existence of such elements is of interest because the equilibria of a population which can be described by an algebra correspond to idempotents of this algebra. Thus we present some properties of the general natures for a Lotka-Volterra algebra associated to a weight function and idempotents elements.

  • We met the continued population growth, contamination of both surface and groundwaters, deficiency of water resources, and increase of water demand. Wastewater reclamation and reusing system are important facilities in water resources planning aspect. The required water quality for reclamed wastewater varies with each application. This study was conducted to examine the possibilities of the wastewater reclamation and reusing on milk manufacturing wastewater. Biofiltration could reduce the COD$_{Cr}$, NH$_{3}$-N. Turbidty was reduced highly by coagulation. In conclusion, we identified the possibilities of wastewater reclamation and reusing on milk manufacturing wastewater's by biological activated carbon filter.

A new record of Lyssa zampa (Butler) from Korea

  • An Uraniidae moth, Lyssa zampa (Butler, 1869) is newly discovered from southern Korea. One male specimen was collected at a valley of south aspect of Mt. Hallasan, Jejudo in July, 2014. This species is briefly described and illustrated here. DNA barcoding sequence (Genbank KU160388) for the species was provided for species identification.

  • Fingerprints have been widely used in the biometric authentication because of its performance, uniqueness and universality. Lately, the speed of identification has become a very important aspect in the fingerprint-based security applications. Also, the reliability still remains the main issue in the fingerprint identification. A fast and reliable fingerprint matching algorithm based on the process of the 'self-nonself' discrimination in the biological immune system was proposed. The proposed algorithm is organized by two-matching stages. The 1st matching stage utilized the self-space and MHC detector string set that are generated from the information of the minutiae and the values of the directional field. The 2nd matching stage was made based on the local-structure of the minutiae. The proposed matching algorithm reduces matching time while maintaining the reliability of the matching algorithm.

  • 신체화를 이해하는데 신체화를 형성하게 된 행동이면의 정신적인 갈등배경을 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 그러나 신체화의 생물학적 과정을 파악하고 증상의 유지요인과 악화요소를 알아보아 변화되어 가는 형성과정을 이해하는 점이 더욱 중요하다. 그리고 문화-사회적 특성에 따라 신체증상호소의 방법이나 내용이 다르다는 점을 염두에 두어야 한다. 신체화를 이해하는 데에는 심리적, 생물학적, 사회, 인종, 역사적인 요소가 모두 함께 영향을 미치므로 통합적인 관점에서 파악해 나가지 않으면 안된다.

  • This review focused on the pharmacological treatment of alcoholism, especially alcoholism-related mental disorder. The pharmacological agent for alcoholism can be divided into the following categories : anticraving agent, aversive agent, agent to treat acute alcohol withdrawal, agent to diminish drinking by treating associated psychiatric pathology, agent to induce sobriety in intoxicated individuals. Following trends are included in new trends of pharmacological treatment of alcoholism. What are precise conditions amenable to pharmacological intervention? ; How can psychosocial and behavioral intervention be integrated with pharmacotherapy to enhance treatment outcome? ; Is the concept of "matching" specific pharmacotherapy treatment to different aspect of alcoholism more efficacious than a more generalized medicational approach to treatment? One of the most important factors for alcoholics treatment is good and proper therapeutic relationship with patients and setting up individually specialized treatment program is also important.

  • The neuropsychiatric sequelae of traumatic brain injury are effects on complex aspect of cognition, emotion and behavior. They include problems with attention and arousal, concentration, executive function, intellectual changes, memory inpairments, personality changes, affective disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, apathy, aggression, and irritability. There are many useful therapeutic approaches available for people who have been brain injuries. Although a multifactioral, multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to treatment is proposed, for purposes of exposition the author have divided treatment into psychopharmacological, cognitive, behavioral, psychological, and social interventions.
