한국적 패션디자인의 현황 연구 (A Study on the Current Situation of Korean Fashion Design)

  • Hanbok had the history of more than 2,000 years, so Hanbok represents the traditional Korean style of dress design. Since 1980's, Hanbok has been changed to be suitable for contemporary society with diverse titles such as reformed Korean clothes, living Korean clothes, contemporary Korean clothes, and fashion Korean clothes, etc. However, Korean clothes of such a new style have not overcome a limitation in traditional styles in terms of design. In this regard, it is necessary for us to try to have the world fashion industry recognize the fashion look of 'Korean style' through the contemporary fashion of Korean image and to pursue the globalization of Korean style through this fashion. This study is firstly to review the characteristics of Korean beauty, secondly to examine the concept in Korean fashion design, and thirdly to iud out the characteristics of contemporary Korean fashion design through the study of successful cases. The characteristics of Korean beauty can be classified into natural beauty, abstract beauty, and humorous beauty. Korean beauty shows the nature and the life of Korean people, and it should make people aware of the character and the tradition of Korean culture. The Korean fashion design is the one that utilize the Korea's unique sentiment or sense of Korean beauty that has been succeeded from the ancient to the present into fashion design by way of visual element like design, color and texture. And the successful Korean fashion designs were the universal fashion designs that enable Korean culture to be hewn to the world through fashion and that enable the entire world market to agree and to accept Korean style. In order to create the global Korean design, it is necessary to assimilate the Western style to Korean style and newly create it into a compromised form. And it is necessary to look for a universal sense of Korean beauty that could be accepted by the people of the world.

20대 여성의 미용형태별 건강위해 실태조사 (A Research on the Health Hazards by the Patterns of Beauty Care)

  • With the increasing number of women involved in social activities, beauty industry has flourished. More women than ever before are concerned about make-up, hair care, skin care, and weight control, etc. With the success and commercialization of beauty industry, unconfirmed beauty care services have been introduced in the market. However, the health hazard from diverse beauty care services has not been systematically addressed. This study has the following two purposes: 1) to examine the utilization pattern of diverse beauty care services; and 2) to examine the health hazard from beauty care services. For this study, two major universities located in Seoul area were selected. While 450 female college students were selected from one women's university, the other 450 were from mixed university. Using survey questionnaire, we interviewed with 900 female college students. The results are as follows: As for the beauty care patterns, makeup accounted for 78.6%, Skin care 49.5%, weight/body control 32.0%, hair care 81.5%, and cosmetic operation 14.9%, indicating significant high rates of makeup(x2=9.215, p=0.002) and hair care(x2=4.435, p=0.035) at both mixed and women's universities. The health hazard was measured using four questions. The past studies have not paid special attention to the methodological issue of how to ask health hazard. Depending on how to ask health hazard, the percentage of respondents reporting health problems varied. When the respondents were asked whether or not they had suffered health problems for a short period, over 60% of respondents reported health problems; when they were asked in other ways-1) whether or not they had suffered health problems for a long period, 2) whether or not they had suffered whole body problems, 3) whether or not they had permanent traces on skin due to beauty care activities-, the percentage of respondents reporting health problems dropped substantially to less than 10%, This finding indicates the importance of ‘words’ used in questions. The relationships between health problems and utilization of beauty care services were examined, using χ2 test or t test. We found that there was a significant relationship between health problem and beauty care.

뷰티 상업광고가 20대 남,녀의 뷰티 상품 구매 결정에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Beauty Commercial Advertising on Men and Women in Their 20's Purchase of Beauty Products)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 20대 남녀의 뷰티 트렌드 정보를 바탕으로 성별에 따른 뷰티 상업광고의 영향력을 파악하고, 일종의 마케팅 수단으로 쓰이는 뷰티 상업광고의 효과를 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위해 외모에 대한 관심과 SNS 사용이 가장 높은 20대 남녀를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 여성은 접근성, 신뢰성 정보성이 가장 높은 광고로 모두 유튜브 광고를 택했고 남성은 각각 인스타그램 광고, TV 광고, 유튜브 광고를 택했으며 그 결과 20대 여성에게 가장 영향력 있는 광고는 유튜브 광고, 남성에게 가장 영향력 있는 광고는 접근성이 높은 인스타그램 광고라는 점을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 앞으로의 뷰티 시장에서 서비스 및 마케팅 분야에 새로운 전략을 구축하는 데에 활용될 수 있다.

패션 및 뷰티 제품의 모바일 쇼핑에 영향을 미치는 마켓 메이븐 및 시간지향특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects that Personal Characteristics of Market Maven and Time Orientation have on Mobile Shopping - With a Focus on Mobile Shopping -)

  • Mobile shopping, through the use of the smart phone, has become a very popular shopping method for consumers due to it not being limited by time or place. This research aims do the following:1)find the causes for consumers shifting to mobile shopping with the focus on fashion and beauty items; and in order to so, this research will use the TAM that was found by David et al (1989), and 2) distinguish any behavioral differences between consumer groups divided into purchasing intention of fashion and beauty items through smart phone. Path analysis was performed to verify the cause-and-effect relationship between the variables. Personal characteristics(i.e. market maven, time orientation), perceived usability, ease of use, attitude towards mobile shopping, and purchase intentions were all treated as dependant variables. The results showed that attitude towards mobile shopping was the most important variable on mobile shopping intentions. Time-oriented and Market Maven were thought to affect mobile shopping attitude and the dependent variables of purchase intention. Also, when purchasing smart phones, consumers highly valued smart phone's popularity; people with higher purchasing intention mainly used entertainment and utility apps. The following are the main reasons for not purchasing through mobile shopping: they are slower than computers, inconveniences in viewing due to small size of the screen, and security issues. The consumers used the internet as their main source of acquiring daily information. In this research, factors that affect the purchase intention were studied. However, it is difficult to firmly insist that this research correctly predicts the actual purchase intention-further studies need to be done to investigate the relationship between mobile purchase intention and actual purchase intention.

인물의 매력에 관련된 아름다움의 차원 (The Beauty Dimensions Related to Human Attractiveness)

  • 대부분의 경영분석가들은 뷰티산업이 미래의 주요산업의 하나가 될 것이라고 예견하고 있다. 뷰티산업은 뷰티에 관련된 서비스와 상품을 포함하고 있는데, 이 시장에서의 경쟁은 더욱 치열해지고 있다. 뷰티 서비스와 뷰티 상품을 마케팅하기 위해서는 뷰티가 측정될 수 있어야 하지만, 실제적으로 뷰티를 측정할 수 있는 수단은 사실상 개발되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 Langmeyer and Shank(1994)의 연구를 바탕으로 인물의 매력을 단일의 차원이 아닌 다차원으로 규명하고자 하였다. 총 258명의 대학생 응답자를 대상으로 인물의 매력에 관련된 뷰티의 차원에 관련된 설문을 실시했고, 이를 바탕으로 인물의 매력에 관련된 뷰티의 차원을 도출하고, 뷰티 측정에 대한 관리적 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 수행된 정량적 분석에 기초하여 최종적으로 인물 매력에 관련된 4가지 뷰티 차원을 도출하였는데, 2개 차원은 인물의 내면의 아름다움에 관련된 것(역동적 성격, 배려)이었고, 나머지 2개 차원은 인물의 외면의 아름다움에 관련된 것(형상, 스타일)이었다. 또한 본 연구에서는 추가적으로 응답자 특성에 따라 아름다움 인식에 차이가 있는지 분석하였다. 응답자 특성으로는 성별, 외적 아름다움의 인식 차이, 자신의 외모 만족도가 고려되었다. 분석결과는 자신의 외모 만족도와 아름다움의 인식 가치가 본 연구에서 도출된 아름다움 차원에 있어서 아름다움 인식에 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여주고 있다: 1)자신의 외모 만족도가 높은 경우 전반적으로 외모차원과 심성차원의 아름다움을 모두 높게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다, 2)아름다움의 인식 가치가 높은 경우 외면의 아름다움 차원을 내면의 아름다움 차원보다 상대적으로 더 긍정적으로 평가하는 것으로 나타났다.

한방 화장품 소비성향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Propensity to Consume Oriental Herbal Cosmetics)

  • 본 연구는 최근 급성장하고 있는 국내 한방 화장품 시장을 점검해 보고 여성 소비자들의 화장품 구매행동을 통해 한방화장품이 어떻게 인식되고 있으며, 앞으로 어떻게 육성, 발전시켜 나가야할 것인가를 조사하였다. 서울에 거주하는 20세${\sim}$50세 성인 여성 소비자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했으며, 총 400부의 설문지를 배포하여 회수된 설문지 중 344부를 분석하여 유의적인 통계결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 한방 화장품의 시장 현황과 사용실태에 대한 기초 정보 제공을 통해 소비자의 요구를 보다 직접적으로 파악함으로써 한방 화장품 시장에 대한 마케팅 전략 수립 시 기초 자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

한국, 중국, 일본 남성 소비자의 화장품 사용 실태와 발전방향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Use of Cosmetics by Male Consumers in South Korea, China, and Japan and the Direction for Development)

  • 본 연구는 아세안 시장을 중심으로 코로나19의 창궐로 인해 급격하게 달라진 남성 화장품 시장 중 주요 경쟁국인 일본, 중국과 비교 분석하였다. 한중일에 거주하는 MZ세대 남성 300명에게 설문을 받은 결과를 연구 분석자료로 활용하였으며, 수집된 자료의 통계 SPSS 21.0 버전을 이용하여 분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 먼저 구매행동분석에 대한 결과이다. 한중일 3개국 남성 소비자의 화장품 평균 구매비용은 모두 30,000원 미만으로 나타났다. 화장품 구매요인으로는 3개국 모두 기능성, 사용감이 상위를 기록했다. 둘째, 선호하는 브랜드에 대한 답변에서는 한국과 중국은 해외브랜드에 개방적인 반면 일본은 주로 자국 브랜드를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 화장품 구매요인으로는 3개국 모두 기능성, 사용감이 상위를 기록했다. 선호하는 브랜드에 대한 답변에서는 한국과 중국은 해외브랜드에 개방적인 반면 일본은 주로 자국 브랜드를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 코로나19 이후의 화장품 사용 변화에 대한 결과이다. 코로나19 이후의 피부고민에 대한 답변으로 한국, 일본의 경우 여드름이 가장 높게 나타났으며 중국의 경우 피지 분비 증가가 가장 높게 나타났다. 피지에 대한 고민은 3개국 모두 상위로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 아세안 시장에서 한국 남성 화장품의 수출 경쟁력을 확대하기 위한 기초자료로 제안하고자 한다.

색조화장품 구매행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Purchasing Behavior of Shade Cosmetics)

  • Shade cosmetics that were considered to be women's exclusive possession, are now expanding its market to men and teenagers. As a result, development of subdivided shade cosmetics is becoming active. In these market environments consumers demand various personalized desires through beauty care, therefore enterprises have to establish marketing strategies to meet these desires. Accordingly this study aimed to provide information actually needed in cosmetics development by researching shade cosmetics in subdivision according to items and basic data that will be helpful in establishing marketing strategies of shade cosmetics. The survey was conducted among adult females with age of 20 to 26, living in Seoul and several local cities. 387 survey papers were used in the analysis among 500 survey papers distributed. The results were summarized as following. First of all, many women were doing overall makeup generally. The younger they tended to do partial makeup more and the older they tended to do overall makeup more according to the analysis on actual conditions of using shade cosmetics. Many women got information related to shade cosmetics from friends or family. This is an example of the fact that shows collecting information from human relationship such as friends and family played an important role and surrounding environment can be a factor that can have impact on purchasing behavior. Purpose of makeup was mostly to show courtesy and the younger they tend to answer that they do makeup to look beautiful. The order of the most frequently used shade makeup was makeup base>foundation>two way cake. The most important focusing point in shade makeup was the eye. In choosing colors they chose their favorites colors most frequently.

국내 맞춤형 화장품 온·오 프라인 서비스 분석 (An Analysis of On-Line and Offline Services for Customized Cosmetics in Korea)

  • Customized cosmetics are emerging as a consumer product that companies should pay attention to in the beauty industry due to the combination of market trends and institutional introduction of customized cosmetics. In this study, six offline service brands and online service brands currently in Korea were selected to understand the current status of domestic customized cosmetics online and offline services and to derive detailed characteristics, and the cases of each brand were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, customized cosmetics services could be classified online and offline. Second, customized cosmetics brands could be divided into general brand types and brand extension types. Third, skin data measurements could be classified into genetic analysis, big data-based surveys, and device measurements. Fourth, customized cosmetics manufacturing could be classified into a device manufacturing system, a consultant manufacturing system, and an individual production process system. Fifth, customized cosmetics distribution and delivery could be classified into same-day sales, general delivery, and regular delivery. The results of this study are meaningful in that they have identified and analyzed the current status of personalized cosmetics on-line and offline systems in recent trends, and it was confirmed that creative attempts in the domestic customized cosmetics market continue to change. It is hoped that this study will provide information and ideas to the beauty industry and related experts in the future and be used as basic data for customized cosmetics marketing
