The purposes of this study were, a more systemic and desirable improvement method of retraining program was researched for cultivation of field beauticians through acknowledgement of the environmental change and phenomenon of beauty shops by time and through recognition of current retraining situation. 1) In terms of acknowledgement of the necessity for beautician retraining, the item on the necessity for beautician retraining showed beauticians' high requirement for retraining. 2) The main problem of reeducation was that reeducation curricular of each organization have not been programed. 3) Presence education was the main thing to be completed for reeducation program improvement. We also could know that the improvement and complement of work environment, the education extension besides technology education, and the rapid acquisition of information as improvement were recognized importantly.

This study is to know the relations between self-efficacy and a factor to decide their major for beautician students. with questionnaires from 180 beautician students in Seoul, we could see a significant result with p < .05 from self-confidence and self-control efficacy of self-efficacy according to major satisfaction, a high level of significant result with p < .01 from level of difficulty of assignment, a significant result with p < .05 from information collect of career-deciding factor, and a greatly high level with p < .001 from goal setting, career planning and self-rating. As to verify the correlation of sub variables between self-efficacy and career-deciding factor, I analyzed it. Then I found that every variables except problem solve in self-confidence of self-efficacy variables showed a significant result and every variables between sub-variables and others in career-deciding factor showed a significant outcome. In conclusion, it is considered that self-efficacy resulting from major satisfaction plays a critical role in students career decision-making and that students self-efficacy and career deciding factors are corelated, given the meaningful outcome from them.
Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze the general properties of beauticians and to analyze correlation between their experiences of indigestion and relevant factors and thus to provide basic data to prevent obstacles to beautician's health. Methods: A self-administered survey on 257 female beauticians in Daegu from March 15 to May 30, 2005 was conducted. Cross-link analysis was used to examine indigestion in relation to the general properties of beauticians, and correlation analysis was used to determine the level of relationship between indigestion and relevant factors, and multiple regression analysis was used to determine the degree of effects of relevant factors on indigestion. Results: The results can be summarized as follows: 1. As for indigestion by general properties and beauty-related properties, there were significant differences in gender(p<0.01), age(p<0.05) and marriage status(p<0.05) among general properties and there were significant differences in the number of holiday(p<0.05), beauty culture career(p<0.01), and the degree of satisfaction on duty(p<0.001) among beauty-related properties. As for indigestion by eating habit and health-related properties, there were significant differences in the degrees of regular eating(p<0.001) and regular living habit(p<0.001), and eating speed(p<0.01). 2. Factors relevant to the eating habit showing significant correlation with indigestion were regular eating habit, taking well-balanced nutrition, and taking salty food. Among them, the regular eating habit was shown to be the most relevant with the correlation coefficient of -0.253(p<0.01). The general and beauty-related factors showing significant correlation with indigestion were beauty culture career, number of holiday, and regular living habit. And regular living habit was shown to be the most relevant with the correlation coefficient of -0.260(p<0.001). 3. Results from the regression analysis showed that relevant factors having significant effects on indigestion were gender, beauty culture career, satisfaction on duty, eating speed, regular eating habit and regular living habit. And satisfaction on duty was found to have the greatest effect on indigestion. Conclusions: The findings of this study could be effectively used to develop a practical management strategy to prevent $beauticia{\acute{n}}s$ indigestion, and to promote $beauticia{\acute{n}}s$ health, and ultimately to improve the $beauticia{\acute{n}}s$ quality of life.

This never-ending changes and everlasting challenges under the industrial circumstances induce us to compete against survival or selection. We accordingly need to take steps in order to survive excessive competitions by the various differentiated strategies in Beauty and Cosmetology markets. The purpose of this study aims for making the best use of this actual proof which enables the effective customer management and managerial things of beauty shop through theoretical contemplation in all aspects of managerial beauty shop and the reason why the customers give the second visit(revisit) or choosing the shop again(coming again) by demographic characteristics. The method of this study was surveying 200 re-visited customers at the same beauty shop in GwangJu Metropolitan city for a whole year by questionnaire regarding the correlation between revisiting of the same beauty shop and demographic characteristics. After surveying, we coded these questionnaires finding out its distribution(range) by SPSS statistical package with Frequency Analysis in response to demographic characteristics and also performed ANOVA and Regression. In brief, there is big difference between men and women which explains the second visiting(revisit) originates in technical fact; hair protection. Most women have paid great attention to their hair protection while men mostly have ignored. However, men attached themselves to the hairdressers' appearances and the distance from their house to the beauty shop which did not mean a lot to women. Beside s, there were many differentiation in accordance with marital status, age, education and their business. With this study, we easily generalize the fact that customers revisit a beauty shop not because of beauty shop facilities but because of human interests.?Beautician's service has certain specialties which show the interaction between customer and beautician in the field. Now we can come to this conclusion that we need to endeavor to develop the service spirit and employees' welfare. Their attitudes towards job satisfaction go well with customer ' s satisfaction in this way.
Excessive work intensity and stress from customers visiting nail salons due to the increase in the frequency of visits and treatments to nail salons of modern people are negatively affecting the job psychology of nail salons. Accordingly, according to the need to prepare realistic and specific measures to increase job efficacy and job satisfaction through nail treatment techniques of nail salons, the perceived job efficacy and job This study was conducted based on the research model and hypothesis for satisfaction. As a result of the study, it was found that the nail gradation technique induces the highest job efficacy of nail polishers, and it was found that the more gel manicure techniques were applied, the higher the job satisfaction of nail polishers was. Through this study, it is expected that the complex application between various nail techniques will be possible and the coordinates of the job psychology of nail beauticians will be presented, and at the same time, it will serve as basic data for improving the work environment and developing new nail treatment techniques.

This study was implemented to amass and analyze the data from 500 Seoul district beauty shop workers, which came from the use of the SPSS18.0. The statistical analysis was conducted through frequency for demographic characteristics, validity for factors analysis by using Varimax rotation, and reliability for Cronbach's alpha coefficient.. Also, the analysis was once again analyzed through the Pearson correlation coefficient, where our hypothesis was proven through regression analysis. Our research results have shown that, first, job satisfaction and job performance differed over matters like gender, age, education level, employment conditions, job category, overall work experience, daily work hours, and monthly income. Second, job satisfaction was shown to have a significant influence on job performance, where higher job satisfaction levels led to higher job performance. Thus, job satisfaction was a great factor to increase job performance by fulfilling their needs level. Also, they would act more positive and future-oriented when they have special needs like motivate achievement, wage, promotion, and reward. Therefore, managerial staff should continually develop any programs in order to upgrade beautician's job performance through their job satisfaction.

Beauty in the modern society is a professional occupation in which art and science are fusion-integrated, and in order to enter as a beautician, obtaining a national technical certificate is a routine customs clearance procedure. As it is time to present objective data on the national technology license and employment fields preferred by prospective beauticians, it is a time to analyze the perceptions and trends of the national technical license of the beautician preferred by beauty academy students who design success in the future beauty industry. The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual conditions of students before and after acquiring national technical qualifications for nail cosmetologists, and to provide basic data for building systematic data according to students' competency and effective educational methods for acquiring qualifications. The statistical package program SPSS v 18.0 was used for the trend of acquiring national technical qualifications for nail cosmetologists among each variable according to careers in the nail beauty industry for nail beauty students residing in Gwangju. As a result of using the statistical package program SPSS v 18.0, the analysis showed that the proportion of women (80.8%), single (70.8%), 20s (47.7%), college or university graduates (26.2%), and students (42.3%) was high. In addition, as a result of cross-analysis of the period and cost according to gender for obtaining the national technical license of the nail beautician, it was concluded that the Pearson chi-square significant probability (p) was .416 and .899, respectively, and there was a difference between men and women. The field experience of the nail beauty industry was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on the training period, course cost, educational institution, and exam experience (p <.001) for obtaining a certificate. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to promote the development of nail beauty marketing and to present a constructive vision of the nail beauty industry to be pursued in the future.
