확률에 기초한 한국의 기본 설계풍속 주정 (Probability-Based Estimates of Basic Design Wind Speeds In Korea)

  • This study presents rational methods for probability-based estimates of basic design wind speeds in Korea and develops a risk-bases nation-wide map of design wind speeds. The paper examines the fitting of the Type-I extreme model to maximum yearly non-typhoon wind data from long-term records based on the conventional method and to maximum monthly nod-typhoon wind data from short-term records following Grigorin's approach. The paper also reviews the applicability of the method using short records of about 5 years. The basic design wind speeds for typhoon and non-typhoon wind at a station are made to be obtained from a mixed model which is given as a product of typhoon and non-typhoon extreme wind distributions. A practical method which is based on the fitting of the Type I model to records or typhoon and non-typhoon mixed wind data at a station is also preposed in this study.

  • This paper presents AUTOSAR-ready light software architecture (AUTOSAR-Lite), which is a light weighted version of the AUTOSAR, for automotive embedded control systems. The proposed AUTOSAR-Lite reduces overhead problems caused by the excessive standard specifications of AUTOSAR. Concurrently, AUTOSAR-Lite keeps advantages of AUTOSAR such as a scalability, re-usability, reliability, and transferability. The fundamental design of AUTOSAR-Lite is originated from the AUTOSAR standard. AUTOSAR-Lite is composed of three layers such as an application software, runtime environment, and basic software layer. The application software layer adopts component-based design methodology as AUTOSAR. The runtime environment layer integrates interfaces between application and basic software layers. In case of the basic software layer, restrictions of the module configurations and interfaces of basic software are minimized. In order to validate the feasibility of AUTOSAR-Lite, a software design result based on AUTOSAR-Lite software architecture for electronic throttle control (ETC) system is suggested.

급액가열기, 재생기를 적용한 유기랭킨사이클(ORC)의 열역학적 효율에 관한 해석적 연구 (Thermodynamic Efficiencies of Organic Rankine Cycles with a Feed Liquid Heater or Regenerator)

  • A numerical study was performed for thermodynamic efficiencies of a basic ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle), ORC with a FLH (Feed Liquid Heater), and ORC with a regenerator. The efficiencies of the basic ORC were higher in the order of R113, R123, R245ca, and R245fa for its working fluids. It was confirmed that an optimal FLH pressure existed to maximize efficiency of the ORC with a FLH. A correlation was developed to predict the optimal FLH pressure as a function of evaporation and condensation pressure and its average absolute deviation was 0.505%. The efficiency enhancement of the basic ORC with a FLH was higher than that with a regenerator. It was presented that the basic ORC efficiency could be improved more than 10% by a FLH with $30^{\circ}C$ condensation and over $110^{\circ}C$ evaporation temperatures.

  • 최근 해외 건설시장에서 플랜트의 발주가 증가함에 따라 국내기업만의 독자적인 기술경쟁력을 확보하는 것이 요구된다. 국내 건설기업들은 상세설계 분야에서는 높은 경쟁력을 보이는 반면에 고부가 가치의 기본설계 분야에서는 취약점을 보이고 있다. 기본설계능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 먼저 플랜트 산업의 설계단계의 업무에서 발생하는 다양한 정보들을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 정보관리방안 제시를 위해 기본설계단계의 주요업무를 정의하고 특성을 분석하여 관리되어야 할 콘텐츠들을 도출하였다. 그리고 관련주체를 간의 업무 흐름과 연관성을 반영하여 콘텐츠 분류체계를 제시하였다. 제시된 분류체계는 문서, 도면, 기술자료, 이미지 등의 형태로 발생하는 정보들을 실무 사용자들이 원하는 시기에 사용하기 적합하게 제공할 수 있는 정보관리방안이 될 것이라 판단된다.

  • 본 연구는 확률에 기초한 한국의 기본 설계풍속 추정을 위한 합리적인 방법을 제시하고 위험도에 기초한 전국의 설계풍속지도를 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 장기기록 지역의 계절풍 연 최대 풍속자료와 단기기록 지역의 계절풍 월 최대 풍속자료의 극치 Type I 분포 모형에 대한 적합성을 검토하였고, 극치 태풍 풍속 분포 추정에서는 Monte-Carlo 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 간접적인 해석방법이 적용되었다. 태풍과 계절풍에 대한 기본 설계풍속은 두개 분포의 적(product)으로 된 혼합모형에서 구한다. 본 연구 결과로부터 제안된 모형과 방법은 현재 한국에서 가용한 단기기록 풍속자료를 이용한 위험도에 기초한 기본설계풍속과 기본 설계풍속지도의 개발에 실용적인 도구로 활용 가능하다고 본다.

  • Present paper shows the basic design procedure for platform support vessel operating in open sea, and hull form development process. General design concept considering the operating mission, operating sea condition and shipping freight, etc. is explained shortly. For the hull form design, the initial hull form was designed based on the reference PSVs. The resistance and propulsion test results for the initial hull form with twin Azimuth thruster were analyzed and a few items for improvement were derived. At the next stage, main parameters including Length, Cp-curve, Cb, Lcb, etc. were changed totally for the hull form improvement. Furthermore, 3 different bulbous bows for the fore-body design to reduce the wave resistance and after-body design to reduce the residual resistance were carried out. The best hull form among the 3 fore-bodies with same after-body was selected through the comparison of wave resistance calculation results. Twin ducted Azimuth thruster with the smaller propeller diameter than the former were adapted to increase the propulsive efficiency. The final hull form with the twin Azimuth thruster was evaluated to satisfy more than the target design speed 14 knots in sea condition with sea margin 15% at the 5,000kW BHP through the model test in KRISO.

Basic Design of Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor with Hybrid Stator poles

  • In this paper, a novel bearingless switched reluctance motor (BLSRM) with hybrid stator poles is proposed. The structure and operating principle are presented. In order to describe the design methodology clearly, analytical torque and radial force models are established. Further, basic design procedure is described. The numbers of phases and poles have important influence on the selection of structure. These effects, along with sizing of machine envelope and internal dimensions, make the machine design an insight-intensive effort. Effect of pole arcs and air-gap length on the production of torque and radial force are analyzed in detail. Mechanical design factors such as hoop stress and first critical speed are also considered. Based on the above analysis, the characteristics of the proposed BLSRM are analyzed. A prototype motor is designed and manufactured. The validity of the proposed structure is verified by the experimental results.

  • Generally, bridge designers must consider variable factors in design of bridge-structures. For this reason, it was difficult to make a design program till now. However, the rapid development of computers turns it into a possible one with considering complex factors and the advance of computer's language make us design programming. When we use the automatic design program including structural analysis(FEM), we can save the time and effort. Additionally, the automatic design program was generated to reduce the man' errors. Therefore, in this paper, the automatic design program of the Prestressed Concrete Slab Bridge was developed. This design program will support bridge designers with time that they can spend on a creative and efficient duty for development of design.

작동유체에 따른 온도차발전사이클의 성능 해석 (Performance Analysis of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion on Working Fluid Classification)

  • The thermodynamic performance of ocean thermal energy conversion with 1 kg/s geothermal water flow rate as a heat source was evaluated to obtain the basic data for the optimal design of cycle with respect to the classification of the working fluid. The basic thermodynamic model for cycle is rankine cycle and the geothermal water and deep seawater were adapted for the heat source of evaporator and condenser, respectively. R245fa, R134a are better to use as a working fluid than others in view of the use of geothermal water. It is important to select the proper working fluid to operate the ocean thermal energy conversion. So, this paper can be used as the basic data for the design of ocean thermal energy conversion with geothermal water and deep seawater.
