  • Our approach permits to capitalize the expert's knowledge as business rules by using an agent-based platform. The objective of our approach is to allow experts to manage the daily evolutions of business domains without having to use a technician, and to allow them to be implied, and to participate in the development of the application to accomplish the daily tasks of their work. Therefore, the manipulation of an expert's knowledge generates the need for information security and other associated technologies. The notion of cryptography has emerged as a basic concept in business rules modeling. The purpose of this paper is to present a cryptographic algorithm based approach to integrate the security aspect in business rules modeling. We propose integrating an agent-based approach in the framework. This solution utilizes a security agent with domain ontology. This agent applies an encryption/decryption algorithm to allow for the confidentiality, authenticity, and integrity of the most important rules. To increase the security of these rules, we used hybrid cryptography in order to take advantage of symmetric and asymmetric algorithms. We performed some experiments to find the best encryption algorithm, which provides improvement in terms of response time, space memory, and security.

  • Inshore tests were performed in order to verify the design concept of deep sea manganese nodule miner at a site near Hupo at East Sea of Korea in June of 2009. Total mining tests of the test miner, named 'Minero$^{(R)}$', together with flexible hose, lifting pump and lifting hose were accomplished. In this study, the performances of three subsystems of testminer (vehicle, pick-up device, and launch-and-recovery device) were analyzed for feasibility assessment of self-propelled remotely controlled miner, and also to compile basic data for designing a pilotminer. Performances of the test miner were defined based on the Functional Requirements of Axiomatic Design. The inshore tests revealed that the test miner generally satisfies the functional performances. Feasibility assessment and reflection on results are discussed within.

  • purpose of this study is to analyze the various phenomenon related to the subjectivism of aesthetic value for dress, which is impossible to describe with only functionalism, practically and objectivism of aesthetic value for dress based on Karl Rosencrantz\ulcorners theory of the Aesthetics of ugliness from the middle of 1980's to present. In other words, the ugliness had been selected and erected as the opposite meaning of beauty to head toward ultimate beauty, and clarify that ultimate beauty is achieved through the combination of beauty is achieved through the combination of beauty and ugliness. First, the ugliness and Rosencrantz\ulcorners theory of the Aesthetics of Ugliness had been examined theoretically in the aspect of the subjectivism of aesthetic value for dress and aesthetic category. The relationship between the artistic styles related to ugliness, such as Avant-garde, Primitivism of Expressionism, Grotesque, Decadence, Kitsch, Pastich\ulcornerParody, from the late 19c to present, and the dresses representing the ugly look such as Cyber Punk, Exotic look, Detester, Grunge, Hip-hop, etc, of 1990's had been studied by using photographic materials. In this study, the basic concepts of ugliness, including formlessness, inaccuracy and deformation, formed by K. Rosencrantz had been used to reveal the interaction between modem costume and the theory of ugliness.

  • This study suggests through an examination of maternity wear sold in domestic markets a design for maternity wear trousers that integrate functionality, aesthetics, and marketability. This study targeted women who had maternity wear experience to obtain basic information for the design of maternity wear trousers. This study conducted questionnaire research on maternity wear and surveyed the growing on-line maternity market. The results are as follows. First, in the questionnaire research on wearers of maternity wear, women 26-35 years old were the main consumers and emphasized comfortableness as the significant reason for buying and using maternity wear. Second, the centering on pants were evaluated to be the most uncomfortable item among maternity wear and confirms the necessity for a maternity wear design whose bodily fitness is high according to the trouser panel. Third, a standard for the specific design was established to solve maternity wear problems based on the analyzed information. This was established by having a concept as a minimal motive in 'new naturalism' that is the aesthetics of slackness for the $21^{st}$ century. A specific design was developed with 6 kinds for skirts and 9 kinds for pants.
