HNS 사고 대비/대응 전용 방제자원 적정배치에 관한 연구

  • 중국의 텐진항 시안화나트륨 폭발과 같이 적절치 않은 대응은 추가 폭발 및 막대한 피해로 이어지게 된다. HNS물질은 600여가지 이상으로 그 종류는 매우 다양하며, 물질마다의 특성이 제각각이다. HNS 물질의 특성을 정확히 분석하지 않고 대응작업을 수행하는 경우 텐진항의 사고와 같은 대형재난을 야기시킬 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 HNS 물질을 IMDG 코드의 기준에 따라 물질의 특성을 구분하고, 종류별 대응방법을 분석하였다. 그리고 분석된 대응방법을 토대로 물질 유형별 필요/필수 방제자원을 Matrix화하여 제시하였다.

  • In order to improve the microwave dielectric properties of ZnO+$TiO_2$ ceramic systems, we studied the relations among microstructures, phases, and microwave dielectric properties at various mole ratio and sintering temperatures. The optimum composition was found to be 0.2ZnO+0.8$TiO_2$ when sintered at $1100^{\circ}C$, at which we could obtain following results: $Q{\times}f_o$ = 22,500 GHz, ${\varepsilon}_r$ = 73, and $\tau_f=+210ppm/^{\circ}C$.

  • 유선망에 최적화되도록 진화해온 TCP 는 GPRS, CDMA2000-1X 등의 무선망에서는 제 성능을 발휘하지 못한다는 것은 이미 널리 알려진 사실이며, 이를 극복하기 위한 방법들이 상당수 제안되었다. 하지만 제안된 연구들의 대부분은 이미 3G 서비스의 링크 계층에서 상당부분 해결된 무선 링크에서의 손실을 혼잡으로 오해하는 TCP 의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 무선 링크에서의 손실보다는 무선 링크로 인해 야기되는 길고 변화가 심한 전송시간으로 인해 발생하는 TCP 의 문제점을 제시하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션이 아닌 실제 CDMA2000-1X 망에서 단말기를 통해 측정된 자료를 기반으로 문제점을 도출하여 기존에 제안된 연구들과 차별화 한다.

Study on Selective Media for Isolation of Entomopathogenic Fungi

  • To determine the optimal isolation conditions of the entomopathogenic fungi from soil, we compared their growth characteristics with non-entomopathogenic fungi on agar media containing various concentrations of cooper (II) chloride ($CuCl_2$) or dodine. The result showed that dodine medium is more selective, and the optimal concentration of dodine is determined with $50{\mu}g$/ml. We could isolate several putative entomopathogenic fungi from soil using this, and identify them using ITS analysis. As a result, 64% fungi were identified as typical entomopathogenic fungi. This selective medium may be useful to the rapid and simple isolation of entomopathogenic fungi from soil.

  • Mediastinum is the space located between the right & left lung lobes in the center of the thorax, and contains many vital organs such as heart, aorta, trachea, esophagus, vagus nerve, lymphatics. So the infection of mediastinal space causes a serious and potentially fatal process. Like other infections, surgical drainage, aggressive antibiotic therapy and supportive care are recommended for optimal outcome. Airway management in the presence of the neck, glottic edema, elevation of the tongue is a formidible problem especially in the case from odontogenic origin. We have recently encountered such a case resulting in a number of local and systemic complications.

  • Our ancestors had done their best for the moral training and home management, further more for the governing a country through observing the decorums. The 4 main decorums, i. e. the Coming-of-Age Ceremony, Wedding Ceremony, Funeral Rites and the Ancestor worship Ceremony during the Chosun Dynasty had guided well our ancestors'life harmoiously. The Wedding Ceremonies of them was one of the most happy events in their lives meaningful of the filial piety and the union of two families. The Wedding ceremonies consist of the 6 etiquetes, i. e., Eui-Hon (matchmaking), N뮤-Chae (present), Nab-Pye(bride's presents to her parents-in-law), Chung-Gi(ask the other part about an auspicious day), Moon-Myung(choice of an auspicious day), Chin-Young(take and meet a bride) in order of sequence. Chin-Young consists of Cho-Hon, Sa-Dang-Go-Woo, Sung-Bok, Cho-Rye, Boo-Myung-Ji & Mo-Song, Jun-An-Rye, Hab-Geun-Rye, Sin-Bang-Chi-Reu-Gi, Hyun-Goo-Rye, Myo-Hyun and Jae-Haeng ete, considerably complicated programs in order.

  • Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), synthesized in the hypothalamus, plays a pivotal role in the regulation of vertebrate reproduction. Since molecular isoforms of GnRH and their receptors (GnRHR) have been isolated in a broad range of vertebrate species, GnRH and GnRHR provide an excellent model for understanding the molecular co-evolution of a peptide ligand-receptor pair. Vertebrate species possess multiple forms of GnRH, which have been created through evolutionary mechanisms such as gene/chromosome duplication, gene deletion and modification. Similar to GnRHs, GnRH receptors (GnRHR) have also been diversified evolutionarily. Comparative ligand-receptor interaction studies for non-mammalian and mammalian GnRHRs combined with mutational mapping studies of GnRHRs have aided the identification of domains or motifs responsible for ligand binding and receptor activation. Here we discuss the molecular basis of GnRH-GnRHR co-evolution, particularly the structure-function relationship regarding ligand selectivity and signal transduction of mammalian and non-mammalian GnRHRs.

  • Two-step identification approach for effective bridge health monitoring is proposed to alleviate the issues associated with many unknown parameters faced in the real structures and to improve the accuracy in the estimate results. It is suitable for on-line monitoring scheme, since the damage assessment is not always needed to be carried out whereas the alarming for damages is to be continuously monitored. In the first step for screening potential damaged members, damage indicator method based on modal strain energy, probabilistic neural networks and the conventional neural networks using grouping technique are used and then the conventional neural network technique is utilized for damage assessment on the screened members in the second step. The proposed methods are verified through a field test on the northern-most span of old Hannam Grand Bridge.
