Design procedure of corrugated horn antenna for mm-wave frequency range is presented, and hybrid condition in horn is calculated. Balanced hybrid mode should be converted in the horn from TE11 mode by the proper corrugation dimensions which size are available to be fabricated under the mm-wave short wavelength condition. In this paper, corrugate profiles which satisfy both hybrid condition and fabrication possibility are obtained.. By cylindrical mode theory, the electromagnetic fields both inside hem and corrugation are delivered. Propagation characteristics in hem is calculated by the mode impedance matching method with boundary conditions, and radiation fields are obtained by the Kirchhoff-Hyugen principle to the hem aperture fields. A mm-wave corrugated horn operates on 85 - 115GHz is designed and fabricated, and results of measurement are also shown.

The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of Entrance Examinees' Eating Behavior on their health condition. The examinees for Chungbuk National university in 1992 were asked to fill out the questionnaire(The total number was 1054 ; 537 males, 517 females). The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, Crosstabs, Chi-square, t-test, one-way Anova, and Multiple Regression using SPSS/PC+ Program. The results are as follows. 1. Health condition due to an eating attitude: 1) As to health condition due to the food intake freguency, those who intaked fish or meat 3-5 days a week had the best heal th condition, but those who hardly intaked fish and meat or intaked them almost everyday had rather poor health condition. Those who intaked fried foods 1-2 days a week had the best health condition. The higher the freguency intaking such food or instant food was, the worse health condition was. 2) In view of health condition according to an eating attitude, it led to very good health condition to have breakfast & supper, to eat regularly, to select the nutritious foods, and to have a balanced diet. Overeating before sleeping and no meal or overeating before exam made their health very bad. Alcohol drinking & cigarrette smoking as favorite foods appeared significantly high in the boys. The more frequently they drinked alcohol and smoked cigarrette the worse their health condition was. Those who enjoyed milk, soya milk, and korean tea as favorite beverages had the better health condition than those who enjoyed coffee and soft drinks. 2. Influence of Eating Behavior on Health Condition. 1) The food intake freguency and the eating attitude influenced each other. The higher the score of food intake frequency was, the better the eating attitude appeared. 2) As a result of this study for eating behavior influencing on their health condition, the eating attitude influenced health condition, and the higher the eating attitude score was, the better heal th condition could be.

This Grand Sorae Bridge was built in order to lead to balanced reigoonal development by linking the 2nd Seoul - Inchon Highway to WestCiast Highway and it will contribute to develop the economy of the region and traffic of its vicinities by helping ease traffic in and around Inchon. It extends 470 meter across Sorae port by using 10 continuous steel box griders under benoto(all casing) system considering ultra soft ground condition of the site.

In this paper we consider TU-cooperative games in the form of characteristic function. We notice that if one uses the necessary and sufficient condition for the core to be not empty in a dual form, it may be used for selecting the final outcome in the core. Using the linear programming approach for constructing the subcore, which is a subset of the core, we represent it in a simple form. We consider reduced games due to Davis-Mashler, Moulin and Funaki and formulate the sufficient conditions for the subcore to be S-consistent.

The characteristics of the corrugated conical horn antenna for the satellite communication earth station operating at C band is analyzed and its radiation patterns is measured. We obtain the characterstic equations for corrugated horn in the condition that the balanced hybrid mode is formed on born aperture and calculate radiation patterns in the Fresnel region from the aperture integral expressions obtained by the equivalence principle. The radiation patterns which are calculated for the frequency of 3.85GHz and 6.18GHz are well agreed with the measured data.

The concept of Balanced Factorial Experiment (BFE) was introduced by Shah (1958). The conditions for BFE were set up by Kurkjian and Zelen (1963) and Kshirsagar (1966). Generalized Cyclic Factorial Experiment (GCFE), which is more wide class of designs than BFE, do not satisfy the condition of BFE. So all contrasts belonging to the same interaction are not estimated with equal variance. The main purpose of this paper is to show that GCFE have orthogonal factorial structure and the scheme of the size of variances for all normalized contrasts in GCFE is similar to the original intra-block association scheme.

This paper presents the interesting properties of a certain patterned matrix that plays an significant role in the multi-way balanced designs. The necessary and sufficient condition on the existence of the inverse of the patterned matrix and its determinant are described. In special cases of the pattermed matrix, explicit formulas for its inverse, determinant and the characteristic equation are obtained.

In this paper, a new detection algorithm of faulted voltages under the unbalanced condition and a control algorithm of the instantaneous voltage sag corrector (IVSC) are proposed. To quantify the unbalance under fault conditions, the voltages are decomposed into two balanced three-phase systems using the symmetrical components of positive and negative sequence voltages, which is defined by magnitude factor (MF) and unbalance factor (UF). New control algorithm based on MF and UF values for instantaneous voltage compensation are proposed and verified through the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation and experimental results.

People usually try to take in nutrition component which is necessary for physical growth, developing and maintaining the health through usually balanced dietary life. However in looking over the results of recent national nutrition survey, even if the nation’s average taking in nutrition condition is fairly good, considering the individual cases there has happened a problem about the balance of taking in nutrition due to the wrong dietary life. This study was designed to observe the nutritional knowledge, dietary life, and health condition in the middle school students. The subjects of this study were sampled out from co-ed middle schools in Seoul. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The subjects take breakfast everyday by 50.4%, and their lunch depends very largely upon a lunch box by 95.2%. They take supper every evening by 79.0%. 2. The nutritional knowledge of subjects exhibits a significant difference by sex and region 3. The physical health condition of students exhibits a significant difference by sex and grade. 4. The mental health condition of students also exhibits a significant difference by sex, grade, and region. The school is required to endeavour for the student to have a correct understanding of nutritional knowledge form good dietary life. The government also should exert incessant efforts for school meal supply for their balanced nutrition.
