The purpose of this study was to survey a perception of frequency & importance level of job performance, from 249 paramedics who were working at fire station. The job related activities of 4 duties, 18 tasks and 145 task elements were checked by 4 rating scale. The data were analyzed using a SPSS program for descriptive statistics. The results of the study were as follows ; 1. Some of the most frequent tasks were medical tx, managing people & organization, trauma care, pt assessment, general coping skill 2. Some of the most frequent task elements were preparation of written reports, operation of pt lifting supplies, transportation of patients on stretchers, administration of cervical collar and utilization of scoop stretcher. 3. Some of the highest level of importance in task were resuscitation of circulation, surgical tx, safety & infection control, environmental emergency care, trauma care. 4. Some of the highest level of importance in task elements were administration of cervical collar, adult CPR, infant CPR, child CPR, and AED. 5. The highest level of task elements in perception of frequency & importance were administration of cervical collar, infection control after pt care, utilization of long back board, disinfection of ambulance after ride a long, care of chest pain pt, care of unconscious pt, tx of asthma. 6. A difference between frequent & importance score were due to lack of supplies(41%), structural problems(30%) and medical control system(16%), lack of skills(10%), Suggestion; 1. This paper would be more reliable and confirm through wilder range of survey. 2. It would be necessary of more depth survey through dacom study from paramedic. 3. Development of field oriented protocol & curriculum that based on task elements which have high score of both frequency & importance level is required.
This study is designed to understand current wearing conditions of air force mechanic parkas and evaluate their functionality by examining the wearing conditions and wearers' subjective assessment. By doing so, it also intends to identify issues that require improvements; and to provide basic data for future development of air force mechanic parkas. A survey was conducted as a study methodology, and the collected 1,628 questionnaires were analyzed. Findings of this study are as follows. 1. In the usability assessment, it was found that visibility of body sides was needed to be enhanced since reflective tapes were attached only to the front and back of the body; pockets were too big, but not convenient to keep mechanic tools; the design of hiding hood was not suitable for water-proof clothing; and a new design of size-controllable hood was called for since the hood blocked eye sight. With respect to the fabric, dissatisfaction was identified with durability, cold-proof and fire-proof features. 2. In the mobility assessment, respondents showed low satisfaction with collar heights and neck girths. Mobility score was over moderate level on average, except the parka length that obstructs wearers' movement, and neck and collar size. 3. In the wearability assessment, respondents presented moderate satisfaction with pleasantness, weight, pressure and dampness. However, insulation was found unsatisfactory. Based on the result, this study proposed improvement plans on design, pattern and fabric; and is expected to serve as basic data for developing more effective and functional air force mechanic parkas.

The purpose of this study was to examine how the term Yin-Yang and Sasang categorized in the book "Huangdineijing". In order to investigate how the terms are used, we reviewed the text including the terms expressed in the manner of [(Yin/Yang) within (Yin/Yang)] and [Sasang]. We found three forms of expressions; [(Yin/Yang) within (Yin/Yang)], [Sasang], [(Sasang) within (Yin/Yang)]. Two paragraphs of [(Yin/Yang) within (Yin/Yang)] was found in one chapter, two paragraphs of [(Sasang)] was found in two chapters, and three paragraphs of [(Sasang) within (Yin/Yang)] was found in three chapters. We found five types of relation between [(Yin/Yang) within (Yin/Yang)], [Sasang], and five phases in "Huangdi neijing" as follows; (1) Yang within Yin, lesser Yang, and wood (2) Yang within Yang, greater Yang, and fire (3) ( ), ( ), and extreme Yin (4) Yin within Yang, lesser Yin, and metal, and (5) Yin within Yin, greater Yin, and water. And, as for the [(Yin/Yang) within (Yin/Yang)] and [(Sasang) within (Yin/Yang)], the classification criteria for Yin-Yang were brightness, abdomen/back or lumbar. The order of Sasang with the description form of [Sasang] or [(Sasang) within (Yin/Yang)] in "Siqi Tiaoshen Dalun" and "Liu Jie ZangXiang Theory" was lesser Yang, greater Yang, greater Yin, and lesser Yin, which is based on the meridian system or a plant-shaped change order. We discussed the results and its implication for the analysis of medical classics with the consideration of previous studies on Yin-Yang theories in "Huangdi neijing".
This study on the conception of Pyo Bon expressed in Hwang Jae Nai Kyung was summarized as follows: 1. The conception of Pyo Bon in the Yi Jung Byun Gi Lon(移精變氣論) and Tang Eak Yo Le Lon(湯液료醴論) of So Moon(素問) is that Pyo means the doctor and Bon means the disease. The Pyo Bon of this chapter has a meaning of time, namely first and last. 2. The conception of Pyo Bon in the Soo Yul Hyul Lon(水熱穴論) of So Moon is that Pyo means the lung and Bon means the kidney. The Pyo Bon of this chapter has a meaning of space, namely the upper and lower sides. 3. The Pyo Bon of this chapter has a meaning of time, namely first and last. 4. The conception of Pyo Bon in the Chun Won Gi Dae Lon(天元紀大論), Yug Mi Ji Dae Lon(六微旨大論) and Ji Jin Yo Dae Lon(至眞要大論) of So Moon is that Pyo means a Yug Gi(六氣), namely wind, cold, heat, dampness, dryness, fire and Bon means a Sam Eum Sam Yang(三陰三陽), The Pyo Bon of this chapter includes a meaning of time and space. 5. The conception of Pyo Bon in the Sa Jun(師傳) of Yung Chu(靈樞) is that Pyo means a inside of the body and Bon means a outside of the body. The Pyo Bon of this chapter a meaning of space, namely the inside and outside. 6. The conception of Pyo Bon in the Wi Gi(衛氣) of Yung Chu is that Pyo means the end of limbs and Bon means the part of head, face, chest, abdomen, back. The Pyo Bon of this chapter has a meaning of space, namely center and circumference.
Health and disease related characteristics of 226 selected by systematic sampling from 452 personal emergency response system(PERS) beneficiaries and actual conditions of using PERS by them are as follows. Over 86% of PERS beneficiaries have not good health conditions and 70.7% of them have chronic diseases. On social supports family was highest as 52.2% and cases having social workers' assistance were 15.2%, but 53 as 23.7% had not visit or call from anyone and showed very low social supports. 86.2% was given PERS within 3years and 79.1% had it by the recommendation from related agencies and 4.0% was by their demand. On wearing it, 78.3% didn't bring it with them and 92% of them answered they were not sick and then it was found that they didn't use it because they had not special emergency. On satisfaction with paging system's operation, 81.3% answered they were satisfied with it, 48.8% used it for 'acute and emergency diseases' and 29.3% called ambulance for 'appointed medical treatment'. Time required for ambulance to arrive at the field was within 10 min. in 87.8% and after 10 min. in 12.2% and emergency service for beneficiaries by fire service was very good. On satisfaction with use of PERS, 85.4% were satisfied with it, 81.9% who requested repair or replacement of radio paging got it back after one or two days of their request and they answered they were satisfied with A/S. 45.5% answered they powered off it because 'they didn't use it' and 12.1% had 'economical reason of phone charge'.

Sound insulation performance of a unit cabin mock-up is studied, where two identical rooms simulating cruise ship cabin are installed. STL (Sound Transmission Loss) measurement in the mock-up shows that STL of the partition between rooms is degraded by imperfect door ceiling and gap between wall and floor. It is also observed that gap around lighting and electrical outlet slightly affect the STL in high frequency ranges, since lighting and electrical outlet are supported by mineral wool in the back side due to fire-resistance requirement. Even after all possible gaps are sealed, STL of the partition is found to be lower than that measured in the laboratory by 9 dB. Measurement of SBN (Structure-Borne Noise) reveals that flanking transmission of SBN along the steel deck floor can severely deteriorate STL of the partition. Statistical energy analysis (SEA) of the mock-up confirms importance of the floor SBN control, in which increasing damping is essential to ensure high STL.
JC Raulston Arboretum of the North Carolina State University houses 113 species of Korean native landscape woody plants. Styrax japonicus 'Emerald Pagoda'[formerly 'Sohuksan'] is native to Korea, China, and Japan. 'Emerald pagoda' is a special cultivar found by DR. J.C. Raulston during the United States National Arboretum plant collection expedition of the island of Sohuksan at the Western end of the Korea in 1985. Incredible, thick, glossy, large-leafed form of this beautiful white flowering tree found in Korea in 1985. It was probably the most outstanding ornamental plant to come from the expedition after his trip to Sohuksan and Chindo in the harsh perilous islands of the coast of Korea. He brought this one back in his suitcase. Viburnum awabuki 'Chindo' is and evergreen broadleaf shrub. It is for screening and as fire resistant trees in the southern region of Korea, because of its compact, leathery leaves. 'Chindo' was discovered on the island of Chindo by the U.S. National arboretum plant exploration team including J.C. Raulston during its 1985 Korean trip. Cuttings were taken from this plant, and liners were produced over subsequent years. These liners are now being evaluated for hardiness and fruit production throughout the Southeast of USA.
Purpose: In the event of a fire in a high-rise building, if the smoke control area is not effectively protected, smoke or flames enter the stairwell, making it difficult to evacuate. When inflowing air is discharged from a closed corridor, a negative pressure is formed in the corridor, the pressure in the smoke control area becomes excessively high, and the force required to open the door during evacuation is exceeded. Also, if the air introduced into the hallway is not exhausted, the smoke may flow back into the smoke control area. This paper tried to identify the problems caused by the inflowing air and to find out how to improve the performance. Method: Using the CONTAM program, simulations were performed with the basic conditions and the modified conditions. Result: If the inflowing air was discharged from the sealed corridor, overpressure occurred in the Smoke Control Area and exceeded the opening force, and the prevent smoke backflow was insufficient in the layer where the inflowing air was not discharged. Conclusion: "Differential pressure exhaust damper" application, simultaneous opening of two exhaust dampers, and automatic window installation between corridors and outdoors improved the exhaust performance of inflowing air.

The meaning of Database in order to manage the data which is huge in the meeting of the record which logically had become the fire tube or file 'efficiently' is widely used from the place which controls a many double meaning data. Like this data base it creates, it manages, the programs which send an answer back according to demand of the user as DBMS it calls. Like this it will be able to grasp the quality level of the data base software product which is important index from the research which index it buys it defined. Also, in order to produce the result of index it selects the collection item which is necessary and collection and analysis it leads and what kind of defect types occur substantially mainly, and it confirmed and the test and evaluation model in about data base software and a tentative instance it developed it analyzed.
