  • TSP(Traveling Salesman Problem) is a problem finding out the shortest distance out of many courses where given cities of the number of N, one starts a certain city and turns back to a starting city, visiting every city only once. As the number of cities having visited increases, the calculation rate increases geometrically. This problem makes TSP classified in NP-Hard Problem and genetic algorithm is used representatively. To obtain a better result in TSP, various operators have been developed and studied. This paper suggests new method of population initialization and of sequential transformation, and then proves the improvement of capability by comparing them with existing methods.

  • Recent years in Korea, some new developed buildings are only using electricity as power for heating, cooling, bathing and even cooking which means except electricity, there is no natural gas or other kinds of energy used in such kind of building. In vehicle industry area, scientists already invented electric vehicle as an environment friendly vehicle; after that, in architecture design and construction field, buildings only using electricity appeared; the curiosity of the environment impact of energy consumption by such kind of building lead me to do this research. In general, electricity is known as a clean energy resource reasoned by it is noncombustible energy resource; however, although there is no environmental pollution by using electricity, electricity generation procedure in power plant may cause huge amount of environment pollution; especially, electricity generation from combusting coal in power plant could emit enormous air pollutants to the air. In this research, the yearly amount of air pollution by energy using under traditional way in research target building that is using natural gas for heating, bathing and cooking and electricity for lighting, equipment and cooling is compared with yearly amount of air pollution by only using electricity as power in the building; result shows that building that only uses electricity emits much more air pollutants than uses electricity and natural gas together in the building. According to the amount of air pollutants comparison result between two different energy application types in the building, residential SOFC (Solid oxide fuel cell) is simulated to apply in this building for decreasing environment pollution of the building; furthermore, high load factor could lead high efficiency of SOFC, in the scenario of simulating applying SOFC in the building, SOFC is shared by two or three households in spring and autumn to increase efficiency of the SOFC. In sum, this research is trying to demonstrate electricity is a conditioned environment friendly energy resource; in the meanwhile, SOFC is simulated efficiently applying in the building only using electricity as power to decrease the large amount of air pollutants by energy using in the building. Energy consumption of the building is analyzed by calibrated commercial software Design Builder; the calibrated mathematical model of SOFC is referred from other researcher's study.

  • Field-in-Field Technique is applied to the radiation therapy of breast cancer patients, and it is possible to compensate the difference in breast thickness and deliver uniform dose in the breast. However, there are several fields in the treatment field that result in a more complex dose delivery than a single field dose delivery. If the patient's respiration is irregular during the delivery of the dose by several fields and the change of respiration occurs, the dose distribution in the breast changes. Therefore, based on the computed tomography images of breast cancer patients, a human model was created by using a 3D printer (Builder Extreme 1000) to describe the volume in the same manner. A computerized tomography (CT) of the human body model was performed and a treatment plan of 260 cGy / fx was established using a 6-MV field-in-field technique using a computerized treatment planning system (Eclipse 13.6, Varian, USA). The distribution of the dose in the breast according to the change of the respiration was measured using a moving phantom at 0.1 cm, 0.3 cm, 0.5 cm amplitude, using a MOSOXIDE Silicon Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET, Best Medical, Canada) Were measured and compared. The distribution of dose in the breast according to the change of respiration showed similar value within ${\pm}2%$ in the movement up to 0.3 cm compared to the treatment plan. In this experiment, we found that the dose distribution in the breast due to the change of respiration when the change of respiration was increased was not much different from the treatment plan.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of bite registration using intraoral scanner based on data trimming strategy for fremitus teeth. Materials and Methods: A reference model was designed by Medit Model Builder software (MEDIT Corp., Seoul). Tooth number 24 and 25 were separated as dies and tooth number 26 was prepared for full-coverage crown. Those were printed using a 3D printer (NextDent 5100). The scanning procedure was performed by a single trained operator with one intraoral scanner (i700; MEDIT Corp.). The scanning groups were divided as follows: group 1 (G1), no fremitus; group 2 (G2), 0.5 mm buccal fremitus in the maxillary left first and second premolar; and group 3 (G3), 1.5 mm buccal fremitus in the maxillary left first and second premolar. Each group was scanned 10 times and were analyzed using the reference model data. Surface-based occlusal clearance was analyzed at the prepared tooth to evaluate accuracy. Result: Mean values of control group (G1) were 1.587±0.021 mm. G2 showed similar values to those from the control group (1.580±0.024 mm before trimming strategy and 1.588±0.052 mm after trimming strategy). G3 showed significantly greater values (1.627±0.025 mm before trimming strategy and 1.590±0.024 mm after trimming strategy) and the differences were found between trimming strategy (P=0.004). Conclusion: Bite trimming strategy for fremitus teeth is a reliable technique to reduce inaccuracies caused by the mobility at maximum intercuspation.

  • It is a difficult task to estimate parameters in even a simple stock assessment model such as a surplus production model, using only data about temporal catch-per-unit-effort (CPUE) (or survey index) and fishery yields. Such difficulty is exacerbated when time-varying parameters are treated as random effects (aka state variables). To overcome the difficulty, previous studies incorporated somewhat subjective assumptions (e.g., B1=K) or informative priors of parameters. A key is how to build an objective joint prior of parameters, reducing subjectivity. Given the limited data on temporal CPUEs and fishery yields from 1999-2020 for common squid Todarodes pacificus, we built a joint prior of only two parameters, intrinsic growth rate (r) and carrying capacity (K), based on the resilience level of the population (Froese et al., 2017), and used a Bayesian state-space production assessment model. We used template model builder (TMB), a R package for implementing the assessment model, and estimating all parameters in the model. The predicted annual biomass was in the range of 0.76×106 to 4.06×106 MT, the estimated MSY was 0.13×106 MT, the estimated r was 0.24, and the estimated K was 2.10×106 MT.

  • This study explored the process by which consumers purchase products from small fashion business owners via online and mobile channels. In addition, group types were classified given that the purchasing process depends on the consumers' life cycle. The consumer focus group interview (FGI) was conducted on 18 participants that were divided into six groups by age, work, and children. Results revealed that first, consumer journey comprised four stages. Factors influencing need recognition were "attention to information of social media influencer," "attention to information of affiliated groups," and "repeated advertising of SME products/brands." For information searching, "exploring purchase reviews," "environment for mobile shopping information exploration," and "continuous product tracking" were important factors. Purchasing and shopping stages were affected by "price-free, improvised purchase decision" and "convenient mobile payment system and point benefits." After the purchase, "active sharing and repeated purchase when satisfied" and "blocking relationships when dissatisfied" occurred. Second, six consumer groups based on the fashion life cycle are the "Platform lover," "Influencer follower," "Trust builder," "Novelty seeker," "Convenience seeker," and "New designer supporter." Ultimately, small business owners can develop the process of planning and selling fashion products more efficiently.

  • The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea is showing a lot of interest in net zero-energy buildings (NZEBs) to reduce energy consumption of military facilities and to promote green growth policy in military sector. The application of building passive technologies and renewable energies is essential to achieving NZEBs. This paper analyzed energy performance and energy cost on the conventional heating and cooling system (baseline scenario) and three different alternative scenarios (ALT 1, ALT 2 and ALT 3) applied in a hypothetical military building. A building modeling and simulation software (DesignBuilder V6.1) with EnergyPlus calculation engine was used to calculate the energy consumption for each scenario. Overall, when the GSHPs are applied to both space airconditioning and domestic hot water (DHW) production, Alt-2 and Alt-3, the amount of energy consumption for target building can be greatly reduced. In addition, when the building envelope performance is increased like Alt-3, the energy consumption can be further reduced. The annual energy cost analysis showed that the baseline was approximately 161 million KRW, while Alt-3 was approximately 33 million KRW. Therefore, it was analyzed that the initial construction cost increase could be recovered within about 6.7 years for ALT 3. The results of this study can help decision-makers to determine the optimal strategy for implementing GSHP systems in military buildings through energy performance and initial construction cost assessment.

  • The recent global energy supply crisis has led to increased uncertainty in international energy markets. These market changes lead to a rise in global energy prices and development is expanding to the extreme cold regions (Arctic Circle) where undeveloped energy resources are abundantly stored. Arctic Circle has a special business environment such as natural environment, laws, institutions and culture, research on location evaluation of development areas is necessary in advance. In this study, the spatial information of Alberta, Canada, where non-traditional energy resource development activities have recently been active, was collected and analyzed. In addition, an optimal location evaluation model for resource development was developed using construction environment spatial information data and the reliability is verified by comparing and analyzing the existing resource development areas.

  • If a brief direction and plan for a remodeling project are decided, it may moves to a concrete design step of which to select the most suitable alternative out of applicable compounding devices to reveal dynamic drifting performance. However, the volume of knowledge baseed utility which can refer to systematic evaluation regarding remodeling element technology and the accumulation of realistic cases are not only sufficient, but also short including its system for expression and consistency. Therefore, it may necessary to deliver the main frame which make enables the Owner, designer and builder to get performance technology for applying advanced remodeling element and knowledge based utility. There is a necessity to provide an information with latest made by virtue of modeling in the 3D/4D based on construction-based knowledge etc. which we can use for life cycle of a project, as a prominent way of knowledge based utility. Then, it is sure that remodeling can become more activative by sharing of knowledge based utility formed in electronic 3D/4D which is a systematic and expressed consistently to a performance and applicability in preservation of savings. It is expected for modeling of the 3D/4D in knowledge based utility enables to verify the practicability of each technology on effective application, and the use of technology might be spread widely due its obvious and oriented expressions. Further, this knowledge based utility formed in electronic 3D/4D may applicable for VE process in addition to remodeling design fields.
