S-BRT 운행행태를 고려한 저상버스의 정차시간 예측모형 (A Estimation of Dwell Time of Low-floor Buses considering S-BRT Operation Behavior)

  • This basic study introduces the concept of S-BRT and develops dwell time estimation models that consider road geometry and S-BRT characteristics for a signal operation strategy to meet the S-BRT's operational goal of high speed and punctuality. Field surveys of low-floor buses similar in shape to S-BRTs and data collection of passengers, station elements, vehicle elements, and other factors that can affect stop times were used in a regression analysis to establish statistically significant dwell time estimation models. These dwell time estimation models are developed by categorizing according to the locations of the signal or sidewalk that have the most impact on the dwell time. In this way, the number of people boarding and alighting the bus at the crowded door and the number of people boarding and alighting the bus at the front door considering the internal congestion was analyzed to affect the dwell time. The estimation dwell time models in this study can be used in the establishment of strategies that provide priority signals to S-BRTs.

자율주행자동차 혼입률에 따른 BRT 구간 교통류 특성 분석 (Characteristics Analysis of Traffic Flow in BRT section according to Market Penetration Rates of Autonomous Vehicles)

  • 본 연구에서는 실제 BRT를 운행 중인 도로 구간을 대상으로 자율주행자동차(AV)의 혼입률에 따른 교통류 특성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 나아가 미래 교통수요의 추정을 통해 최대 교통량 수준을 설정하였으며, BRT 도입 여부와 자율주행자동차 혼입률의 조합으로 구성된 시나리오별로 교통 시뮬레이션을 통해 교통류 특성 분석을 실시하였다. 통계적 유의성을 검정하기 위해 Kruskal-Wallis test와 Jonckheere-Terpstra test를 통해, 자율주행자동차 혼입률이 통행시간과 지체시간에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았으며, 동시에 혼입률에 따른 통행시간 데이터의 서열관계가 존재하는 지를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 단속류와 연속류 환경에서 모두 AV 혼입률이 증가할수록 구간 통행시간이 유의미하게 감소함을 밝혔으며, 특히 연속류의 경우에 혼입률의 증가에 따라 통행속도의 증가와 통행시간의 감소 효과에서 수확 체증의 법칙(law of increasing returns)이 성립함을 확인하였다. 향후 본 연구의 결과를 기반으로 자율주행자동차 시대에서 도로의 재구조화 방안 및 공간 활용에 대한 추가적 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • 전 국토가 골고루 발전할 수 있는 세종시가 조기에 정착할 수 있는 방법 중 교통 인프라 구축이 가장 선행되어야 한다. 여러 가지 교통수단이 있지만, 본 연구에서는 BRT(Bus Rapid Transit)와 철도를 중심으로 연구하였다. 건설비가 지하철보다 10분의 1에 불과하지만, 지하철의 시스템을 갖추어 수송능력을 크게 높이는 신개념 대중교통수단 BRT, 기존선을 활용하여 건설하는 충청권 광역철도가 있다. 또한, 대전지하철 1호선을 정부세종청사까지 연장 운행하여 중앙행정기관 이전과 세종시 인구유입에 따른 교통수요의 급격한 증가에 대비하여 교통편익을 제공하고 세종시에 새로운 교통수단이 추가로 건설하여 인근 지역과 상생 발전을 기대할 수 있다.

운전 과제 동안 노인의 브레이크 반응시간의 특성 (Characteristics of Brake Response Time During the Driving Performance in the Elderly)

  • Purpose: This study compared the characteristics of the brake response time during the driving task between elderly and younger drivers. Methods: The participants consisted of an elderly group (n=12) and a younger group (n=12). The brake response time (BRT), which consisted of the reaction time (RT) and movement time (MT), was assessed in an actual driving car. The BRT was measured at the initiation and termination of the brake response for the driving task Results: The elderly group showed a significantly longer delay in the initiation and termination of the brake response than the younger group. The BRT correlated significantly with both the RT and MT. However, the RT showed a more significant correlation. Conclusion: A delay in the initiation and termination of the brake response may have clinical implications. A further study will be needed to determine the different factors contributing to the driving performance of elderly drivers.

운전 숙련도 분석을 위한 BRT 시스템에 대한 연구 (A Study of BRT System to Analyze Driving Skill)

  • 현대 사회에서 자동차는 가장 중요한 이동수단으로써 사용되고 있다. 그로 인해 교통사고 또한 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 교통사고의 가장 큰 요소는 운전자이다. 그렇기 때문에 운전자에 대한 연구는 반응속도, 심리상태, 생체 선호, 연령, 주행패턴 등으로 다양하게 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 운전자의 숙련도에 따른 장애물 인식 반응속도를 측정하기 위한 임베디드 시스템을 설계하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 시스템은 브레이크 측정 모듈과 OBD-2 스캐너, 블루투스 전송 모듈로 구성되어있다. 또한, 측정된 데이터를 저장하고 분석하기 위해 GUI 프로그램과 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 제안된 시스템을 통해 운전자의 반응 속도를 측정한 결과, 운전 숙련도를 판단할 수 있었다.

Relationship between Functional Fitness and Break Response in Elderly Drivers: Comparison with Young Driver

  • Purpose: This study compared the functional fitness and brake response of elderly and young drivers to confirm the correlation between the functional fitness and brake response. Methods: This study was a cross sectional observational design. Older drivers (>65age, n=21) and young adult drivers (20-40aged, n=20) were enrolled as subjects. The functional fitness of the subjects was measured using a senior fitness test consisting of a back scratch (BS), chair sit and reach (CSR), arm curl (AC), chair stand up (CSU), foot up and go (8-FUG), and 2-minute step (2-MS). The brake response used the virtual driving simulator to measure the brake reaction time (BRT) and braking distance (BD) according to the pedestrian protection and traffic signal compliance. Results: The older drivers had a lower BS (p<0.000), CSU (p=0.040), and 8-FUG (p=0.011) than the young adult drivers. BS and 8-FUG showed a significant positive correlation with the BRT and BD of pedestrian protection and traffic signal compliance. CSU showed a significant negative correlation with the BRT of pedestrian protection and traffic signal compliance. Conclusion: These findings suggest that the flexibility of the upper extremity, lower extremity strength, and agility are strongly correlated with the driving performance of elderly drivers.

현미를 첨가한 타락죽에 관한 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Tarakjuk (Milk Porridge) Prepared with Brown Rice)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of various types of functional brown rice milk porridge, which has been popular as a fast yet nutritional food, to promote rice consumption and to examine the best ratio and recipe. Each sample contained 10, 20, 30, and 40% brown rice compared to non-glutinous rice and sweet rice and were applied to mechanical and sensory tests. The moisture content of both non-glutinous rice and sweet rice porridges increased with increasing brown rice content. The viscosity of non-glutinous rice milk porridge decreased as with increasing brown rice content, whereas the viscosity of sweet rice milk porridge increased with increasing brown rice content. The pH was highest for BRT0 at 6.74 and lowest for BGT0, which is sweet rice porridge with brown rice, at 6.27. The sweetness decreased significantly for both sweet rice and non-glutinous rice porridges with the increase in brown rice content. The brightness of weet rice and non-glutinous rice porridges with brown rice increased significantly (p<0.001) with the increase in brown rice content, while the redness and yellowness of the color increased significantly (p<0.001) with increasing in brown rice content. As a result of analyzing the preference in the milk porridge containing brown rice, BRT30, which is non-glutinous rice milk porridge with brown rice, was most preferred at 5.8 in terms of color, while BRT30 was most preferred at 6.2 in terms of fragrance. All samples containing brown rice powder were highly preferred in terms of taste and the overall preference of sweet rice milk porridge was highest for BRT30 (5.8). The overall preference was highest for BGT30 at 6.1 and the preference was generally higher for the experiment groups prepared with sweet rice as opposed to those prepared with non-glutinous rice. Also, the scores for the sensory test were higher when brown rice was added. Therefore, it was concluded that the milk porridge could quickly and easily be prepared with brown rice instead of non-glutinous rice or sweet rice.
