4 스위치를 이용한 구형파 역기전력을 갖는 BLDC구동에 관한 연구 (A BLDCM Drive with Trapezoidal Back EMF using 4 Switch Three-Phase Inverter)

  • The BLDCM(Brushless DC motor) has been the Trapezoidal Back Electromotive Force(EMF) due to a surface magnet rotor with nonlinear distribution and full-pitch windings. Theoretically, it should be fed with rectangular phase current in order to minimize torque ripple. But, because voltage source inverter drives BLDCM, perfectly rectangular phase currents are not available. Now in this paper, using fourier series coefficients, calculating the coefficients of harmonic current within available orders and each harmonic component are controlled on stationary frame. Only using four switches, low cost and small size drive can be made and proposed method will be more useful in industrial. Simulation and experimental results prove the validity of the proposed method.

  • The brushless DC motor(BLDCM) is widely used in many applications. One of the application of the BLDCM is the stage which is one of process in the semiconductor manufacturing processes. Very high performance is required in the stage process. In this paper, the 1 degree of freedom positioning system for the basic technology of the stage is studied. The linearization method is proposed to make the controller design procedures easy by measuring the thrust force ripple using the strain gauge. And through the experiments, it is proved that the inner velocity control loop is necessary to make more precise positioning control system.

  • The BLDCM (Brushless DC Motor) characterized by linear torque to current, and speed to voltage has low acoustic noise, and fast dynamic response. Moreover, it has high power density with high proportion of torque to inertia in spite of small size drive. But, it produce torque ripple due to the motor inductance components in stator windings and back-EMF, when armature current is commutated. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the BLDCM to a precision servo drive system. In this paper is proposed to a new current control algorithm with using fourier series coefficients can minimize torque ripple due to the phase current commutation of BLDCM. Simulation and Experimental results prove the effectiveness the proposed algorithm through comparison with the conventional used unipolar PWM method.

  • This Paper presents a solution to control the Brushless DC Motor(BLDCM) in Digital Lightening Processor(DLP) using the Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR). Generally, The speed of BLDCM in DLP is controlled by the lead angle control or the input voltage control using PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation) etc. These control methods have speed overshoot in speed control and need the long time until BLDCM reaches at the steady state. In order to improve the performance, this paper present the PI speed controller using the LQR based on vector control and the rotor position detection methods at the space vector PWM inverter. The proposed methods are proved by the experimental results

  • The paper presents a cost effective and increased performance position servo system using the TMS320F240 digital signal processor (DSP) produced by Texas Instruments as microprocessor and Brushless Direct Current Motor (BLDCM) as executor. In order to make up for the drawback of conventional PID controls, the fuzzy PID is employed. The result of simulations and experiments has confirmed that the whole system is simple and reliable; the robustness of system is improved by using fuzzy PID.

  • This paper is to study a modified hysteresis band current control technique for keeping the fixed switching frequency. The control technique is applied to an brushless DC motor(BLDCM). This paper gives an analysis of the modified hysteresis band with isolated neutral case and the PI controller with current limiter in forward loop; their characteristics are studied by simulation. The proposed control technique is implemented by using a microprocessor-based system.

  • 본 논문은 선박 추진 장치를 위한 저속 영역에서 최대 토크를 내는 대용량 BLDCM(Brushless DC motor)의 설계에 관한 연구이다. 기존의 추진 장치용 모터는 직류기 및 권선형 유도 전동기 등을 사용함으로 인하여 유지 보수가 필요하였다. 본 논문에서는 유지 보수가 필요 없고 저속에서 큰 토크를 발생 할 수 있는 BLDCM 설계를 하였다. 설계시 출력 리플 및 진동, 소음을 유발하는 코깅 토크 저감을 고려하기 위해 설계변수로 공극길이와 자극 각 등을 취하여 이의 변화에 대한 최저 코깅 토크를 가지는 최적형상을 구하고, 전동기 특성을 FEM과 Maxwell stress tensor법을 이용하여 해석하였다. 최저의 코깅 토크를 가지며 저속영역에서 최대 토크를 발생 할 수 있는 선박 추진 장치용 SPM type의 BLDCM을 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 동력의지를 위한 브러쉬리스 DC 모터 구동 시스템과 DC 링크단의 전류를 이용하여 상전류를 추정하는 기법을 제안한다. 토크제어를 위해서는 전류 측정이 매우 중요하며 전류 측정 시 스위칭 노이즈를 최소화하기 위해 전류 센싱 시점은 스위칭 전압 명령에 동기화 되어야 한다. 저가의 시스템, 공간의 절약 그리고 제어의 단순화하기 위해 DC 링크단 전류를 사용한 제어를 실시하였다. 또한 환류 다이오드를 통해 흐르는 전류에서 발생하는 DC 링크단 전류와 상전류간의 오차를 줄이기 위해 Analog MUX를 이용한 상전류 추정방법을 사용하였다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안한 시스템의 유효성을 검증하였다.

역기전력 추정법을 이용한 브러시리스 직류 전동기의 홀센서 상전류 전환시점 보상 방법 (Position Correction Method for Misaligned Hall-Effect Sensor of BLDC Motor using BACK-EMF Estimation)

  • This paper proposes a new position compensation method for misaligned Hall-effect sensors of BLDCM(Brushless DC Motor). If the Hall-effect sensors are installed at wrong position, the exact rotor position cannot be obtained. Therefore, when the BLDCM is controlled with this wrong position, the torque ripple can be increased and the average torque also decreases. The back-EMF of BLDCM can be obtained by using the voltage equation and by multiplying the back-EMF constant and rotor speed. At a constant speed, the estimated back-EMF by using the multiplication of the back-EMF constant and rotor speed is constant, but the estimated back-EMF from the voltage equation decreases at the commutation point because the line-to-line back-EMF of two conducting phases is start to decrease at this point. Therefore, by using the difference between these two estimated back-EMFs, the commutation point of the phase current can be determined and position compensation can be carried out. The proposed position correction method doesn't require additional hardware circuit and can be easily implemented. The validity of the proposed position compensation method is verified through several experiments.
