What is the term "intelligence information society", which is a term that has been continuously discussed recently? This means that the automation beyond the limits of human ability in the whole societies based on intelligent information technology is a universalized social future. In particular, it is a concept that minimizes human intervention and continuously pursues evolution to data (or big data) -based automation. For example, autonomous automation is constantly aiming at unmanned vehicles with artificial intelligence as a key element. However, until now, intelligent information research has focused on the intelligence itself and has made an effort to improve intelligence logic and replace human brain and intelligence. On the other hand, in order to replace the human labor force, we have continued to make efforts to replace workers with robots by analyzing the working principles of workers and developing optimized simple logic. This study proposes important strategies and directions to implement intelligent information education policy and intelligent information technology research strategy by suggesting access strategy, education method and detailed policy road map for intelligent information technology research strategy and educational service. In particular, we propose a phased approach to intelligent information education such as basic intelligence education, intelligent content education, and intelligent application education. In addition, we propose education policy plan for the improvement of intelligent information technology, intelligent education contents, and intelligent education system as an important factor for success and failure of the 4th industrial revolution, which is centered on intelligence and automation.
Purpose - This article aims to explore the characteristics of disaster risk distribution information in China. Also, this research attempts to analyze the findings of risk communication using case study in chronological order in terms of social amplification of risk. To achieve the purpose, the paper reviews the trends and issues of risk communication in China, with an emphasis on examining earthquakes by a chronological approach. In these regards, we hope that some relevant findings from this empirical study with cases will be able to enhance national risk communication and provide implications in Korea as well. Research design, data, and methodology - The conceptual framework of this study is theoretically based on the risk amplification model, which describes signals about risk transmitted and processed by individuals and social groups. The social amplification of risk also reflects the interactions of social groups about disaster-related risk issues, which are potential amplifiers or attenuators of communication signals. The key concept of social amplification implies that the risks pertaining to natural disasters interact with social, psychological, institutional, and cultural processes in ways that can affect public perceptions of risk. SMCRE Model is methodologically employed to examine risk communication history of China with the focus on natural disaster. Four earthquakes are selected to figure out the chronological characteristics of risk communication since 1970s. He bei Tang Shan earthquake is selected as an example disaster before 1990's, while the earthquake in Yun Nan Jiang is explored for the case study of 1990's. The earthquake in Si Chuan Wen Chuan is also examined as a example disaster of 2000's. The recent earthquake in Si Chuan Ya An Lu Shan is selected as a case of 2010s. Results - SMCRE model in this case study is operationally defined as a methodology and applied to the four earthquakes occurred in China. SMCRE model describes the exchange of risk information and is also applied to all forms of communication between stake holders. Each factor of risk communication includes source, message, channel, receiver and effect. It is notable that a big progress has been made on disaster risk communication in China for the past 40 years. We also found that highly developed information technology has enabled Chinese society to better cope with natural disaster, leading to enhanced disaster risk communication. It is mainly found from case study that the disaster risk communication of China has been involved with political situation, which derived from the change of government for the past 40 years. Conclusion - From this historical research, it can be inferred that the policies and politics of Chinese leaders have had a more critical role to play in the process of source of risk communication than those of any other countries. The results of this paper also support that the effective risk communication involves not only the improved reliability of local government as a key factor of disaster risk communication, but also is accompanied by international cooperation for substantial collaboration with stake holders.
Korean Youth are facing diverse problems. For-instance Korean youth are even called '7 given-up generation' which indicates that they gave up marriage, giving birth, social relationship, housing, dream and the hope. From this point, the study concludes that the influential factors of the alcohol problems of youth should be studied based on the eco social perspectives. And it adopted data-mining methods, using SAS-Enterprise Miner for the analysis, targeting 2538 youths. Specifically, the study analyzed and chose the most predictable model using decision tree analysis, artificial neural network and logistic analysis. As the result, the study found that gender, age, smoking, spouse, family-number, jobsearching and economic participation are statistically significant determinants of alcohol problems of youth. Precisely, those who are male, younger, have the spouse, have less family number, searching jobs, have more income and have the job were more prone to have the alcohol problems. Based on the result, this study proposed the addiction problems targeting youth and etc. and expect to have the contribution on implementing procedures for the alcohol problems.
The study aimed to analyze the structure of China's passenger railway network in the years of 2008, 2013, and 2018, respectively. At the same time, it tried to investigate its derivative impact on the patterns of Chinese urban network. The analytical tool was based on the NetMiner4.0. In order to measure network characteristics of China's passenger railway network, it primarily focused on the degree centrality, betweenness centrality, and closeness centrality. First of all, the higher degree centralities, with a few exceptions, were observed in BeiJing, ShangHai, GuangZhou, WuHan, XiAn, ChengDu, HaErBin, and ShenYang over a decade. In contrast, the higher betweenness centralities were recorded in cities of higher development potential including WuLuMuQi, GuiYang, ShenYang, and KunMing. The closeness centrality analyses confirmed the fact that most metropoles like BeiJing, ShangHai, and GuangZhou kept the highest train accessibility during the same research period. At the same time, the opening up of a new stretch of high speed railway network has consecutively strengthened connectivity between BeiJing and TianJin. Owing to unprecedented development of railway traffic and its extensive operations, this study believes that Chinese major cities, without interruption, would pursue a series of urban policy alternatives geared towards railway stations-oriented networking and competitively try to extend their network ranges.

Traditionally, travel demand forecasts have been conducted based on the data collected by a survey of individual travel behavior, and their limitations such as the accuracy of travel demand forecasts have been also raised. In recent, advancements in information and communication technologies are enabling new datasets in travel demand forecasting research. Such datasets include data from global positioning system (GPS) devices, data from mobile phone signalling, and data from call detail record (CDR), and they are used for reducing the errors in travel demand forecasts. Based on these background, the objective of this study is to assess the feasibility of CDR as a base data for travel demand forecasts. To perform this objective, CDR data collected for Daegu Metropolitan area for four days in April including weekdays and weekend days, 2017, were used. Based on these data, we analyzed the correlation between CDR and travel demand by travel survey data. The result showed that there exists the correlation and the correlation tends to be higher in discretionary trips such as non-home based business, non-home based shopping, and non-home based other trips.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the safety contents presented in high school science textbooks of the 2015 revised national science curriculum. For these, we found safety contents in the inquiries and appendices of 63 science textbooks: integrated science, science inquiry experiment, physics I, II, chemistry I, II, biology I, II, and earth science I, II. We analyzed these safety contents using six safety factors based on the seven standards for safety education. The main results are as follows: First, 81(46.0%) inquiries among 176 curriculum inquiries contain safety contents, and these contents are mainly found in chemistry textbooks, and the least in 'science inquiry experiment' textbooks. Second, safety contents are found the most in 'laboratory safety rule', followed by 'safety symbol' and 'usage of protection equipment'. Third, the safety contents of appendices are mainly in 'laboratory safety rule' and 'accident treatment'. Based on these results of this study, it is concluded that these textbooks have problems; that there is a big difference in describing safety contents in each textbook; that these safety contents are not presented in detail and that the educational effect is reduced. Furthermore, the safety symbol is not standardized. We also discussed ways to improve the safety contents of science textbooks.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the third pandemic in history after the Hong Kong flu and swine flu. The outbreak of Corona 19 dramatically reduced exchanges between countries, while rapid contagion created a time gap in economic fluctuations by country. In January 2020, the trade dispute between the US and China entered into a consensus phase, but the economic decoupling phenomenon caused by Corona 19 made it difficult for China to balance trade with the US and made it difficult to comply with the terms of the trade dispute agreement between the US and China. President Trump attributed the responsibility for the spread of Corona 19 to China, and pointed out that the cause of the economic downturn was the infringement of Chinese trade secrets and illegal copies, and protectionism arose. As a result, China protested fiercely, and the conflict with the United States deepened. The US has declared trade sanctions on Huawei and SMIC, which are key companies in China's semiconductor industry, and is predicting the risk of a disconnection of the semiconductor value chain between the US and China. The separation of the value chain of the semiconductor industry has the potential to have a big impact on the semiconductor industry, a structure that is highly specialized and monopolized by certain countries and companies in the value chain. This paper aims to deal with the risk of disconnection in the semiconductor value chain between the US and China reignited by Corona 19, the impact and change of the global semiconductor industry value chain, and the response strategies of Korean semiconductor companies.
This study extracts topics related to university education through newspaper articles and analyzes the characteristics of each topic and the reporting patterns of each newspaper. Relevant articles since 2016 have been analyzed by newspaper type and before/after COVID-19 through which differences in the topics were studied and discussed. These findings would suggest a basic policy guideline for university education and imply that the positive and negative effects of the media need to be considered.
The roles and functions of domestic public libraries are diversifying, but various problems have emerged due to internally biased book lending. In addition, due to the 4th Industrial Revolution, public libraries have introduced a book recommendation system focusing on popular books, but the variety of books that users can access is limited. Therefore, in this study, the public library unborrowed book recommendation system was implemented limiting its spatial scope to Duryu Library in Daegu City to enhance the satisfaction of public library users, by using the loan records data (213,093 cases), user information (35,561 people), etc. and utilizing methods like cluster analysis, topic modeling, content-based filtering recommendation algorithm, and conducted a survey on actual users' satisfaction to present the possibility and implications of the unborrowed book recommendation system. As a result of the analysis, the majority of users responded with high satisfaction, and was able to find the satisfaction was relatively high in the class classified by specific gender, age, occupation, and usual reading. Through the results of this study, it is expected that some problems such as biased book lending and reduced operational efficiency of public libraries can be improved, and limitations of the study was also presented.
