Influence of Ag nano-powder additions on the superconducting properties of Mg $B_2$ materials

  • Silver nano-powder was added to Ma $B_2$ to make (Ag)$_{(x)wt.%}$(Mg $B_2$)$_{(l00-x)wt.%}$ (A $g_{x}$-Mg $B_2$) (10 $\leq$ x $\leq$ 50) composite superconductors to investigate the effect of the Ag nano-powder on the vortex pinning. Pellets made out of the mixed powder were put inside stainless steel tubes, which were sintered at 85$0^{\circ}C$ in Ar atmosphere. No impurity phase was identified for as-rolled samples. However, both the Mg $B_2$ and the A $g_{x}$-Mg $B_2$ composite pellets, when sintered, contain small amount of Mg $B_4$ and MgAg impurity phases. From the magnetization study, it was found that the flux pinning was improved in the high magnetic field region (> 3 T) only when 10w/o Ag was added to Mg $B_2$. The "two step" structures in ZFC M(T) curve gradually increased as the amount of Ag added increased. Pinning centers can be created by adding a suitable amount of Ag nano-powder which is not too large to increase the decoupling between the Mg $B_2$ grains.crease the decoupling between the Mg $B_2$ grains.

종합병원 진단용방사선장비의 고장유형 분석 (Studies on Failure Kind Analysis of the Radiologic Medical Equipment in General Hospital)

  • This paper included a data analysis of the unit of medical devices using mainternance recording card that had medical devices of unit failure mode, hospital of failure mode and MTBF. The results of the analysis were as follows : 1. Medical devices of unit failure mode was the highest in QC/PM such A hospital as 33.9%, B hospital 30.9%, C hospital 30.3%, second degree was the Electrical and Electronic failure such A hospital as 23.5%, B hospital 25.3%, C hospital 28%, third degree was mechanical failure such A hospital as 19.5%, B hospital 22.5%, C hospital 25.4%. 2. Hospital of failure mode was the highest in Mobile X-ray device(A hospital 62.5%, B hospital 69.5%, C hospital 37.4%), and was the lowest in Sono devices(A hospital 16.76%, B hospital 8.4%, C hospital 7%). 3. Mean time between failures(MTBT) was the highest in SONO devices and was the lowest in Mobile X-ray devices which have 200 - 400 failure hours. 4. Anverage failure ratio was the highest in Mobile X-ray devices(A hospital 31.3%, B hospital 34.8%, C hospital 18.7%), and was the lowest in Sono(Ultrasound) devices (A hospital 8.4%, B hospital 4.2%, C hospital 3.5%). 5. Failure ratio results of medical devices according to QC/PM part of unit failure mode were as follows ; A hospital was the highest part of QC/PM (50%) in Mamo X-ray device and was the lowest part of QC/PM(26.4%) in Castro X-ray. B hospital was the highest part of QC/PM(56%) in Mobile X-ray device, and the lowest part of QC/PM(12%) in Gastro X-ray. C hospital was the highest part of QC/PM(60%) in R/F X-ray device, and the lowest a part of QC/PM(21%) in Universal X-ray. It was found that the units responsible for most failure decreased by systematic management. We made the preventive maintenance schedule focusing on adjustement of operating and dust removal.

  • The microwave dielectric properties of ((P $b_{1-x}$ C $a_{x}$)Zr $O_3$ and (P $b_{0.63}$,C $a_{0.37-x}$ $M_{x}$)Zr $O_3$(M=Mg,Sr) ceramics were investigated. In (P $b_{1-x}$ C $a_{x}$)Zr $O_3$ (X=0.33~0.40) ceramics, high quality factor and small temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were obtain in (P $b_{0.63}$C $a_{0.37}$)Zr $O_3$with perovskite structure. In the case of (P $b_{0.63}$C $a_{0.37-x}$M $g_{x}$)Zr $O_3$ dielectric constant temperature coefficient of resonant frequency increased and quality factor decreased due to increase of polarization of A-O bonding. When replacing Ca ion with Sr ion with large ion radius, polarization decreased with increased of bonding length and thus dielectric constant and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency decreased.decreased.creased.

THE IMAGES OF LOCALLY FINITE 𝓔-DERIVATIONS OF POLYNOMIAL ALGEBRAS

  • Let K be a field of characteristic zero. We first show that images of the linear derivations and the linear 𝓔-derivations of the polynomial algebra K[x] = K[x1, x2, …, xn] are ideals if the products of any power of eigenvalues of the matrices according to the linear derivations and the linear 𝓔-derivations are not unity. In addition, we prove that the images of D and 𝛿 are Mathieu-Zhao spaces of the polynomial algebra K[x] if D = ∑ni=1 (aixi + bi)∂i and 𝛿 = I - 𝜙, 𝜙(xi) = λixi + 𝜇i for ai, bi, λi, 𝜇i ∈ K for 1 ≤ i ≤ n. Finally, we prove that the image of an affine 𝓔-derivation of the polynomial algebra K[x1, x2] is a Mathieu-Zhao space of the polynomial algebra K[x1, x2]. Hence we give an affirmative answer to the LFED Conjecture for the affine 𝓔-derivations of the polynomial algebra K[x1, x2].

차세대소형위성2호의 X대역 합성 개구 레이더 탑재를 위한 200 W급 송·수신 모듈의 설계 및 개발 (Design and Development of 200 W TRM on-board for NEXTSat-2 X-band SAR)

  • 본 논문에서는 차세대소형위성2호의 X 대역 합성 개구 레이더(SAR; synthetic aperture radar)에 탑재하기 위한 고출력 송·수신 모듈의 설계 및 개발에 관하여 논한다. 모듈은 X 대역의 대상 주파수 범위에서 100 MHz 의 대역폭을 갖는 고출력 펄스 신호를 출력하며, 수신신호에 대해 저잡음 증폭 기능을 수행한다. 제작된 모듈의 송신경로는 200 watt (53.01 dBm) 이상의 출력 신호 세기, 0.35 dB의 펄스폭 기울기, 송신 신호 출력간 0.04 dB 의 신호 세기 변화 및 1.7 ˚ 의 위상 변화를 갖고, 수신경로는 3.81 dB 의 잡음지수, 37.38 ~ 37.46 dB 의 이득을 가짐으로써, 요구되는 성능을 만족함을 확인하였다. 제작된 모듈은 차세대소형위성2호 비행모델에 장착되어 있으며, 추후 누리호에 탑재되어 발사될 예정이다.

THE NUMBER OF REPRESENTATIONS BY A TERNARY SUM OF TRIANGULAR NUMBERS

  • For positive integers a, b, c, and an integer n, the number of integer solutions $(x,y,z){\in}{\mathbb{Z}}^3$ of $a{\frac{x(x-1)}{2}}+b{\frac{y(y-1)}{2}}+c{\frac{z(z-1)}{2}}=n$ is denoted by t(a, b, c; n). In this article, we prove some relations between t(a, b, c; n) and the numbers of representations of integers by some ternary quadratic forms. In particular, we prove various conjectures given by Z. H. Sun in [6].

NEW RESULTS FOR THE SERIES 2F2(x) WITH AN APPLICATION

  • The well known quadratic transformation formula due to Gauss: $$(1-x)^{-2a}{_2F_1}\[{{a,b;}\\\hfill{21}{2b;}}\;-\frac{4x}{(1-x)^2}\]={_2F_1}\[{{a,a-b+\frac{1}{2};}\\\hfill{65}{b+\frac{1}{2};}}\;x^2\]$$ plays an important role in the theory of (generalized) hypergeometric series. In 2001, Rathie and Kim have obtained two results closely related to the above quadratic transformation for $_2F_1$. Our main objective of this paper is to deduce some interesting known or new results for the series $_2F_1(x)$ by using the above Gauss's quadratic transformation and its contiguous relations and then apply our results to provide a list of a large number of integrals involving confluent hypergeometric functions, some of which are (presumably) new. The results established here are (potentially) useful in mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, and so on.

Effect of Ga, Nb Addition on Disproportionation Kinetics of Nd-Fe-B Alloy

  • The effect of Ga and, Nb addition on the kinetics and mechanism of the disproportionation of a Nd-Fe-B alloy were investigated by isothermal thermopiezic analysis (TPA) using $Nd_{12.5}Fe_{(81.1-(x+y))}B_{6.4}Ga_xNb_y$ (x=0 and 0.3, y= 0 and 0.2) alloys. The addition of Ga and Nb retarded the disproportionation kinetics of the Nd-Fe-B alloy significantly, and increased the activation energy of the disproportionation reaction. The disproportionation kinetics of the $Nd_{12.5}Fe_{(81.1-(x+y))}B_{6.4}Ga_xNb_y$ alloys measured under an initial hydrogen pressure of 0.02 MPa were fitted to a parabolic rate law. This suggested that during the disproportionation of $Nd_{12.5}Fe_{(81.1-(x+y))}B_{6.4}Ga_xNb_y$ alloys with an initial hydrogen pressure of 0.02 MPa, a continuous disproportionation product is formed and the overall reaction rate is limited by the diffusion of hydrogen atoms (or ions).
